CECILE MARIANNA VAN WIEREN

having grown up as a royal cecile has been well educated and trained on the ways of her nation and the expectations held of the royal family. while she has always understood the politics of it all, there have been many times over her life in which she has wondered within herself what it might have been like to live a normal life. while she understands what must be done, she identifies with and has much compassion for the subjects and people of frisia. often, she disguises herself so that she may venture into town and spend time among the ‘commoners’, believing that the only true way to rule is to get in touch with the reality of her nation’s day-to-day. 

while many describe cecile as being demanding, withdrawn, and a bit stand-offish, the truth is that she only comes across this way because she feels she must. allowing others to see how compassionate and kind she truly is would indicate weakness, which she has long been taught should never be displayed lest it be used against her later. she is a hopeless romantic at heart, and truly wants the best for everyone from this situation.
