Could you please do a hc of any of the wrestlers you write for reacting to their so telling them they are Pregnant please?
AEW Wrestlers Pregnancy Headcanons
Aew wrestlers reacting to you telling them you are pregnant with there child
Wrestlers Mentioned: Billy Gunn, Cash Wheeler, CM Punk, David Finlay, MJF
Main Masterlist Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Tumblr media
Billy Gunn
When you told Billy you were pregnant he was shocked
He coudn't believe that he would be a father again when his two sons were in there late 20s-early 30s
He was scared but exited
Sure it was a suprise but what was he expecting
Sure he was older but having a younger girlfriend with high fertility could allow for something like this to happen
When he told his sons the news they didn't know what to think, they could have children themselves, how would you feel if your sibling had a 30 year age gap.
During your pregnancy Billy would spoil you, protecting you from the media, not wanting the negitive publicity cause stress to you and your baby
Billy promised he would be there for every ounce of your pregnancy and he was a saint
Cash Wheeler
When Cash found out you were pregnant he was beyond exited
He coudn't wait to share the news with his best friend Dax
Cash spent years looking up to the relationship with Dax and his wife, he always wanted to have children of his own
Being a first time dad Cash wanted to make sure everything was perfect, he read every book, he took an online course, he wanted to be the perfect dad
Cash would spoil your uborn child, he would bring home souvenears from every city he visited
He insisted on building everything himself, he built a beautful nursery
Cash would be the best father, he would love your child so much
The two of them would grow up to be best friends
CM PUNK
For some reason I feel like CM Punk would either be so supportive or would leave, no in between
CM Punk is the type to have a controversaly young girlfriend who he would eventualy leave for a younger girl (Don't get me wrong I love Punk I'm feeling this vibe rn)
The reason why CM Punk doesn't have kids at 45 isn't because of the multiple unstable relationships he has had. It's because he is scared of the idea of having kids, scared of the responsibility
When you told Punk you were pregnant he said nothing, he just held you as you cried.
You were scared and he was terrfied
He knew he would be a bad dad, he didn't want the responsibility of taking care of a human life
One day you woke up and he wasn't next to you
You looked around your shared appartment to see all of his things gone, the only think left was a note that read "I'm sorry" that was placed next to a waud of cash.
David Finlay
After being friends with bennfits with David Finlay you would fall pregnant
It was a shock, you had no idea how David would react
When you told David he was just as shocked as you were
It took him a while to even form words but when he did they were nothing but words of support
He wanted to support you, he was onboard with whatever you wanted to do, after all it was your body
He was exatic when he found out you wanted to keep your baby
He coudn't wait to be a dad
Some of the other members of Bullet Club teased him for it but he didn't care
David Finlay was made to be a father, he is such a daddy
He would protect you and your son, he would do ANYTHING to keep you safe, even ......murder
Maxwell Jacob Friedman
When you told Max you were pregnat he almost fainted
Sure he wanted kids but not now
The first thing he thought of was leaving, it was a coward move but he was scared
He booked a weekend trip claiming it was for work and left for a few days to compose himself
When he returned it was like he was a diffrent man
He became exited, he would buy matching burberry outfits for him and your future child
Max would marry you immediately and promise to be there through it all and he was
Max would spoil your child with expensive things and designer clothing
He would end up being a great father
An: I hope you enjoyed it!

he could not keep his eyes off of you
admiring the gorgeous yellow sundress you wore it was his favourite
the dress long and flowy, decorated with little pastel pink flowers throughout, the sleeves short and ruched same as the bust,
a slit down the side, not enough to expose anything but enough to get his imagination to run wild
a gulp grew thick in his throat, trying to not seem as intoxicated by your beauty as he would have liked to have shown.
he saw you with your niece across the yard, that natural maternal instinct running through you as she came crying to you
unknown as to why, he watched on as you consoled the little girl, planting a gentle kiss to her forehead, followed by a warm embrace
the act made daniel’s heart swell with adoration, a small smile forming across his lips
“you look so damn good in that dress, you know that” his voice deep and sultry, his arm wrapping around your waist, pulling you close, subtly grinding against your hip
his lips gently grazed the skin of your neck peppering small kisses to the flesh
“i know” you respond back in a flirty tone, it only fuels daniel’s desire
“y’know…” he began trailing off in thought for a moment.
“you look even better with it off, darlin’”
he moaned softly against your neck, his kisses more feverish than the last
“god…” he groaned, feeling himself grow hard against your hip “if i could take you right here, i would…”
as much as you enjoyed that sentiment. you would happily obliged if you were not surround by relatives
“daniel…we can’t…not now…”
you tried desperately to hold back a moan, his lips trailing down to your collarbone
he could tell you were enjoying yourself.
“come with me” he whispered, taking you by the wrist, dragging you back inside
the backyard had grown pretty crowded for his liking.
he dragged you to the bathroom, being the nearest room
quickly locking the door behind you. your back now pressed against it.
he did not hesitate to attack you with a flurry of kisses once more
his movements feverish, prying up the skirt of your dress until your panties were in view
“d-daniel…” you stuttered through a moan, the pads of his fingers tracing delicate shapes against your clit through the fabric
“shhh baby…don’t want to get caught now do we?”
you shook your head in response, shuddering as his fingers pressed harder against your clit
“gonna be a good girl for me and keep quiet?”
“y-yes daddy…” you stammered
he hummed softly with contentment, planting a sweet kiss to your lips.
“you look so fuckin’ good…makes me wanna put a baby in you”
daniel’s hand smoothed across your stomach, caressing it.
“you pulled him close, arms wrapping around his neck
“well what are you waiting for?” you retorted playfully, leaning in to plaster chaste kisses to his jawline
he tugged your panties to the side, without warning, flipping you around.
your head pressed against the bathroom door, pretty ass sticking out for him to gain some leverage
he slipped into you with ease, your cunt drenched from his constant pursuit of you
“oh god…you feel so good princess”
your hips bucked against his even before he started moving, just letting you grind against his cock as he gathered his baring.
he wrapped a hand around your mouth to dampen your moans, the reverb of the bathroom created a heavenly sound.
he delivered a particularly harsh thrust to begin with, a small squeak of pleasure left your lips
“be quiet, princess…” he reminded, to which you made futile attempts to silence yourself.
