Exploring Boracay Island in Summer: A Tropical Paradise
Welcome to Boracay Island, Philippines—a tropical haven renowned for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere. This summer, let’s embark on an unforgettable 5 day journey through one of Asia’s most iconic islands.
Day 1: Arrival and Beach Bliss
Arrive at Caticlan Airport and take a short boat ride to Boracay. The moment you step onto White Beach, you’re greeted by its white powdery sands and turquoise waters. Settle into your beachfront resort and spend your afternoon lounging under a palm tree, soaking up the sun, and taking a refreshing dip in the ocean. As the sun sets, head to a seaside restaurant for a delicious dinner of fresh seafood and local delicacies.
Day 2: Adventure and Exploration
Start your day with a thrilling island-hopping tour. Visit the neighboring islands and coves, such as Crocodile Island for snorkeling and Puka Shell Beach for its quieter, pristine beauty. IN the afternoon, try your hand at kits surfing or paddleboarding, or simply relax at a beachside café with a tropical drink in hand. For dinner, explore D’Mall for a variety of dining options and enjoy the island’s vibrant nightlife.
Day 3: Relaxation and Wellness
After two days of excitement, it’s time to unwind. Begin your day with a relaxing massage at a local spa. Then, take a leisurely stroll along White Beach or indulge in a beachside yoga session. In the afternoon, explore the island’s lush interior with a visit to the Butterfly Garden or the scenic Mount Luho viewpoint for panoramic views of the island. Enjoy a serene dinner at a beachfront restaurant, where you can watch the sunset over the horizon.
Day 4: Cultural Immersion and Shopping
Dedicate this day to experiencing local culture. Visit the local market to sample Filipino street food and shop for souvenirs. Consider participating in a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Filipino dishes. If you would like to do more shopping there is a Citymall and a HappyGo store on the island. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise around the island, where you can admire the stunning colors of the sky and sparkling waters of the Sulu Sea.
Day 5: Departure
On your final day, take a relaxing morning walk along the beach and savor a leisurely breakfast at The Sunny Side café. If time permits, enjoy a last swim or visit any places you might have missed. When it’s time to depart, take with you cherished memories of sun-kissed days, azure waters, and the warm hospitality of Boracay Island.
Boracay in the summer is a vibrant, sun-soaked destination that offers something for everyone—from thrilling adventures and cultural experiences to ultimate relaxation. Whether you’re a beach bum, an adventure seeker, or a cultural enthusiast, Boracay Island is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.

