as the chaos stretches between the sister cities, lillian luthor has finally had had her fill of watching those who defended metahumans dwindle as the paranormal crime rates increased. her lips curled into a subtle smile as her eyes scanned every bit of leaked intel that she’s helped give to reporters and news outlets, she finally folded the papers neatly and reached for her phone, “get me jeremiah, please.”

her eyes flickered towards the darkened features of jeremiah danvers as he walked into her office, “how are our trackers doing?” she asked him, her expression alight. “they’re tracking the subjects perfectly, we even picked up on a few more subjects, some who didn’t attend the event...and..”

“and?” lillian arched a brow, staring at him intently, “you found supergirl.” lillian sussed, her smiled turning into a wider simper as she rose to her feet, “well then, i see no point to putting it off any longer. we must make our move now, so we don’t clash with the league’s interests.” lillian spoke as she moved around her desk, hand held out for the tablet. she cradled the piece of technology almost reverently as she flipped between the names on her screen. aurora jett, cisco ramone, dinah drake, justin johnson, pamela isley, vivian straights...all with different powers, all holding their fair share of just exactly what lillian wanted. 

“we need them in the facilities tomorrow. is your team ready?” lillian’s eyes flickered up to jeremiah’s, who nodded grimly, “perfect. follow protocol, don’t scruff them up too much. we don’t want to waste time with fixing them before we begin trials. they’re all high risk, and very capable of retaliating. do not hesitate to sedate them.” lillian instructed as she handed the tablet back to jeremiah, who hesitated, before asking, “and supergirl?��� 

“oh, we’ll need her. we’ll need someone impermeable that they can go up against, someone who can take the extents of their powers. you have your kryptonite serum.” lillian waved him off as she paced back towards the line of windows of the offices she resided in. everything was going perfectly according to plan.

as explained before, project CADMUS intends on recreating the metahumans captured on other people. phase I of their plans is to experiment on existing metahumans so that they can create evil versions on kidnapped, random people (most likely npc’s) in phase II. that being said, the experiments are designed to test your character’s powers, and push them to the extreme limits. they’re not acts of torture, but science, of course, can be very painful. also, the meta’s are intended to go up against supergirl, who also will part of the captives until found. your character can attempt to escape but will not succeed. they can either be freed from someone on the outside, or let go by CADMUS after they have served their purpose. click the read more for more informaton. characters in the same facility can communicate through an open line between their equipped rooms, provided specifically so that the subjects are not too mentally affected by the isolation - each room is sustained to block the attempts of each character to use their powers, showing just how long and how much the preparations had been to take them in. the room’s are not spacious, enough to contain a bed and surveillance. there is a double sided glass on one wall, for characters to be observed by scientists whenever a test is conducted, and on the back of their neck a sensor has been planted to measure their heart beats, blood pressure, and body chemistry levels. if you wish your character to sustain further tests outside the confines of their room, that’s okay. 

make sure to interact with supergirl and plot some action sequences together! 

if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask the main. 

ps: this drop is not just for those who will get taken, but for those close to them as well. freak out, team up, and try to find your loved ones! this is a great opportunity to introduce different connections!

ps: the characters who are taken can interact with those they’re in the same facility as, or through self paras. and they can continue any threads they had ongoing before getting taken.

Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to overcoming the consequences of any misfortune.

Breaking News

The dust is finally settling from the sudden uptick in villainous attacks on the city in the absence of our heroes, and everyone is left wondering where our super-powered friends were at when they were needed most. 

Lois Lane and Iris West-Allen were able to gather information from various sources in order to write a front-page spread on the night’s events, with direct quotes from one of the apprehended criminals, thanks to Miss Lane. After speaking with some of our costumed heroes, an explanation of where they were was written eloquently, though not all of the citizens truly believe their words. 

Below is a breakdown of what will continue forward in our canon.

Anya Volkov escaped, but not without leaving a decent body count behind and more than a few marks on those left alive. Though, she didn’t come out unscathed, either.

Rok-al was injured by a lead bullet, giving the CCPD a strong lead as to how to apprehend him in the future. Despite his injuries, he was able to escape.

Mark Mardon had his fun at the Marina, but when it came down to it, the CCPD deployed the anti-metahuman technology, dampening his powers and leaving him vulnerable to arrest. He was placed in cuffs and will be locked up in the metahuman wing of Iron Heights prison.

The metahuman heroes were released from STAR Labs once the villains either escaped or were captured, leaving the city wondering where they were when needed most. 