“gonna fuck a baby into you darlin’” he began, trailing off into his own thoughts, proclaiming them out loud
“you’d look even more beautiful with you belly full of my seed…fuck-“ he grunted, pausing stern the sentence to catch his breath
*you’d be the perfect mother, sweetheart…our kids will be lucky to have you”
he pulled you back against his chest, kissing you with such an intensity and passion that was not uncommon in your little endeavours
but this…it felt so much more intimate
“i love you…” you muttered against his lips
“i want nothing more…”
he increased the speed of his thrusts, enjoying the sounds of your muffled moans against his palm
how they grew increasingly louder and more desperate
“shhh princess…” he reminded, hearing the chatter of your relatives from outside
he could feel his pace faltering, his end nearing
he held you close by the waist, filling you up without warning
continuing to fuck you through his orgasm until you spilled over.
“god…i love you…” he panted, admiring the way you gushed around him. how his cum was dripping out of your void
you merely hummed contently. mind far too fucked out to even create a response.
he pulled out of you, fixing your panties, much to your dismay,
smoothing down the stray strings of hair that cling to your face with perspiration
“we should probably get back out there before your family gets suspicious” he chuckled nervously
“yeah we should…” you replied with the same on edge tone, quickly fixing the skirt of your dress to seem more presentable
“hey daniel…?” you questioned. he merely peered up at you with a gentle gaze
“round two in the car when we leave?”

Baby I'm not alright, but I'm okay (Part 2)
Cash Wheeler x f reader
Tumblr media
Previous chapter
"Her name is y/n" he said with a sigh. "Don't make me regret it." - said David.
"I'll try," Dan thought to himself, and went back into the house, where it was already getting hot.
Tumblr media
As the times went by people began to slowly leave the hospitable Harwood house.
During the evening y/n had time to meet a few new people. One of them introduced himself to her as Phillip. Most of their conversation, if you could call it that, was about himself and what he thought was right. Generally, the girl doesn't mind that sort of thing, but this particular guy crossed the line between interesting storytelling and nerdiness. Most of the time y/n just made a very interested look and nodded in the right places. He didn't seem to need anything else. He talked and talked and talked. He couldn't stop. At one point, it even felt like he hadn't been able to express what he was thinking to anyone for a long time and so he was saying all this y/n. From time to time, he touched either the girl's shoulder or her arm, but her body's reaction was scalding and very unpleasant goosebumps running from the point of touch all over her body. Phill, he himself had asked to be addressed that way, didn't seem to notice it, or didn't want to notice it.
As for y/n herself, she reasoned that it was better to have this kind of company than to stand around the bar all night alone or annoying her best friend. Occasionally she felt someone's eyes on her, but looking around she couldn't find who was looking at her. Scanning the crowd over Phillip's shoulder to amuse herself in some way, y/n saw the familiar profile of a good-looking guy she'd met just inside the doorway of the house.
To be honest, this guy was totally not her type. He seemed to be too easygoing, flirted a lot with different girls, was often the center of attention. Basically, doing all sorts of things that y/n herself would never do.
"What do you think?" for the first time that evening, Phillip asked the girl's opinion on something.
Y/n was a little confused, because while she was looking at the guy in the center of circle of girls, she had completely stopped listening to what Phill was saying.
What saved y/n from an uncomfortable situation was the phone vibrating in her pocket. The screen lit up with "Captain Kirby".
"Sorry, I have a work call. It was nice chatting" apologized the girl with a polite smile and walked through the people to the exit to the backyard.
Tumblr media
"Yes, Captain, I got it. I'll be there. Have a good night" the girl closed her eyes, pressed the end call button and tucked her phone back into her pocket.
"Nuisance call?"
A male voice from behind made y/n jump. She hadn't heard the door to the backyard open or the footsteps behind her.
"Just a work call. Boss called to give an assignment for tomorrow" she turned to face the man who came out and smiled friendly "I'm y/n, by the way. We met when you were out on the street."
"Daniel. Nice to meet you. Saw you bored at the bar until Phill kept you company."
"Yeah... Kind of... And no, I wasn't bored, I just prefer to keep people entertained and I hardly know anyone here except the owners or Phillip" the girl tried to justify herself.
"Well, now you know me too.  And I'd love to keep you company, so you don't get bored." Daniel did his best to be charming and make the girl feel comfortable.
"Oh, don't be, I'll be leaving soon. Got some work tomorrow" tried to refuse the man y/n as gently as possible.
"By the way, what’s your job and how do you know the hosts?" decided Wheeler inquired. David had mentioned that she was Maria's best friend and a friend of Harwood himself, but Wheeler hadn't met her before. Not at parties or at the shows Harwood sometimes invited his friends to. Or he hadn't noticed.
"I work as a police patrolman. David is an acquaintance of my brother's, and we met a long time ago when I stopped by my brother's house. With Maria, we hit it off quickly and got along. What about you? Are you a friend of David's? I thought he mentioned a friend of his named Dan. Wait a minute... That's your portrait on the wooden artwork on the wall next to the bar. You must be that 'friend from work'."
Dan grinned "Yes, I guess it's me. I hope David only said nice things about me." Wheeler rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Y/n for some reason made him a little nervous and feel less confident. He definitely likes her. Quite beautiful in appearance, but also very modest and closed off for some reason. Harwood had mentioned earlier that she'd had a rough time lately and maybe that had affected her, Daniel supposed. "You look beautiful, by the way."
The compliment made the girl's face redden, "Thanks. Yeah, sure, just the good stuff. Blood brother and that kind of thing.” She fell silent and hesitated a little “I'm sorry, but I really have to go. Maybe I'll see you somewhere else, Daniel. Have a good night" began the y/n already saying goodbye.
"Wait, give me your phone number? I'll text you tomorrow and maybe we can go out" tried Wheeler and already pulled out his phone, because usually girls gave him their number without much thought.
"Sorry, but no. I have a lot of work and not much free time" again, not for the first time during the evening, y/n felt ashamed for refusing someone, but that's how he thought it would be better, well, or at least at least honest enough. Not to give false hope.
She smiled sweetly at the man one last time and turned around to leave.
Wheeler was amazed at how quickly their conversation ended. Almost every time he left a party either with a girl, or at least a dozen new numbers in his phone of girls who were always willing to keep him company. But not this time. Yes, he had a few phone numbers added to his phone this evening, but this kind of rejection crossed everything. Still in mild surprise, he slowly put the phone in his jeans pocket and hummed. "Looks like an interesting quest. And I'm going to go on it" he thought and went back to the party. He couldn't remember the rest of the evening the next day.
Tumblr media
As y/n drove home, the moments of the past party were replaying in her head. And often, it was the last conversation that replayed in her head. In person, Daniel seemed a little different to her, not like he was around the other people at the party. Yes, he was still trying to flirt with her, but he wasn't being too forward. And, unlike Phillip, he wasn't trying to convince her of anything or talk only about himself. I wondered when the real Daniel had been.
Y/n pulled her phone out of her pocket and decided to google her friend. She doesn’t know his last name, but she knew he worked with David, so it was through him that she had to search.