Boracay 2022
It’s sem-break so it’s time to unwind!
Hello BORACAY :)
The original plan was to get a package tour via tour agency however they don’t have the package deal that we like because it’s only a month and a half before our chosen travel date. So we considered doing a D.I.Y tour in Boracay since we have a friend who is a regular tourist in Boracay. We already booked our flights but we could not find a hotel that can accommodate us. Most of the hotels are fully-booked on our chosen date. So I kept on searching and then I found a travel agency which offers a land arrangement in Boracay. As I was hesitant to transact online and they are a bit of a slow responder on online queries, I decided to go directly to their physical office in Festival Mall, Alabang. The land arrangement includes the roundtrip airport pick-up/drop-off, land and sea transfer (excluding the port fees) and beach front hotel accommodation. The land arrangement is a good deal so we decided to get one for a hassle-free travel.
Our flight is 1:00 PM so before we got on board, we ate some snacks at Cafe France. There are only few choices to dine in Terminal 2. So this is the best choice we got there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ready to fly!
Tumblr media
Our plane was able to take off at around 2:00PM after 1 hour of waiting. (The planes are actually in line and waiting for their turn to take off)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Boracay here we come!
Tumblr media
Upon arrival in the airport, all we did was to look for the booth of Island Star Express. We just gave the voucher from travel online and they gave us a sticker on the booth so their staff would recognize us a part of the group that they will take to the port and drop to the hotel.
Tumblr media
Their staff guided us from where we should fall in line upon entering the port, to where we will pay the required fees and present our travel documents. After settling the payment and scanning of QR codes, they gave us our boat seat number. From Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay island, it only took us 30 minutes and additional 10-15 minutes going to our hotel.
Tumblr media
Boracay sunset <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fortunately, we got a room just a few steps away from the beach front. We requested this upon booking, but they informed us ahead of time that they will try to provide us the requested room but they can’t guarantee it because it will depend on the availability.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Day 1: Dinner at Island Chicken Inasal located at Station 2 inside D’Mall.
We had to wait for almost 30 minutes before we got a table here because they are in full capacity when we arrived. I can say that it’s worth the wait because the food is delicious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After dinner, we went to Coco Bar at Red Coconut Hotel to claim our complimentary drink c/o Travel Online. The place is nice and chill and we were able to play jengga as we drink.
Tumblr media
Supposedly, we are going to bar hop on our first day but since my friends are still tired we decided to go back to our hotel to have a rest. On our way to the hotel, we bought some desserts at Halomango (Station 2)
Tumblr media
Day 2: Buffet breakfast at La Carmela de Boracay
Tumblr media
I had to jump several times so that I can have my foot print on the sand :D #Lightweight problems
Tumblr media
Speedboat ride going to the platform for Helmet Diving and Jet Ski.
Tumblr media
I got surprised because they have a platform for riding Jet Ski. So I asked the instructor, why it’s not located near the shore and I was told that there was an incident before that two jetskis had a collision so now there is a platform away from the shore to avoid such incidents from happening again.
Tumblr media
Station X
Tumblr media
Lunch at Nonies (Station 2)
Tumblr media
Enjoying the beach front view :)
Tumblr media
So my friend recommended Real Coffee Muffins. It’s a must buy when you visit Boracay. I enjoyed the mango flavor.
Tumblr media
Dinner at Barlo Two Seasons (Station 1)
Beach front sunset dining experience.
Tumblr media
Epic
Never miss out the night life in Boracay!
So our original plan is to have a drink in epic, then transfer to OM bar then Wave. But we had a blast in Epic that we decided to stay there the whole night till dawn!
Tumblr media
Day3 : Breakfast Buffet
It’s our last day in Boracay, this morning, most seats are occupied so we got to share our table with one of the tourists. It’s nice to have a chit chat over breakfast with a random tourist like us.
Tumblr media
Beautiful <3
If only I could stay here for a bit longer, I would. But I gotta go back to reality and work my ass off again.
Tumblr media
Thank you to Island Star Express for picking us up on time to drop us to the airport just in time.
Tumblr media
Supposedly we are going to shop outside the airport for our “Pasalubong”. Though we already bought some on the island from day 1 to 3. But most of it are souviner items and I only got one food from the island, which is the muffins. I was looking for more food to bring home. However, we got a bit dizzy during our sea transfer. So we decided to buy inside the airport and this is what we found.
Tumblr media
This time, our flight going back to Manila was moved to an earlier time. But guess what? Upon landing to the airport in terminal 2, we had to wait for 30 minutes before we were able to go out the plane :D
We were so thankful that during our travel we didn’t encounter any major problem at all. This is my first time in Boracay, and now I understand why a lot of people kept on going back to that beautiful place. :)
Travel again soon!

Eh wala pa namang harness at helmet yon, as in nakadapa ka lang sa tela levels. Ahahaha. Ahahahaha. Funny na ang scary puta. Okay lang siguro, atleast nasa caticlan ako??? Chariz.
Niweyz, di pa rin ako tapos mag photo dump dito kasi tinatamad pa ako uli. Ahahaha. Bukas na lang siguro yung iba. xD

