This was taken during #mass last Saturday when #Romo and the #congregate were #laughingtheirmindsout at my ‘perfect’ #bahasaindonesia, while i was #trembling ready to #scream #pass out and #runaway Those who have known me since #young would know about my #phobia of being the #MC, i #screwedup once during my #schooldays, and since then any form of #impromptu or #interaction with the #audience is a #bignono for me Since joining @jp2youth however, my #comfortzone is always being #pushed. (Mainly because i am terrified of @huangass and @mercyset is an #amazing #convincer lol. <3) Even though BahasaIndonesia really isn’t my #forte, i was #entrusted to do things like making the prayers for mass or leading the opening and #closingprayer and now BEING THE #MC for the upcoming #retreat. Luckily, i am #blessed with the #best #committee #team i can #dream of. For always being #encouraging instead of #repremainding, for #trusting me and #believing that i can do the job even though i do not #believe in myself and for just giving me #chance after chance to #grow and #learn, i cannot be anymore #grateful or thankful My point is that, we are always #blaming #god when things go #wrong or #awry but do we #thankgod for every single #goodthing that happens to us? Always remember that even in the #badtimes, there is always #somethinggood happening, there is #alwayssomething to be #thankful for Let us place God before our #selfish #wants #greed and #desires, let us learn how to #giveback to God for all the #blessings that he has #graced us with. This #weekend, i will be #cowering in #fear #anxiety and #stress as i try to #bethebest i can for God. I went on a retreat this past weekend with other CathSoc members to Worth Abbey, which is a monastery in West Sussex and I must say what an experience it was. I so grateful to Fr. Mark for inviting me and of course to Fr. James and Fr. Rod for making it a memorable trip.

p.s: can I also use this opportunity to get you guys to subscribe to my YouTube channel (I had to make a new one because i forgot the details for the other one :( anyway, all hope is not lost because I managed to keep the same name and layout but I need a minimum of 500 subscribers in order to have a custom url – and people ask why I hate the Google-YouTube partnership.)
