In its icy, black depths dwell strange and twisted creatures it is best not to disturb.” -Sue Grafton When I’m sick and in pain (which is just so happens I currently am) I’ve noticed that my artwork begins to get a little dark & twisted. Crochet monsters develop fangs, knit caterpillars have demon red eyes, and overall my fiber art begins to look like something from a Tim Burton film. I don’t want to smile right now and it’s clear my monsters don’t want to either. That being said, even though many of these angsty critters have scowls (or crazy demon eyes) I promise you they still love to be played with and I encourage petting their fun fur when you see them out and about.