Tick off sa list ang Boracay. Di ko talaga intention to go here this year but maybe, much needed vacay ko na rin to after unexpected turn of events. Unang dagat ko this year! 🌊🫶
Maaga pala kaming lumapag sa Caticlan, may mga stop over lang like transfer from Airport to port, then going to hotel na. Nakakanood pa kami muna (the Vow ni Nicholas Sparks) bago mag prep going to Beach at umawra.
Pagkauwi namin, nag compute na agad ng mga nag abono sa pamasahe man or food. ganto rin kami sa mga tropa pero samin isang bagsak lang HAHAHA pero sa kanila ha in fairness, fair kung fair. at mabilis din ang wifi kaya nakaka scroll pa ng socmed and airdrop ng pics.
Day 1 pa laaanngg

Boracay Island is well-known for its immaculate beaches and exciting nightlife. But beyond the popular tourist destinations is a side of Boracay that is just waiting to be explored; it's a rich tapestry of adventure, culture, and undiscovered jewels. White Beach, on the west coast, is surrounded by palm trees, bars, and restaurants. Bulabog Beach on the east coast is a popular water sports destination due to strong winds. Nearby, the observation deck on Mount Luho provides panoramic views of the island. Offshore, coral reefs, and shipwrecks support a rich range of marine life. The island is only composed of three barangays namely Balabag, Manoc-Manoc, and Yapak. Come along with me as we set off on an unforgettable voyage to discover Boracay Island's true essence, away from the tourists and cliches. How was our experience? Is it really that overrated?
Last summer of the year 2022, our family decided to fly and visit Boracay Island located Western Visayas region of the Philippines. After less than one hour up above the sky, we finally stepped afoot at Caticlan Airport. We then rode a tricycle for Php50 per head going to the Jetty Port. My dad then paid for everything at the counter— from environmental fees to transportation fees. After that, we found our seats on the ferry boat, and within a few minutes of waiting we set sail to the Island which took us less than 20 minutes. When I stepped off the boat, I was welcomed not by bustling crowds, but by the calm rustle of palm trees and the salty breeze of the sea. We then rode an E-trike going to our accommodation. There are several hotels (both high-end and low-cost) in Boracay; it all depends on your budget, but you can absolutely organize your trip to fit inside it. We only stayed for two days and three nights, which was quite brief, since my Dad had business to work on back in Manila. After we checked into our rooms and unpacked our belongings, we had a late lunch at one of the restaurants at Station 1. After dining, we went for a walk around the area and took some photos. Since we were only staying for a brief moment, we planned how we could savor each day and make memories. For our first day, we walk and walk and walk to explore the shoreline of the island. The vista was truly soothing and breath-taking. After our stroll, we return to our hotel to recover. In the evening, we opted to eat dinner at Gerry's Grill, located in Station 1. After dinner, we relaxed at the beach and played on the sand. We also decided to take a sip at the infamous bar restaurant Epic— which was a blast! After that, we decided to sleep and rest because tomorrow would be a long day. On day two, we decided to go island hopping and participate in some water sports. We decided to book a tour guide and as early as 8:00 AM we started island hopping. We were able to visit all the beaches on the Island! Each beach on the island has its distinct appeal and attraction, from the busy shoreline of White Beach to the quiet coves and immaculate sands of Puka Shell Beach. As you moved from one beach to the next, you were rewarded with stunning views of turquoise oceans, craggy cliffs, and swaying palm trees. Each stop along the trip provided us with the option to participate in a range of water sports and activities. There were plenty of amazing adventures to be had, whether snorkeling among colorful coral reefs, kayaking around quiet lagoons, or paddle boarding in the mild surf. Throughout the day, our tour guide provided intriguing insights about the island's history, culture, and natural beauty, complementing our trip with local knowledge and stories. Leaving the tourist-packed White Beach, we arrive at Puka Shell Beach, a peaceful length of golden sand noted for its profusion of natural treasures. With each step, I collected tiny puka shells, admiring the island's raw beauty. But the island that really had me was the Magic Island. This is because, I was able to do