"Cash Wheeler, hah. Current IWGP, AAA and ROH Tag Team Champion alongside with Dax Harwood. Interesting" she thought. There were quite a few pictures on Wheeler's Instagram with blood, lot of photos from backstage, with David, and many other people. A couple of times there were even photos with Phillip with some strange caption under it. Wheeler was smiling in many of them, but he looked rather arrogant. There were also some photos with people she was once shown by her older brother, who was a big fan of wrestling, including Japanese wrestling. Last year, Daniel even posted a picture of him apparently messing up a football field in Jacksonville, Florida with friends. On Twitter, Wheeler was constantly getting into conflicts with fans. Y/n snorted unhappily at what she saw in front of her. Arrogant, testy, scandalous and clearly loves to grab the attention of the people around him. Gross.
She had read a couple articles and she thought Daniel was a much more interesting and more serious person than he showed himself to others. But maybe he's trying to create a nicer public image of himself this way. Y/n had no way of knowing when Daniel was showing his true colors.

You terrify me
‘Cause you’re a man, you’re not a boy
You got some power
And I can’t treat you like a toy
You’re the road less
Travelled by a little girl…
“I’m sorry” Was probably a phrase Daniel was tired of hearing already. The sight of her on her knees, crying and begging him to not leave her while her closed fists tugged on his shirt became part of his routine after a day or so back at home.
She always managed to pick up a fight for no reason at all whenever he was home. It was confusing - to say the least. She used to cry whenever he spent too much time away on the road, claiming that she couldn’t handle not having him around anymore and when he finally got home, they would have a day or so of peace before she turned into this obnoxious creature that seemed to despise having him around.
It was becoming draining living like this, and truth be told, Daniel doesn’t know for how long he’ll put up with this.
“Get off the floor, nuggy” He gave a soft tug on her wrists, encouraging her to stand up.
Heavy, clear tears rolled down her cheeks, her eyes were swollen from crying and her lips were slightly puffy from her constantly biting down the plump flesh. “No! Not until you tell me we’re ok! I’m sorry, Dan. Please forgive me, I- I didn’t mean to, please”.
…Give me all you got, give me your wallet and your watch
Give me your first-born, give me the rainbow and the…
This time, their fight happened because he apparently bought the wrong peanut butter. Which both knew it was a lie since he bought the same brand they always buy and the very same peanut butter she was eating before he went grocery shopping. This was again, her trying to pick up a fight for no reason at all. Only this time, things got extra heated when she tossed a porcelain plate at him and Daniel called her a “fucking lunatic”.
“Get up and let’s talk about it like grown ups, please” He sighed
“No” She vehemently shook her head as she looked up at him with pleading eyes “Dan, please”
“Stop acting like a child and get off the fucking floor for Christ’s sake!” His hands closed around her elbows and abruptly pulled her up on her feet. She struggled to keep balance when his hands let go of her arms, and she found herself almost falling down to her knees again.
“Dan-“ She tried to reach for him, but his hand stopped her before she could get closer “Don’t, just…Stay there, please”
…And I've never played a fair game
I've always had the upper hand
But what good is intellect and airplay
If I can't respect any man
Yeah, I want to play a fair game…
Her arms wrapped around her waist, almost as if closing herself into a shield to protect her heart from the words that were about to come out of Daniel’s mouth.
“I try, you know?” His voice bore a familiar tone of sadness she had quickly got accustomed to. “I try to be understanding, I try to do my best to keep this relationship going, I try to not let my love for you die but it’s getting hard, nuggy”. His deep sigh made her eyes shift down to the floor, where she kept staring at her feet like a child who was being scolded by her father. “What’s supposed to be light and sunny is slowly becoming heavy and gloomy. That’s not how love’s supposed to be lived, that’s not how it should make you feel”
“I’m sorry”
“Stop apologizing, it won’t do anything…it never does, nuggy. We’re always apologizing then a few hours later we’re into the same shit all over again, it’s like a toxic, vicious cycle” Daniel ran his fingers through his short, soft hair before he sat down on the couch.
…You got too close and I pushed and pushed hoping you'd bite
So, I could run, run and that I did but through the dust…
“Please don’t give up on me” Her irises gleamed with hope underneath the large tears that threatened to fall at any minute now “Please, Dan. I love you! I love you so much, but I’m scared of it”
“Scared of love?”
“Yes, I…I’ve never felt like this before. Like I’m at the mercy of someone else. As if they held my heart and well-being, not me. I’m scared, frightened. I panic at the mere thought of having my life crushed over a feeling…a feeling that I can’t even deal with! I’m scared of the power you have over me, so my brain tells me to end this before I become a hostage of my feelings for you. Then I freak out, and in an attempt of preserving myself from a possible heartbreak I just fuck everything up and end up hurting both of us. I-“
…So, go and challenge me, take the reigns and see
Watch me squirm baby, but you are just what I need…
“I don’t want to be like this, Dan. But I am. I’m lost, I’m upset with myself and I’m tired of not knowing what to do. I just…I just want to be happy with you but I don’t know how” This time her knees did gave in beneath her. She felt herself falling down, but before she could do so, a pair of arms pulled her down to the floor.
Daniel was now sitting on top of the rug, and he adjusted his position so that she could sit on his lap. Her gaze met his behind her tears “Please, Dan. Help me to not destroy this. Please don’t let me ruin us”.
Her heart was made of pure gold, something Daniel always commented on but she never took his word for it. She always wanted to be the knight, never the princess to be rescued. Always the cold, never the comfort.
But if she only knew that the main reason why people love her is her pure heart, she would deny it in a heartbeat. Because for some strange reason, she never managed to see good in herself, even though that’s all she was made of.
…I want to play a fair game…
“You’re so used to using rocks to build your tower that you didn’t even realize you already turned it into a huge castle” Daniel kissed the back of her hand before he cupped her cheek “I have no intentions of destroying your castle, nuggy. I just want to live in it with you and help you decorate it a little bit” His smile was warm and comforting as he smudged up her tears with his thumb.
Her forehead came to rest against his, and she laid a chaste kiss on his lips, quickly nodding in response to Daniel’s unspoken question.
“We can even build some new windows to let more sunlight into our castle, what do you say, nuggy?”
“With you, I’m willing to try anything”

Walk Funny (Cash Wheeler x Reader x Dax Harwood)
Warnings: smut, 18+ only, threesome, descriptive sexual acts
A/N:  So this is it. My first and probably last threesome. I dedicate this to @springgirlwaiting4fall and @im-just-a-mississippi-girl. You are the best. I apologize, this turned out to be a 4.4k word monster. I hope you will enjoy this at least a little bit. Not proofread.
