The weather in the garden was usually quite fair, but every now and then, the skies grew dark and rain poured down from the heavens. This was particularly common in the jungle, since the plants needed water. Soraka didn't mind though. She casually strolled through the rain, enjoying the water against her bare skin. She didn't expect to encounter anyone else here, figuring most would take shelter... But then she noted something strange: a peculiar bulb in the foliage. "Hmm? I don't think I've ever seen this plant before..."

Me: just casually making a cute comedic AU with Tahm Kench being Jinx's cool uncle and being playfully teased by Soraka for actually having a nice side

Also me: but what if I made a one-shot where Jinx dies – either of old age or in battle or what have you, her life is dangerous – and Tahm Kench has to come to terms with her frailty and mortality and with the fact that he, as a demon, should have known that it would happen and sting like heck but she was so nice and fun and made him happier too, and Soraka offers to listen and he's like no I don't need empathy begone at once ok no maybe I need it pls come back I am literally losing my appetite for grief UGH WHY DO EMOTIONS HAVE TO HURT SORAKA?

The Warp does not have storms.

For an existence of nothingness however, it contained a lot of other things - mostly things that disliked each other, like matter and anti-matter, ambitions and dreams and the cold truth of entropy, or Khorne berserkers and psychotherapy. But no matter the details, they all made up the same unholy contradictory soup entire civilications built their infrastructureon, all trusting on in the faint hope that they could control it. A foolish belief, for if the Warp was actually possible to control, it would not be the Warp at all. Those fading and flickering spots some irrational optimists called transit-routes or calm glades in a forest of madness were just bubbles rising into a stormy autuum sky, very much the exception and not the norm, and to be popped at the will of any sufficiently powerful individual who wished to do so.

Understanding this on an elemental level, Soraka was always surprised to find mortals distressed in a storm. Did they not enter the Immaterium willingly? Did they not hope to ride on its tides through space and time? And now that the Great Ocean was about to carry them farther and later or earlyer than they could ever have hoped, how could they cower in fear and terror? Of course, mortals in general were notoriously uncertain about what they wanted, that's how it had been since ancient times. However, to access this Sea of Chaos, one would have to go through a lot of very complicated and deliberate steps, so the thought that someone would be terrified of the true nature of something that they spent so much energy to dive into was quite confusing to the one those in other realms would call "The Starchild"

And yet, here they were, tiny specks of negative entropy, little bubbles of terror, agony, and sometimes delight pushing themselves against the natures of the universes. Of course, realistically speaking, they stood no chance against tsuch forces, and every time they survived it was more a matter of luck than individual skill or durability, even if those unfortunate or ignorant souls believed otherwise. Soraka couldn't help herself but to find them strangely adorable, their seemingly pointless struggle reminding her much of her own.

So when she called night on her ship, and let her body drift into the debonair embrace of zero-gravity-sleep, the being once born from the aether let her soul wander. Moments of serenity, glimpses of tranquility, visions of peace - all those Soraka gathers and collects. She finds the paths towards them and learns to evoke them, a fragile phantom, a fading echo, to be invoked only once before it fades into the maelstrom of inexistence.

Soraka rarely pays attention to those she shares her collection with, but this night a soul by the name of Zorael stood out to her. How or why, she could not tell, maybe it was a whim of fancy or the hands of fate playing their part, but the Starchild reached into the treasury that was her mind and invoked the path towards a serene sanctum, an endless field of lush red and purple vegetation embraced by golden sunlight streching beyond the horizonts. Lazy streams crossing through the scene, and a careful wind gently rustling the leaves and every blade of grass. A realm of peace and tranquility, a singular eye of the everlasting storm that was the Warp. One could not be sure how much time had passed in this vision so different from the storm surrounding it. Seconds, hours, years, or even centuries? When faring beyond the realms of casuality and logic, time was little more than a suggestion among many.

And yet, when it faded, there was no sadness to it. It existed, it perished, and its depature was something good, for it made room for something new before it could linger and fester into something truly hideous. Peace might be a temporary reprise, but eternal peace meant eternal stagnation, leading to eternal conflict. It was not meant to last, and one can only wish that this small reprise would help a poor soul brace for the rest of the storm that was to come.

