"Hey Zangya, how have you been?" Krillin greeted her as he landed near, wearing his orange gi. "As promised, I said I'd be ready to train with you in a week for the tournament."

Now he was here, Krillin was lost on how to proceed. "I guess the question is, where should we train exactly?" he wondered, glancing up in thought.

"Yeah, I'll see then! It's good catching up with you, Zangya!" Krillin said before flying out a window with a wave, eager to start his self training. He never thought he'd be excited again since his last tournament, all the more reason he had to get back into fighting shape, and one week should do it.

Zangya could see the look in Krillin’s expression that he wasn’t decent enough for training with her, at the moment.

“Meet up in a week? Sure. I can wait.” The reformed Herajin said crossing her arms around her chest.

Rebuilding the Blocks (Krillin/Zangya AU)

Part 1

Sometime after the android attack on West City, Krillin continued to help with reconstruction and securing the area where the destroyed buildings were being rebuilt. The police office sped up the progress significantly with use of his abilities, it came in handy especially when it came to clearing the ground and carrying large chunks of debris. 

“Phew! This area is clear now, you can set a perimeter! I’m going to take my lunch break, I’ll see you guys later!” Krillin called at the others before heading out of the construction area. He looked at his phone in wonder, Zangya was open to lunch last he saw her, maybe now was a good time to call her?

"Alright!" Krillin agreed, then realised what Zangya said, like get started now?

"Whoa! Hang on a second!" He put his hands up, thinking ahead some. "I'm honestly very rusty, it wouldn't be fair on you training with me if I haven't gotten decent enough!"

Also it'll be embarrassing to show how behind he was, he didn't want Zangya's pity either. "How about we meet up in a week? That should give me enough time to self train, then I'll be ready to train with you properly for the tournament!"

Zangya blinked for a moment, but then she smiled at the idea that Krillin and she would start their training for the World Martial Arts Tournament.

“Okay then…” She said brushing the bangs of her hair with her fingers. “Let’s get started, cutie.”

"Yeah! I just feel it would be more challenging and satisfying to match their power and winning with skill," Krillin spoke, looking forward to the tournament to come.

"Well then, I guess we should start training huh," he decided as he stretched some. It was nice meeting Zangya and all, the next time would be as fellow martial artists in the ring.

Hearing Krillin say that she has her human form and alias, the reformed Herajin started to smile that she was being filled with confidence in entering the next World Martial Arts Tournament.

“Okay. I’ll take your word for it, cutie.” She smiled. “Still, I won’t use my full power against my opponents.” Zangya stated. “I’ll just go easy on them.”

"Yeah!" Krillin confirmed with a wider grin. It was rare he'd do something spontaneous like this, but it felt right with minimal risk. “You have your human form and alias, right? You enter like that and it should be fine, it’s not like you’ll have to ever use your full power too, even against me.”

He felt it was a fool proof plan, but to make it completely safe. “If you’re still worried though, we can always use the dragonballs to have the audience at the tournament forget about you there. We’ve used them for uh, less haha,” he suggested with a laugh, having heard Bulma used the dragonballs for minor cosmetics on herself.

“A-Are you serious?” Zangya asked towards her police officer/monk friend in shock about entering the next World Tournament together. “I mean, sure. I would love to, but what if people will recognize me after what Bojack and I did when we showed up? I don’t want to cause any trouble.” She said with worry mentioning when the Galaxy Soldier attacked Earth during X.S. Cash’s Tournament, the time they showed up.

// Tourney Training [Krillin x Zangya] - Part 3

"Alright, let's see how much my training's paid off. Whoa!" Krillin barely hopped out of the way of Zangay's sliding attack, then kicked off the ground to launch himself into the air.

"Over here!" The monk then threw a white energ blast that exploded in front of Zangya, deliberately setting up a smoke screen for Krillin to charge through with a flying kick towards her face.

“Very well then. After you.” Zangya said in a kind manner.

She follows after Krillin to the mountainous region he had in mind for them to train, to get ready for the World Tournament.

The female Heran began to float down to where Krillin was, and she brushed the bangs of her hair before starting their training together. “Okay. Here I come!” She shouted going in for the first blow, with a slide attack.

Tourney Training [Krillin x Zangya] - Part 2

"Same!" Krillin agreed. Though he did fancy the Heran, he seemed more invested in her as a martial artist, why they decided to train together for the upcoming tournament.

"Yeah, that's a good idea, that way we can go all out easier without worrying about any civilians!" he added with a nod, then looked ahead deeply in through. "I think I know just the place, follow me!"

Krillin flew ahead, making sure to sense out any ki of civilians up ahead, even the ki signature of Piccolo, who he got the coordinates of secluded locations from, the Namek used a few for his own training and meditation.

"Here looks good," he decided as they landed in the middle of a mountain range, then slid into a fighting stance. "Alright, I'm ready when you are!"

"Hello Krillin. It's nice to see you here." She said to her friend who had bedazzled by her beautiful appearance.

It had been a while since the reformed Herajin had interacted with Krillin, now that he was a cop. And she was looking forward to the day she could train with him for the World Tournament.