Tumblr media
You watched in awe when your boys beat both Roppongi Vice and United Empire to win the IWGP tag team championship and became 7 Star FTR. They deserved this more than anyone else. Finally, the years of training and all the hard work they put in to be the best tag team in the world paid off. As they made their way to the back, everyone at the Gorilla position clapped and congratulated them. You smiled to yourself when they got the praise they earned and needed, from both their boss as well as their fellow wrestlers. For a brief moment, Cash's eyes met yours, and he smiled brightly at you. You applauded him and then looked over to Dax, who also grinned in your direction. You returned the smile and patted your left shoulder, silently asking him if he was okay. He meekly nodded as a response before their focus was taken away from you. They still had a lot of work to do, so you patiently waited backstage for them. You secretly hoped you would celebrate their win at the hotel once they were finished. So you sat there, scrolling through twitter and instagram to see the reactions of tonight's events, all while you remembered the first time the three of you had your special celebration...or well, the little you could recall of it.
To be honest, the whole night was one big blur to you...and Dax. The only one to know what had happened was Cash, because unlike you, he hadn't been wasted that night. When you woke up in the morning, completely naked in between your two friends, who were just as bare as you, you freaked out, trying to wiggle your way out of their embrace. In doing so, you woke both of them, which resulted in a just as freaked out Dax who tried his hardest to cover him up as fast as possible, and a clearly amused Cash. "You two don't remember a damn thing, do ya?" He chuckled. Dax shook his head while you just stared at the younger man, waiting for an explanation. "Well, Y/N, you and Dax had a little too much to drink last night, and you let it slip that you wanted to have sex with us. Both of us. At the same time. Then Mr. Harwood over here liked the idea so much that he basically dragged the two of us out of the bar, to his hotel room." Cash looked between Dax and you, and after a short pause that seemed like an eternity to you, added. "And then we had sex." Your eyes grew big in shock, and you shivered, finally realizing you sat on the bed with everything on display for the two men in front of you. You hastily grabbed the blanket to cover yourself, and as a result exposed Cash and Dax to your eyes. No matter how hard you tried to avoid staring at their most private parts, you couldn't. Your eyes roamed all over their bodies and before you even realized it, you spoke. "Was...was it any good?" A thunderous laughter left Cash's mouth and bounced off the walls of the hotel room as he stood up from the bed, completely unashamed of his nudity. "It was fucking fantastic", he replied, pressing a sweet kiss on your cheek. "We should do it again sometime."
And you did. Every time there was a cause for celebration, the three of you ended the nights wrapped around each other's bodies. And Cash was right: it was fantastic. Soon, there didn't need to be a reason for you to use as an excuse to make love to these two, you just enjoyed yourselves whenever you felt like it. And tonight would not be any different...
So when the two men finally made their way over to you, bags slung over their shoulders, all the tag team gold in their hands, you grew excited. As they came to a stop next to you, you took both their bags with a determined look in your eyes that told both of them not to argue about it. "You carry the gold, I'll carry the rest." With those words you walked over to your rental car and put the bags in the trunk before sitting in the driver's seat.
The drive to the hotel was silent, the air thick with anticipation. When you entered the elevator, each one leaning against a different wall, none of you said a word. Dax smiled to himself when he noticed the little looks you and Cash exchanged every now and then: both pretending to not look at the other, and when your eyes accidently met, a shy smile graced both your lips. He thought it was funny how your behavior was about to change. It was always the same with you...
Once you were in your hotel room, the door behind you closed, you two were all over each other like teenagers. The bags you carried were thrown into the corner of the room. Your lips crashed on Cash's while he tucked at your shirt. Within seconds, shoes and clothes were carelessly tossed around, hands roaming all over each other. There was a certain urgency to every movement your bodies made, a need and desire that left no room for a proper, slow foreplay. Dax watched intently until both of you wore nothing but your underwear. In the beginning, he had felt left out whenever this happened, like he was just a silent watcher and not part of the fun, but he soon learned to cherish this moment. The way Cash's and your body moved together turned him on so much. He eyed the growing bulge in Cash's briefs before he got distracted by you. Although your lips were still connected to Cash's, tongues fighting for dominance while soft moans left your mouth, your right hand left Cash's half hard cock to blindly reach into the room in an attempt to get ahold of Dax. When he noticed, he took your hand and let himself be pulled towards you. You pecked the younger man's lips one last time before you turned around to face Dax.
The smile you wore took his breath away for a second. He was amazed at how quickly your pace changed. The hurried making out with Cash was replaced by a soft touch to Dax's face. You cupped his cheek with your free hand and tenderly pressed your lips on his. Dax wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you flush against him. Just as he wanted to take his shirt off, you took his hands in yours to stop him. "Wait, let me." There was something beautiful about undressing Dax. While you always seemed to be in a hurry to get Cash naked, Dax was like a christmas present to you. Delicately wrapped, you were mindful to not get any wrinkles in his clothes or toss them around. He'd usually get flustered the less he wore, unable to comprehend why you'd admire his body the way you did. He physically was a beast, broad shoulders and thick thighs being his trademark; yet every movement he made during sex was to bring you the pleasure he thought you deserved. He always put you first, and treated you like a queen. You slowly got rid of his shirt, then got down to untie his shoes and take off his socks. When you got back up and kissed him again, more passionate this time, you felt Cash move closer behind you, unclasping your bra and pressing his lips on your shoulder. While your hands roamed over Dax's chest before palming his hard on, you grinded your ass against Cash. All three of you moaned at the interaction before you took off Dax's jeans and took a step back from both men, who now wore nothing but their briefs. You grinned at them. "It's time to show my champs just how proud I am of them." You merely whispered as you got on your knees in front of them, slowly pulling down the bald man's underwear before Cash's, needy eyes watching both cocks spring free. The way the two men looked at you in anticipation, eyes hungry and excited for what's to come, sent a shiver down your spine. You took each in your hands and slowly, teasingly pumped their cocks. Then, you licked the tip of Cash's cock and started sucking on it, all while jerking off Dax. After you bobbed your head a few times, you switched to Dax and did the same to him. With each switch between them, you took them down a little further until their dicks hit the back of your throat. It turned both men's brains to mush, unable to form a full sentence. They both just looked down at you, eyes never leaving your mouth as you worked both.
The power you had over them once you had their dicks in your mouth, the way you were in control made you moan around them, leaving each of them a groaning mess. At some point, when their moans turned louder and louder, you knew it was time for their special treatment. It didn't take you long to find out what each of them enjoyed the most in bed, and you were more than willing to give them what they craved.