The warp does not have storms, only momentary glimpses of peace and tranqulity disrupting the everyday insanity. But there is also someome who savors such rare moments, and she is quite willing to share - for peace is quite boring when you are alone.

Casual Star Guardian Soraka by Tuane Kluck

It had been a day since Ben arrived in the Garden. Soraka had welcomed him the previous evening, and now, after a quick breakfast, the starchild guided him to the heart of the jungle. There, Titania waited on an elevated throne, in a grove filled with people having casual sex. The faerie goddess looked down and smiled. “Oh my... So this is the sudden newcomer, hmm?”

sleeping routine .

soraka’s sleeping habits vary alot depending on where she is , but when she’s back in her home in targon she really takes her time with enjoying it. her nightly routine starts at the start of sunset , when soraka unties her hair & lets it fall to reach her knees as she brushes away the tangles & brews herself a warm cup of tea to watch the sunset with . as the stars begin to appear in the sky , she often takes little moonbaths in the small little pond beside her home & then dresses for the evening with a a thick knitted shawl & a pretty nightdress made from sheer fabric from ionia . once nightfall truly hits , soraka meditates at her favourite rock formation & communes to the heavens as well as watches for anyone who happens to be climbing targon . 

ever so often , there are those who dare to scale the mountain to reach it’s peak & for centuries soraka has tried to sway those she knows will inevitably meet their fate in the process because of how targon itself works in choosing individuals seeking divinity . 

once midnight comes soraka finally comes back inside her home , she lights a fire in her hearth , plays a bit of flute for herself or any guest she’s had that evening  . after all is said & done , she  takes a book then climbs into bed , reading & casually braiding her hair until the early hours of the morning when eventually falls asleep with a starling by her side .

I don’t have any OCs I’ve designed with vore in mind, just a few who are strictly non-vore. But I do have a few ideas for some that I may or may not flesh out in the future.

😛 - Any fictional character(s) that you imagine as prey? Would you eat them?

I don’t have any characters I specifically imagine as prey only, but there are a lot that I consider more prey than pred, like Lux and Janna. As for characters I would eat? There are a lot of characters I would eat, though mostly if they either reformed after I digested them, or I could just keep them inside myself safely. Though still against their will, because that’s what makes it fun~

😳 - Any fictional character(s) that you imagine as preds? Would you let them eat you?

 Jinx, Vi, and Soraka are three characters that I see as mostly preds, especially Vi. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy seeing them as prey every now and then, but I definitely prefer them as preds. Jinx I would almost definitely let eat me, Vi I would consider, but I probably wouldn’t say yes to Soraka. It depends how safe it would be for me to say yes to any of them. Plus, y’know, I also like being the unwilling prey~

🤤 - What are the characteristics (physical, personality, etc) you enjoy in preds? What do you dislike?

This tends to change sometimes, but most of the time, I really, really enjoy confident and playful preds. The kind that tease their prey, poke fun at them, and mess with them in various ways, making light of the fact they were eaten. Most people assume that mean spirited mocking is the same thing, but it’s not, not to me at least. I dislike it when preds are just mean to the prey to make them feel bad, but really enjoy it when the pred is teasing the prey for their own entertainment. Physically I like a few pred types, though one of my favorites is a fit pred, not muscular per se, but toned muscles and fairly strong. Especially if they have toned abs.

😙 - What are the characteristics (physical, personality, etc) you enjoy in prey? What do you dislike?

For prey, I love the nervous, flustered type. The kind who kind of struggles to grasp the fact they’ve been eaten, and are kind of dumbfounded by a pred’s casual nature about it. They struggle and are really afraid, but it’s not quite mortal terror. I dislike it when a prey is screaming for their life, crying and sobbing, that kind of thing. It feels unnecessarily mean. I think prey are usually best when whining to be let out, like they’re sad about being bullied, and they’re pushing and squirming in the stomach like it’s really uncomfortable and kind of worrying, as opposed to fighting for their lives.
