The day Henry and Jacinda met in Hyperion Heights would have been their 11th wedding anniversary had they not been cursed. When Regina united the realms and reset the timeline to August 2033, Henry and Ella got a second chance at their 11th anniversary. They thought of doing a vow renewal, but they decided not to. All they wanted was to be together.

Their 12th anniversary rolled around and they didn't do a vow renewal then either. Ella was pregnant with Isabel and there was just so much going on getting ready for a new baby. Not to mention, Ella was helping Tiana plan her wedding to Naveen. Ella did walk down the aisle that year. She just did it as Tiana's matron of honor.

When their 13th anniversary came around, Henry and Ella were in the process of officially adopting Klara. They thought focusing on giving the 6 year old a good home was more important. Also, Isabel was 6 months old and her parents wanted to wait until she was a little bit older, so that she could be part of the ceremony.

Finally, for their 14th anniversary, Ella and Henry had their vow renewal. And it was worth the wait. They had been through so much in the last three years. Their family had grown, they'd been through therapy and their marriage was stronger than ever. Snow and Marian helped Ella plan a beautiful ceremony and reception. Tiana was Ella's matron of honor. Drizella, Alice, and Robin were bridesmaids. Naveen was Henry's best man. Jones and Roland were groomsmen and Gretel a groomswoman. (Go ahead and take a moment to appreciate the image of Gretel in a tux. You're welcome.) Cecelia got to walk Ella down the aisle. Klara (7) and Isabel (18 months) were flower girls. Lucy was 13 and a little too old to be a flower girl, but she still got to walk down the aisle by helping her youngest sister. Even Neal Cassidy was there. Regina had used a spell to summon his spirit, so that he could be there for the day. She'd used the same spell a few years ago so that Robin Sr. could be their on Alice and Robin's wedding day. Henry and Ella's 14th wedding anniversary was certainly a day they wouldn't forget.

Confessions headcanons

1. Neal Cassidy was Regina’s sperm donor. Henry and Bryony never go looking for him, it’s just what I picture in my mind. (And she doesn’t know this either, since it was anonymous, obviously.)

2. Bryony’s middle name, Kate, comes from Robin’s own mother.

3. Robin originally was going to name Bryony, Isabelle, which was the name that Marian had picked out for Roland if he had been a girl but he thought it might be too weird considering Bryony wasn’t her child.

4. Regina’s event planning business does quite well and she’s been offered to join bigger businesses to specifically plan their events but she never wanted to leave Storybrooke for them.

5. Mal secretly thinks that Regina and Robin getting married isn’t the best idea. She thinks it’s going to end in failure and heartbreak on Regina’s end. As a result, Robin thinks Mal doesn’t like him, but she’s just trying to protect her best friend’s heart because she was there for her after Daniel died, so she’s not always the nicest around him.

6. The letter being sent to Regina years later wasn’t an accident. Cora had written it when she was sick but then changed her mind on sending it. Her lawyer, Gold, however, found out that she had screwed over his son and sent it out as his own way of getting revenge on Cora, even after death. It was his way of having the last word