So you turned your body to fully face Dax, taking him all the way down your throat one last time, hallowing your cheeks before you let his dick slide out of your mouth. As you started jerking him off again, you looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back down, because he also knew what was about to come. You licked along his shaft one last time, tracing the vein prominent and then moved down to press light kisses on his balls. He threw his head back when you took one of them in your mouth, massaging it with your tongue. "Shit, Y/N."
He groaned after some time, eyes darting down at you. He loved the way his hard cock dangled right over your face while you sucked his balls. You moaned again when you took in all two at once, sucking hard on both of them. Dax's body shivered at the interaction, before he noticed Cash placing a hand on the back of your head. For a moment, Dax had forgotten he was there too. "I think it's time you pay some attention to Cash...He seems needy." He chuckled a bit, but was honestly glad he found an excuse to make you stop. He knew he was close to his release, and also painfully aware he was too tired to go for another round. So he stepped back, trying to calm himself down so he'd last long enough.
Your hands gently rubbed Cash's thigh as you turned your focus to the younger man. Then they travelled upwards and gripped his hands in yours, guiding them close to your face. You placed a kiss on the inside of each of his hands and brought them to the sides of your head. Then, you smiled up at him and slowly opened your mouth. He ran his thumb over your cheek before pushing his cock in. "You're such a good girl, Y/N. You always know what we want." He said as he slowly started to fuck your face. With each thrust, he went down your throat a little further, being careful not to choke you with his dick. Your eyes were glued to his face, taking in each and every movement of his features: the way he pressed his eyes shut when he was all the way down your throat, the way his mouth hung open each time you moaned around his cock, the way his breath hitched every now and then, and the crooked smile that spread across his face when you brought your hands up to squeeze his ass. Everything about him screamed pure sex. After a few last rough thrusts, he pulled you up by your shoulders and hungrily kissed you.
"I think it's time we return the favor, huh, Dax?" He made it sound like a question, but all three of you knew it wasn't. Then he picked you up bridal style and walked over to the bed where he tossed you on it, eliciting a soft giggle from you. He plopped down next to you and trailed kisses along your neck, hands slowly moving up and down your stomach before pulling down your already soaked panties. His lips travelled along your collarbone, nibbling at the sensitive skin before he moved to pay some attention to your heaving chest. He gently kneaded both your breasts before he peppered them with small kisses until he finally flicked his tongue over your sensitive bud and started sucking. A lustful moan left your mouth when he did, and you were so focused on Cash that you didn't realize Dax moving down between your legs, tenderly spreading them. So you were completely taken by surprise when you felt him licking a stripe through your folds. You gasped, head shooting off the pillows to look down at him. He wrapped his arms around your thighs, eyes never leaving yours as he expertly sucked in your clit. "Fuck, Dax. Just like that." One of your hands moved down to run your fingers over his bald head, the other hand desperately clawed at Cash's back. Dax spread your legs even further, running his tongue up and down your sensitive pearl. You arched your back as he worked you, sending waves of pleasure all through your body. The way his tongue darted out to roll your bundle of nerves around, combined with the way he knew just how hard to suck on it was just heavenly. There was no one on earth that was better at giving head than Dax Harwood. He didn't even need to finger you to make you cum. He just needed his tongue to turn you into a puddle of goo. Cash still sucked and bit down at your nipples, adding to the pleasure Dax brought you. "He's making you feel so good, right?" Cash asked when he moved his lips from your chest up to your neck which earned him a lustful groan of Dax that vibrated against your skin.
God, you loved how talkative Cash was. Despite being the more silent and reserved one of the two, when it came to sex, he liked to make sure you knew how good you made him feel...or how good Dax made you feel. He praised both of you equally, and it turned the two of you on so much. "So - fucking - good." You pressed out between moans, making sure you made eye contact with Dax again when you spoke. The look in his eyes, dark with lust, sent a shiver down your spine. Your breathing became more and more labored, your moans changing from deep growls to high pitched yelps, legs shaking around Dax's head. You felt the heat rise in your lower stomach with each passing second. You were close. So close. The two men noticed too, trying everything to give you your well deserved first release of the night.
"Come on baby, cum for us. Show Dax just how good he's taking care of you." Cash's lips were now right by your ear, ghosting over your earlobe before playfully biting down at it, all while pinching your hard nipples.
Dax moaned again as he sucked on your clit, and combined with Cash's words, you completely let lose, legs trapping the bald man's head while you moaned his name and after a few moments your body went limp. Dax lapped up your juices as if he was afraid of spilling a single drop.
Both men stood up from the bed to look down at the mess they made out of you. While Cash just smiled, Dax licked his lips a few times, still tasting you on them. When you slowly came down from your high, you propped yourself up on your elbows, eyes roaming over both their bodies, focusing on their hard ons.
"I need to feel you." You whispered. "Both of you. Now. Please."
The tag partners shared a look and grinned at each other. "She's really cute when she's needy, don't ya think so, Dax?" Cash stated, and Dax hummed as response. You got up on all fours and crawled along the bed until you were right in front of their cocks. As you lifted yourself up on your knees, your hands interlocked behind Dax's head, pulling him down for a needy kiss, which resulted in him moaning in your mouth. You could still taste yourself on his lips. When you moved to kiss Cash, your tongue licking his lips, he snaked his arms around your back and gently pushed you down on the bed again, laying on top of you. He kissed you back, almost innocently and then rolled around so you were on top of him, his lips never leaving yours. As you straddled his lap, you pressed open mouth kisses along his neck, down to his chest, while you mumbled sweet nothings against his skin. He sighed at your touch and if you were being honest, you wanted to tease him, make him real desperate for you. But no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't deny the fact that you needed him just as much, so you brought your hand down between your bodies and guided his cock against your entrance, slowly sinking down on him. A low moan escaped your lips: Cash always filled you up so good. He groaned as he grabbed your thighs, trying to urge you to move right away, but you needed a moment to get used to his size. When you started rolling your hips, you threw your head back and got completely lost in the moment. "Fuck, Cash. So good." The words were dripping with lust, you were completely blissed out. A low growl left his lips before he started thrusting his hips up to meet your movements, the sound of skin clashing against skin filling the room. After a few moments your heard a faint click behind you, felt the bed dip and Dax's hand gently rubbing your butt cheeks. Cash paused his movements, his cock buried inside your pussy, letting his friend get you prepared for more fun.
Dax had spread the lube on his fingers as well as his cock and was now pushing one finger inside your ass, slowly pumping in and out. It always felt uncomfortable at first, until he found the angle that made you whimper. When that happened, he added another finger and started scissoring so you were ready for his cock. Cash started moving again too, shallowly thrusting up. "Dax, please. I need more."
He didn't answer verbally, but pulled his fingers out of you, positioning himself at your entrance, while his mouth went to your shoulder gently biting down on it as he slowly entered you.