The extraterrestrials were given passage back to Earth, while Mxy pouted, realizing that maybe it wasn’t a wise decision to take all the superheroes away in a single night. The sneaky imp didn’t leave without a parting gift, though. Mxyzptlk left them with means to travel to Argo whenever they please, giving them ample opportunity to experience true humanity and have a break from their powers whenever they like.

While most all memories are retained, any revealed identities are wiped from said memories, leaving it up to the heroes to determine whether or not to entrust that knowledge to others.

Mistrust of the heroes is beginning to spread through sectors of the city.

Hello angels!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be having a formal activity check on Sunday, June 6th. It’s nothing to be worried about (obvs) but we wanted to give you ample notice! Please remember to be mindful of being generous with showing your love to all threads and interactions with our wonderful array of muns and characters!

If you need to take a hiatus for any reason (be it an emergency, prior life commitments, or just a plain ole mental break from the internet) just shoot a message to the main! We want to be able to support you in your time of need!

We are also beginning to craft our next event and will be filling you in on the theme and times. Please continue to push your plots forward and breaking the dash with your creativity and brilliance.

Starting 6/7/21, applications for original characters will be put on hold as we work toward bringing more arrowverse canon characters into play.

If an original character is apped, the admins will take the character into heavy review and consideration in order to determine if they will fit into the canon arc.

We highly encourage DCTV & DCU Canon characters, and are happy to help search for resources if that is a roadblock. We ask that if a comic-specific character is apped, that you review the game canon and ensure all the pieces are there in order for the character to fit in seamlessly.

We ask that characters from other earths be chosen for a specific reason, as we are moving towards our crisis event in the future. If apping someone from another earth, please distinguish in your bio why & how they made their way to Earth-1 from their home Earth.

Pandora’s Box exists! Recently, Alicia Baker has been contacted to host an auction. The item in question? The mystical and mysterious Pandora’s Box, all proceeds going to charity. However, few know of the power that the Box holds. Pandora’s Box is inherited from one guardian to another. 

The guardian acts as a keeper of a prison to the greatest evils in the world. Today, no guardian was to protect the Box, and it fell into the wrong hands. Now it’s up for auction, and anyone can purchase it. 

However, buyer beware, Pandora once opened the Box and allowed the evil into the world. What will you do?

The admins hope you are all having a great week! We will be making application acceptances tomorrow, December 4th. 

The following weekend (December 12-13) we will conduct an activity check.

Please note —

We will be resuming activity checks starting Sunday, July 5th, 2020. 

The allowed period of inactivity is 7 days, after which the character will get one 24 hour warning to resume activity or ask the main for a hiatus. When a character is inactive for that period of time, they are given a strike (see below about our strike system). After three strikes, or three times being on an activity check, we will unfollow that character. To reapply, you must prove to the admins that you can meet our activity guidelines. 

**Pictures, gifsets, music, etc are not considered activity. Please try and keep those sort of posts to two (2) per day, per character**

In the past there has been a strike system, and we will continue to implement that. 

To ensure the rules are being followed up to par, a strike system is implemented on each member. It’s a simple three-strike, you’re out dynamic. How would a member get a strike? It’s simple. If a member breaks ANY of the rules found HERE. Or if a member is on an activity check three times consecutively. Members will be informed the moment they get a strike, and after the third strike, the member will be sent a message informing them that they have been let go of the group, and an unfollow will be posted. We’ve been lenient with the rules before but that simply can’t stand anymore if we’re to ensure the solidarity of the group.

Please ensure you are interacting with several muns, as we don’t want anyone to feel left out or secluded. 

If we see excessive bubble roleplaying, we will address it as such. If it becomes a problem, a warning will be issued before a strike.

There are a few things that have been brought to our attention that need to be addressed.

As of today, 6/4/2020, we are putting a pause on applications from doppelgangers from other Earths. If you wish to pick up a character from another Earth (excluding E-19), that character cannot have a name or faceclaim that is already in play. 

There have been more instances of Metagaming as of late, and we are putting a stop to that NOW. This is in no way okay under any circumstance. You must speak with the mun of a character prior to including them in any major plot points, such as outing a secret identity, either to others or themselves.

Metagaming is a mun's use of real-life knowledge concerning the state of the game to determine their character's actions when said character has no relevant knowledge or awareness under the circumstances.

Bubble RPing has been getting more and more prevalent, and it can make it hard to approach a particular character or character(s) for some. We understand that it is hard at times to RP across time zones and over the years we’ve gotten very comfortable with one another. However, we want to challenge you to practice patience for others and their personal commitments and broaden your horizons as content creators.
