Taking a break from crocheting ruffles to finish colouring these plush designs :3

Ive almost finished my big project Sun plush (he just needs his joints stitched on, face markings and clothes) and im so excited to show it off!!!! ^^

But since hes lanky and has wire inside him, hes not the most comfortable to cuddle XD

(It is a joy to hold his hand though!)

So i made these designs to be very cuddly!! ^w^

I decided to hit em with the cute animal beam, too XD

So eventually i might be making these silly lil guys :)

I think i finally decided on a design for the dca crochet bags im working on! ^^

I think im just gonna put both designs on one bag, with one on each side

Idk why i didnt immediately think of that before XD

Im now on a hunt to find blue yarn so i can finish them! ><

I just know crocheting all that ruffling will take me forever 😭😭

BUT ITLL BE WORTH ITTTT!!!

I also need to find a pretty cotton fabric that matches the theming so that i can line it

I watched another playthrough yesterday and am now hyped on the game all over again

SO I MADE SOME PLUSH CONCEPTS IMPULSIVELY >:3

I already patterned a Starlo plush quite a bit ago, but its a fully poseable, more complicated one

So for fun i decided to do some smaller chibi-er versions of Star and Dalv ^^

I pretty much already have patterns almost finished for them, its mainly just the clothing patterns id have to trial and error

If making my own goes well, i might consider making more for etsy ^^

Im still not sure though, because theyre still quite time consuming so idk if anyone would see it as worth what it might be up for

But anyways

Im really excited to try out the patterns at some point :)

And ill probably make more of the characters eventually ^^

Crocheting a lil star bag based on Sunny :D

Ive had these colours for a while and couldnt figure out what dca themed project to do with it XD

But i finally decided on one :3

When its finished, its going to be lined and have red ribbon bows and bells on the sides

Im gonna post it when its all done, but i wanted to put up a WIP to gauge interest and if anyone would be interested in having one? :3

If it turns out well, ill likely make another/more to put up on my etsy! ^^

Im thinking of also making other versions that are just plain yellow stars, still with the ribbon and bells, and with the straps having either blue+stars for Moon, or red and yellow stripes for Sun

I might even make the strap removable and have an option to switch out the two strap styles! ^^

Give me any feedback or other ideas youd like to see! :)

Lil update on the dca bags!! ^^

The moon side of one bag is finished :3

And the ruffles of one strap are about ¾ done!

I AM IN THE MIDST OF CREATING AN ARMY OF STARWALKERS XD

I had the idea of making pocket sized (You can actually carry him around in your inventory!! XD) starwalkers like, a month ago, but only just picked up the project again

Once theyre finished, ill be keeping a buddy for myslef, then selling most of em :)

Theyre lowkey based on the tiny pocket size Bill Cipher i made a few years ago and carry everywhere with me

Hes my lil friend that helps with my anxiety XD

Actually, im thinking of making some tiny Bills to sell too (but theyd obviously look better than my old beaten up one lmao)

I feel like itd make sense since the money will likely go towards buying the book of bill anyways haha

I crocheted a lil sweater for my nephews plush! :)

There is a whole story to this guy and i did write it all out BUT TUMBLR DIDNT SAVE MY FUCKING DRAFT

So here we go again:

Last week i was on holiday and we were in an arcade.

Now, for context, recently me and my bestie have been rewatching a bunch of childhood films and stuff together, and one of the ones we really got reinvested in was httyd. Rn were actually watching rtte together! :3

So when i saw a httyd claw machine with Toothless, the light fury and a few nightlights in it, of course my immediate natural response was

I know, i know theyre rigged.

I am very aware,

... but my stupid ass still proceeded to spend £10 trying to win him

After i had sacrificed my money to the addictive shame hole that is the coin slot, my little 6 year old nephew came over and was like "i wanna try!", so i stepped aside and, frustrated, made a comment to my mom about how "I swear if he wins one now its rigged"

And guess what?

HE FUCKIN WON ONE

The universe decided to spite me and mustve found it absolutely hilarious, as this child who was barely tall enough to reach the controls walked away happily with his new dragon friend.

Safe to say, i went to bed that night very salty XD

I came back to the arcade the next night with an absolute VENGEANCE

I marched straight over to that machine and continued to throw money into the abyss

I very well couldve just bought a plush from somewhere (which was likely the much smarter thing to do) but now it was a matter of goddamn principle, and i was ready to fistfight lady luck at any second

After i wasted another solid £15, my nephew once again bounces his way over to me and asks to have a go

My exasperated, frustrated ass just tells him to go right ahead and steps aside, quite frankly on the verge of just punching through the glass and reaching in to grab the plush myself.

He puts in his coin

Moves the joystick

The claw drops

It grabs the plush

AND HE FUCKIN WINS IT

LITERALLY WHAT ARE THE ODDS 😭😭😭😭

He very excitedly got it out of the machine and then gave it to me, since he already had one, it was the one i wanted, and i spent alot of money trying to get it

And so in return for Toothless, i let him pick out some yarn and made him a sweater for his dragon XD