Your face momentarily distorted from the pain and your upper body collapsed onto Cash's chest. The man underneath you gently stroked your hair and placed a soft kiss on the top of your head. "You're doing so good, babygirl." His voice was soothing and you soon relaxed again, smiling against his skin before you lifted yourself up from Cash, looking behind you at Dax and nodding your head in his direction - your silent permission for him to start moving.
As soon as he thrusted in you, he grunted. "Damn, Y/N,  you're so fucking tight."
Waves of pleasure rushed through your whole body as Dax gently fucked your ass. Soon, Cash started moving again as well. In the beginning, you were always surprised how the two of them found the perfect rhythm right away, but then it dawned on you: these two knew each other like the back of their hands. There was a reason why they were considered one of the best tag teams of all time; and it was the fact they they worked together like a well-oiled machine. There was a blind understanding between them others could not comprehend, not even you.
Your moans became more rapid, and as much as you enjoyed the tender treatment, you needed more. "Harder, boys. Don't hold back. Make me walk funny for a week." The two of them shared a look and smiled at each other. They always loved it when you wanted it rough. Without wasting another second, they started pounding like it would be the last chance they ever got. One would slide in while the other would pull out until only the tip remained inside you. You arched your back in pleasure, hands on Cash's chest to keep you up straight. Cash brought his hand up to your face, cupping your cheek, thumb tracing your lips. Your eyes were glossy when you looked down at him while you opened your mouth and started sucking on his thumb which resulted in Cash's mouth hanging slighty open from pleasure. Sometimes he wondered what took you so long to finally have sex. You've been friends for years before it first happened, and he had always been attracted to you. Same with Dax. But for some reason, the thought that the attraction worked both ways never crossed their minds. Or maybe it was just too sinful to even think about it. But that one night, when you had one too many drinks and admitted just how much you wanted them, definitely was the best night of his life.
He groaned once more before he removed his thumb from your mouth and turned his attention to Dax behind you. "I think we should start to really fuck her. What do you think, Dax?"
"Fuck yes!" He growled as his left hand ran along your back up to your neck. It snaked around your throat and stayed there, pulling you backwards against his chest. Cash's hands moved up to your breasts, kneading the soft flesh and roughly pinching your hard nipples. Then, without further warning, both of them thrusted into you at the same time, setting a relentless pace. The way their two cocks filled you up in a way you didn't think was possible was driving you wild. They were stretching you so deliciously it felt like they were rubbing against each other with every thrust.
"Oh my God, Dax, Cash, just like that. Don't stop. Don't fucking stop." You cried out as you felt the burning sensation in your lower stomach rise. You pressed your eyes shut, only focusing on the sounds that filled the room: Cash's soft moans, your desperate whimpers, Dax's low growls, and skin slapping rapidly against skin...it had to be the hottest thing you ever heard.
"Damn, Cash, do you feel that? She's gotta be close; clenching around me like crazy."
"Yeah, I feel it too. She's getting so tight, I barely fit in anymore."
Okay, THAT had to be the hottest thing you ever heard, these two talking about you like you weren't even there. Just as you wanted to reply, Dax brought his free hand between your legs, pressing his index and middle finger against your clit before rubbing rough circles. All words left your body, all you could do was whimper. Your whole body was on fire, their hands caressing your most sensitive parts. Tears streamed down your face as the most intense orgasm you ever had ripped through you, making every nerve tingle with pleasure. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head while Cash and Dax fucked you through your orgasm, clenching uncontrollably around their cocks. Dax could feel your low moans vibrate in your throat.
It didn't take long until Cash felt his climax approach. He wanted to pull out and move away from under you, jerking himself off on your tits, like he usually did. As soon as you felt him move, you grabbed his wrists, making him stop dead in his tracks. "Wait, don't go, baby. Cum in me. I need to feel you. Both of you. Please, I want it so bad. Fill me up."
He paused for a moment, uncertain of what to do. When his eyes met Dax's, who was close himself, the bald man just nodded at his younger partner before he let out one last lustful groan, stopped all movements, and came in your ass. Both of you shuddered at the sensation before Dax rested his forehead against your shoulder, sloppily pressing light kisses on your skin.
Your eyes were glued to Cash's, who thrusted a few more times into you until he too stopped moving, coating your walls with his seed. He lifted his upper body up, snaked his arms around your body and cradled his face against your chest.
The three of you stayed like this, you wrapped up between their bodies, slowly coming down from your highs. After some time, you felt Dax move away from behind you to leave for the bathroom. You wanted to follow him to get cleaned up, but as soon as your feet hit the ground, your knees gave in and you almost collapsed on the floor, only able to steady yourself by leaning against the wall. Cash quickly got up to aid you, but couldn't suppress the laughter leaving his mouth. When he saw you frown, he chuckled a bit. "Well, to be fair, you wanted us to fuck you so you'd walk funny." You snickered as you wrapped your arms around his waist to steady yourself. Just then, Dax returned with a washcloth to clean you up. When he was finished, Cash lifted you up bridal style and layed you down on the bed before snuggling up behind you. Dax joined you, laying in front of you, pressing his forehead against yours. You gently pecked his lips and smiled at him. "I can't wait until you guys become 8 Star FTR." Both men laughed before cuddling as close as possible to you, the three of you slowly dozing off to sleep.

Smut Prompt #14 - “Bite me.” “If you insist.”
You and Cash had an argument earlier in the day, and you honestly couldn’t remember what it was about; you just remember that you’re pissed at him. The pair of you had been giving each other the silent treatment as well as avoiding one another as much as possible in your shared home. What you do remember is Cash shouting at you, and he never shouts at you; he doesn’t even raise his voice at you. That hurt, stung even, but you also remember him saying, “I wish you’d just leave me alone!” so you’re doing just that, what he more or less demanded.
The longer you and Cash kept the silent treatment going, the more guilty he felt. He doesn’t remember what the argument was about either, much less who started it, but all the things he said to you were eating away at him. He hated you being pissed off at him, especially considering it was a rare occasion. He decided enough was enough and stood up from the couch, heading to the bedroom where you stormed off to.
He stopped in front of the bedroom door, listening to gage what you could be doing. Should he knock? Should he just barge in? How should he start the ‘I’m sorry’ conversation? It’s extremely rare these arguments happen, and Cash is at a loss on how to approach you, how to apologize after some of the things he said in the heat of the moment. He kept listening but never heard you move around the room, talking on the phone, or the water running in the bathroom.
He finally decided to knock. He waited a few minutes, maybe you were in the bathroom, maybe you were reading, or maybe you were changing clothes. He continued to wait until he had enough. After five minutes, he didn’t care what you were doing; he just wanted you happy again, to apologize, to do whatever it took to be in your good graces again. He turned the door knob and barged in, only to find you still fuming on the bed, scrolling through your phone.