a place where the sand meets the vibrant sunsets, Boracay, Philippines! It’s reputation as the world’s renowned travel destination has been given due to its ability to draw tourists, and visitors all around the world. Boracay offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. It even includes water activities such as snorkeling, parasailing, diving, banana boating and many more. The culture of boracay is also interesting as they have their own style of dressing and the women of their city loves jewelry. They also believe that peace is a success.
Of course, going there will take up some time. It is an island that is accessible by boat and by airplane. Upon arriving, a short transfer to the Caticlan Jetty port to ride a boat to boracay island. When arrived at the island, there will be a mixture of different feelings all at the same time. When people arrive in Boracay and see the beautiful sunset, friendly locals, and lively atmosphere, they usually feel really happy and excited.
The picture-perfect shores aren’t the only thing to look for here in Boracay! Each shells tells a story and each sand castles built creates a tapestry of meaningful memories. The sun’s warmth on the skin captivates all the senses!
Boracay is not only known for its beautiful sceneries. It is alao known for its water activities! Snorkeling in boracay is like entering a vibrant underwater world. This is indeed a snorkel paradise!
The local and dining cuisine of boracay is also a must-try! You can have fresh seafoods, chicken inasal which is a savory taste of barbecue, adobo that will give you an authentic taste of filipino dishes. All this at a beachfront restaurant while feeling the sand in between your toes. There are also many hidden spots in the island that hides delicious meals, it’s worth a journey and a little more walk.
The magic of boracay extends beyond its landscapes; its also in the connection you make with the locals. Interacting with its people brings new knowledge and experience, unlocking different insights and stories. A community that welcomes you with an open arms. The events and festivals mirrors the islands’ lively spirit. A journey through rhythms, musics, and vibrant parades.
The island never sleeps! The fun here never ends even when the island is covered by the darkness of the night, it is then lit up by the fire, lights and spirit of the nightlife here in Boracay. As the sun sets, the beach lights up with the laughter, burts of happiness and contagious energies. It’s a night full of evening memories and a night of unforgettable moments.
Staying at a cozy place was a home away from home. The room was comfy that made the night comfortable and each of my mornings were welcomed by its sunlight. The accommodations and the staffs welcomed us too with so much warmth making our stay super comfortable.
Reflecting on my boracay trip was truly overwhelming as it feels like i’m flipping through pages of my childhood. It wasn’t just a normal destination for me, but also a place wherein i once felt like the nature and the people are connected.

In April 2023, we planned to go to my father's family, which is close to Boracay. We seized the chance and decided that we also needed to go there and enjoy the moment. We make our hotel reservation as soon as possible.
The day of our vacation, the flight was delayed twice, but it was okay because the flight to Kalibo Aklan was only 45 minutes. After our takeoff, we just rode a tricycle, and we took a 2-hour bus ride to get to Caticlan. We also took a boat, which took about 10 minutes.
Boracay is one of the most well-known tourist spots in the world. It is famous for its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear water. The island is administered by the Philippine Tourism Authority and the provincial government of Aklan. There was an influx of Western tourists after German writer Jens Peter called it "paradise on earth."
Boracay has a variety of water sports activities, including parasailing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and many more. I wasn't able to do some kayak boarding when I was in Boracay because there was a typhoon and the waves were high, but I tried their hair braiding. The people who braided my hair and the people there were very kind, and the result of my braid was really good. They also give customers a discount.
There are many souvenir shops and restaurants in Boracay, from local to foreign. My most unforgettable experience there is the night market, where many people and foreigners can be seen having fun. There is also fire dancing and bars at night.
When you wake up in the morning, you will see the beautiful sun and the beautiful sea. It's really a different feeling, and you will really feel at peace. Boracay has amazing scenery, and the money and time we spent were not a waste. We are really satisfied and happy that we went to Boracay.

Dream Destination- Boracay
Noong 2018, itinuring itong "The Best Island in the World" ng mga magazine at travel websites.
Enjoy your trip!
