Imo the best ending to Supernatural would have been to just stop with them alive on a random hunt or them finding jobs and living the life they just wanted or whatever.

And then the story just fucking STOP, because Chuck is not here anymore, so they are no longer part of a story they are finally free. And we could still write and read fanfic about how they live after they won.

I’m think about 11x4 and the Werepire scene. Like that was legitimately so cute and sweet. Them both just sitting the there chatting about tv shows and what the monster could be and then even when Dean gets out several times and leaves, Cas still always stays on the phone and is still true when Dean comes back

Dean Winchester's demise is something so personal to me bc what do you mean dean, ever since he knew how to speak, never had a thing to call his own, dad's Impala, dad's jacket, and then he couldn't call Sammy his belonging, his possession. His, could he. and then universe gave him the angel of Thursday, who was taught to love and live by observing dean, bc what do you mean Castiel angel of the lord's first priority was always dean dean dean. And dean finally had something to call his own. His best friend. His protector. He had Cas for his taking every time and Cas, always ready to give to dean dean dean. Bc what do you mean this angel told dean how much of a loving and selfless and worthy man he was and left him to save him, with nothing, sobbing