“Can we talk? I want to apologize. I’m sorry for all those things I said. I should’ve thought about it more before I let them slip out. I hate you being pissed at me.” He cautiously sat down on the edge of the bed, eyes never leaving your face. If he was being honest with himself, he thought you were sexy when you were mad; he just didn’t like that you were mad at him.
After he finished his little speech, you glared up at him, still fuming. “Bite me.” You growled, not ready to forgive him just yet. You watch your boyfriend’s face slowly turn mischievous, the sexiest smirk on his lips.
“If you insist.” He voice deepens and his eyes darken with lust, taking your words as a challenge. He grabs your phone from your hands and places it on the bedside table, turning back to you. You haven't moved an inch, too turned on by the dominance that’s radiating off Cash. You bite your lip, trying to keep it together the best you can; you don’t want him to win just yet.
Cash takes in your appearance, anger finally gone, replaced with want and lust. He knows he’s got you right where he wants you. He sees the way you’re biting your lip, the way your eyes are trailing over his body, the way your fingers are twitching, just dying to to touch him. He slowly climbed on top of you, arms on either side of you, caging you in. He swiped his tongue across his lips, wetting them. “You’re just being a brat now, you know that? Challenging me, not accepting my apology, ignoring me, avoiding me. Maybe you need to be reminded who I am, who you are, how all this works.” Cash taunts, ever so subtly leaning down towards your lips as he speaks, eyes never leaving yours. You remain frozen and swallow, finding your mouth and throat dry and dangerously close to caving and kissing him with all you have in you.
You open your mouth to speak, but no words come out. Cash brings his mouth to your ear. “What’s the matter, love? You know I like when you use your words.” He whispers, his breath tickling your ear. You nod, closing your eyes, reveling in the moment. Cash brings his head back up, and gently yet firmly grasps your chin. “Open your eyes, love.” He commanded, a stern look on his handsome face. You obey, eyes popping open to be met with his, and you’ve never felt more turned on in your entire life. “That’s my girl. You gonna listen to me now?” He asks, still holding your chin.
“Y-yes.” You managed to stammer out. You couldn’t keep fighting him any longer, and if he hadn’t had a hold of your chin you would have had your lips on his in a heartbeat. Finally caving in completely, you let out a whine and attempt to lift your hips up to meet his, forgetting about the fact that you’re both fully clothed.
Cash lets out a low chuckle, removing his hand from your chin and sitting up, straddling you; he keeps his eyes on yours shaking his head. “Patience, love. It’s all gonna be worth the agonizing wait.” He tells you as he makes a show of ridding himself of his shirt, showing off his strong, muscular upper body. At this point, you’re all but drooling over him. You know you shouldn’t, but you sit up and quickly latch your lips onto his, clinging to him as you did so.
He gives in momentarily, kissing you back with want and need. He eventually pulls away, a wicked smile on his lips as he shakes his head. “You did it now, love.” Cash makes quick work of ridding you of your clothing, but continues his little strip tease from moments ago. He knows your dying to get your mouth on him, or your hands, whichever you manage first. He pushes you back down on the bed. His eyes trailed down your body, his desire for you building with each passing second. He leans down, lightly dragging his fingertips along your skin, first from your cheek to your chest, pausing to admire your breasts. He can’t help but to get his hands on them, kneading, kissing, licking, and sucking on them both.
You gasped as the feeling of finally having his hands and mouth on you. “Cash….” You moan in hopes he’ll slip a hand down between you both, to give you some sort of attention where you dripping with desire for him.
Cash trails kisses this time from your breast down to your stomach, his hands still on your breasts. You attempt once more to lift your hips up, to get his attention, to get some sort of relief, some sort of friction in between your legs, but you have no such luck. Cash removes his hands from your breasts and places them on your hips, gripping firmly. “Patience, love.” He almost growls. “I’ll give you what you want soon enough. Now be a good girl for me.” You whine in protest which earns you gentle yet firm slap to the thigh, close your core.
“Cash!” You moan out in pleasure and slight pain. You know he’d never hurt you intentionally, no matter how good either one of you were feeling. That wasn’t the type of guy was in or out of the bedroom. He loved you, respected you, and he would do anything for you.
He finally moved from your stomach down to your core. He placed a feather light kiss on the inside of each of your thighs. You struggled to not press your luck, especially with him right there. He glanced up at you, smirking, knowing you wanted to all but shove his head down to your core. He slid a finger in you, slowly, feeling just how soaked you were for him. “Damn, baby. Who did this to you?” He asked, pretending to be clueless all while a shit eating grin played on his lips. You were trying so hard to focus on staying still because you know the more obedient you are the quicker he’ll give into you, and trying to gather your thoughts to answer him.
Any other time, you would have rolled your eyes at him. “You…” You breathlessly whispered.
“I didn’t hear that, baby. What did you say?” He questioned, adding a second finger and entering you, pumping his fingers in and out of you at a slightly quick pace this time.
“You, Cash! You!” You shouted as you felt him add a second finger and finally give you some type of friction, even if it was slower than what you wanted.
“You’re damn right it was me.” The smug look on his face would have earned him a smack to the back of his head, but in this situation, it was hot. He knew how much he turned you on just like you knew how much you turned him on. He was hard, painfully hard, but he couldn’t pass up teasing you. He continued to prep you, and when he knew you were ready, he withdrew his fingers, earning a whimper from you. “Relax, baby. You’ll love this so much better.” Cash reached over and opened the top drawer of the bedside table, retrieving a condom, rolling it on. He lined himself up at your entrance and slowly eased himself into you.
“Oh, fuck…. Baby…” You moaned at the feeling of his size slowly entering you, filling you up completely, like you two were meant to be.
You had your head thrown back and back arched, nails digging into Cash’s back, eliciting a moan from him. “Fuck, baby. You feel so good.” He praised. He waited for your cue to move. Thankfully, he didn’t have to wait much longer.
“Move. Please move, baby.” You whimpered desperately, once you adjusted to the size of him. You needed him to move; you’ve been patient like he kept emphasizing. Cash’s lips found yours, kissing you with so much need, want, desire, and passion you weren’t sure how much longer you could last.
Cash began moving like you practically begged him to. He started off slow but after a few thrusts he was picking up the pace, moaning and grunting against your lips. He moved his lips down to your neck, and you knew your neck would be littered with hickeys, love bites, whatever you wanted to call them. He kept a decent pace, not slow but now too fast, much to your dismay.