"Where to train? How about... a mountainous region with less people around?" Zangya suggested.

“Is that so?” Zangya asked to Krillin hearing that he competes in the World Martial Arts Tournament as well when she told him that she competed to use her strength during the competition.

“You must’ve had your share of fights against big opponents on the arena.” Zangya smiled to Krillin.

“Yeah! Though I’ve never won, just getting some prize money would be good enough for me!” Krillin replied enthusiastically. It really would be nice to compete again, so he had a bright idea. “You know what? Why don’t we compete in the next one together?”

Zangya smiled when the bald warrior infatuated with the Galaxy Soldier liked her having a jacuzzi in her own room, but she had to answer his question about her holding back during one of the World Tournaments she entered.

“Well cutie, I was going to use my full strength during the competition, but that would mean revealing my true self, and I don’t want to risk making a planet wide panic.” She explained. “I had to disguise myself in my human form as “Sadira”.”

“That is true, honestly I had to hold myself back too during my police patrols,” Krillin agreed with a nod as he reflected back to being more human to fit in with society while protecting it.

“Sadira, huh. That’s a pretty and fitting name for you!” He had to give Zangya credit for adapting to Earthling life as well as she did, while still able to be her true self in privacy when needed. “You know now you mention it, it’ll be nice to compete in the world tournament again.”

“As a matter of fact, I do enjoy the jacuzzi in my hotel room.” Zangya spoke to Krillin about the jacuzzi in the room. “Believe it or not, the purchase was quite a challenge.” She explained.

“I needed some money, so I had to help pick up some litter, and then I had entered one of those “World Tournaments” on this planet. I survived and got runner up prize.”

“Damn a jacuzzi? That’s awesome!” Krillin exclaimed, Zangya must have saved up a lot for that! He was really impressed, and smart about it too by winning world tournaments over the years. 

“Did you have to hold back while competing?” he asked in wonder. With someone of her strength, she could have won easily, it wasn’t like the Galactic one that was hosted where they first met.

“Well, now that you mention it, cutie, there is a room just behind my closet.” Zangya spoke as the Herajin showed Krillin the way to her closet where she kept some of her clothes she bought while she stayed on Earth.

She pushes a side button behind the fur coats, and the doorway revealed a jacuzzi room. “This room is where I relax and in one of those ‘jacuzzis’ that I heard people enjoy in this world.”

“Wow, there is?!” Krillin exclaimed excitedly, like in those spy movies he sometimes watched with Master Roshi. “Holy crap, you actually have a jacuzzi in here! That’s awesome!” He was amazed at the setup and how well Zangya had done for herself since settling down on Earth.

“They’re very popular for those who can afford it, do you enjoy it like they do too? It's quite the purchase,” He asked her curiously, since Zangya was an alien after all, she might not have the exact tastes like the humans do.

The reformed Herajin leads the way for the monk cop as she welcomes him as a guest in the East City Condominiums and takes him to her room. Zangya then moves the blinds and shows the view she was talking about.

“Here we are. A magnificent view of East City, isn’t it?” She asked.

“Wow, this is amazing! I’d almost kill for a view like this!” Krillin exclaimed at what Zangya meant, it was even more impactful since East City was his home base in a sense. The monk then looked mourned the room curiously then back at Zangya with a smile.

“So is there anything else besides the view? Like maybe a secret room or something?” he asked her with a chuckle.

Zangya, the reformed Galaxy Soldier beauty had then led Krillin to her new home on Earth, the East City Condominiums. She then stops and lands gracefully on the ground as she turns the bald cop.

“I live on the second floor of this lovely establishment. Room 234.” She replied to Krillin pointing at the third floor. “I just love to watch the view of the city from there in my room.”

“I see! I bet the view is indeed great as you say!” Krillin commented enthusiastically as he continued to follow Zangya’s lead, trying to hold back the habit of just flying to the room himself for convenience. “I’m sure it looks great inside too!”

“A world within its own universe, you say? How very interesting.” Zangya said smiling at Krillin when he had told her that there was more of Earth that he and his friends haven’t explored before they encountered each other.

“Of course. Yamcha had was slowly recognizing me due to the look of my hair.” She explained about her encounter with Yamcha on Valentine’s Day. “I’m unsure if he had hit on me, but I did call him handsome after he had given me some beautiful flowers and presents. He even accepted me as one of you good guys.” She said.

“Yes, I’m sure the Earth has many other wonders we haven’t even explored yet!” Krillin said enthusiastically, and they had the means to do so with their means of flight and superhuman powers too. It wouldn’t be too bad of a date idea either, but planning that could wait for later.

“Yeah, your hair does stand out I admit haha.” He laughed a little, the smiled more at what Yamcha did. Well at least he didn’t make Zangya uncomfortable, even better that he recognised her as one of them now, part of the good guys. “I’m glad to hear that Zangya, I might have told him about how you helped us against those Androids eheh.” He admitted sheepishly, just wanting to make sure none of his friends jumped to conclusions about Zangya, she wasn’t starting any trouble with her new life on Earth after all.