“Faster… please….” You begged him to pick up the pace. You could feel your orgasm steadily approaching. Cash could feel his own orgasm approaching as well, so he complied, thrusting faster and shifting the two of you so he could go deeper. He had no issue finding that sweet spot, and you knew you really wouldn’t last much longer now.
“Feels so good, babygirl. Look so…” He trailed off focusing on hitting that sweet spot to hear you scream his name. “Pretty begging for me…” He finished his dirty praise in between thrusts.
He accomplished his goal of getting you to scream his name. He hit that sweet spot over and over. “Fuck! Cash!” You scream in pleasure, closer and closer to your release with every thrust.
Cash wasn’t far behind. Your walls clenching around him, the sounds you were making because of him, and that dirty talk had him inching closer and closer as well.
Cash picked up the pace more, moving fast and rougher now, not able to hold on too much longer. He knew you were right there with him by the way you were squirming and the sounds you were making, your breathing matching his.
You had drug your nails into his strong, muscular back, leaving scratches each time he hit that sweet spot. You weren’t sure who would have it worse when it was all over, you with your neck covered in hickeys, or him with his back covered in scratch marks. At this moment you didn’t care. You only cared about how good you were making each other feel.
Cash slipped a hand in between the two of you, rubbing quick circles on your sensitive bud, thrusting a fast pace. “Come on, love. I’m so close.” He pleaded desperately, not wanting to release without you.
Just a few more thrusts hitting your sweet spot and his fingers rubbing you at the same time was overwhelming you. Upon hearing the desperation in Cash’s voice, you knew he was more than ready and so were you. “I’m so close too, baby….” You panted, your walls tightening around him. He hit that sweet spot once again, sending you over the edge. “Fuck… Cash!” You screamed out as you hit your climax.
Cash thrust one final time, feel you tighten and clench around him, and your juices spilling onto him; it was all it took for him to climax as well. “Fuck!” You both rode out your highs before Cash pulls off the condom, tossing it into the trash can by the bedside table, and collapsing on his side of the bed. The pair of you were exhausted and out of breath.
“Damn. Maybe we should argue more often.” He joked, still catching his breath. You looked over at him, still catching your breath as well, and smack his chest, letting out a laugh.
“We can do that whenever you want, big boy.” You winked, half-joking.
He laughed, pulling you into his arms. You rest your head on his chest after you place a kiss over his heart. “I love you.” You whispered, adrenaline wearing off, and your eyes slowly closing.
“I love you, beautiful.” Cash replied, placing a soft kiss to the top of your head, sleep beginning to overtake him as well.

Prompt: Wrapping arms around them when they make breakfast
Fandom: Wrestling, AEW
Pairing: Cash Wheeler x Reader
Warnings: None
Genre: Angst
Word Count: 705

A/N: Sorry if I made angst out of a fluffy prompt, that's kind of my thing tho
Tumblr media
He was absent for most of the week, I had missed him, his voice, his presence, but I had to pull through the week to see him on Monday, problem was, I wanted him with me, I was tired of being second place, wrestling always came first in our relationship and our marriage couldn’t just be me eating dinner alone in front of the tv.
And as sad as it sounded, it was the truth, sometimes I think he forgets I even exist.
Getting a phone call from Cash was the highlight of my day, it usually brightened my mood and I went to sleep much better, but not today, we started talking and he knew I was mad and pushed me until the truth started pouring out of my soul.
“Just tell me what’s wrong”
He said.
“I don’t know what I’m doing alone all week, I married you to be together and sometimes it feels like you married Dax instead of me”
“Are you seriously jealous right now?”
He asked under his breath, he sounded as frustrated as me. My voice was cracking by now, my eyes were watering but I had to say it, I had stayed quiet for a long time just burying my feelings but I had to stop, he had to know and hopefully, he’d change.
“What if am? I have the right to, you’re not here most days, and of course I knew what your work entailed and what it means to you but guess what? I have feelings for you in case you forgot”
I said.
“You know I would love to be there with you, I love you but I still got two more days down here”
He kept his voice down, trying to make me calm down.
“You make me feel selfish for missing you”
The big knot on my throat feeling bigger and bigger every time I talked.
“I’ll get home as soon as possible, I promise”
“You say that but you don’t mean it, see you Monday”
I hang the phone, I was sad and mad, I couldn’t sleep until the am, he would stay in Florida for another two days, I couldn’t take it.
Was I so worthless to him?
Waking up late I had a headache that wouldn’t go away, thinking about Cash made me hurt, but also I knew I shouldn’t have yelled at him, my conscience let me up for hours as I relived the scene over and over again, I ended falling asleep until the am.
I could tell hours had passed, it must have been noon, my head was still spiraling from our argument when I heard footsteps downstairs, I immediately got scared but looking around I found Cash’s suitcase, feeling regret I walked to the kitchen.
He didn’t realize I was watching him cook, he’s making bacon and eggs, I wasn’t sure of what I would say or do, I end up walking towards him until I put my hands around his tummy, hugging him from behind, it was the only thing that felt right about it, I melted in an instant when is hands touched mine.
“You came home”
I say still surprised to find him.
“We still had one day but I missed you”
He admits.
“I’m sorry about yesterday, you know sometimes your schedule is too much for me”
I said.
He turned off the stove, then he moved to look at me face to face and hugged me, forehead pressing against mine, he held me tightly and his hands comforted my back as he apologized.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be telling you how to feel, and I’m sorry for undermining your feelings, I just want you to know you are the most important thing in my life and I’ll make the effort of actually showing it from now on, please don’t leave me”
The last part sounded like he was in real fear, my heart hurt hearing him.
“I’d never leave you, I love you”
I said looking at his eyes, both of my hands on his cheeks, he kissed the inside part of my hand, and embraced me, his mouth searching for my ear to whisper.
“I love you too, dear”

Currently I sat in the living room of the Harwood home in tears as Dax and his wife tried to confort me. In my hand heald two positive pregnancy tests. Normally this would have been a good thing, Cash and I wanted children but now was not the time. What started out as a friendly feud between The Bang Bang Gang and FTR turned into a war between my brothers and my husband.
"I don't know what to do!" I said as cried into the chest of Dax's wife Maria. "He won't even talk to me, I'm scared. I don't want to do this alone" I told the couple. "This is such bull shit. I don't understand why he is getting so upset about all this. You have nothing to do with this Y/n." Dax assured me. All of this started a few weeks ago when Austen and Colten started making comments about me being married to Cash. They would say how I deserved better and how he was not a man. They would bring up sentative topics I would share to them during the years of us being together. Austin and Colten always listned to me rant about Cash when he pissed me off. I told them this information in private. If I knew they were going to spill all of it in the future I wouldn't have mentioned it in the first place.
The final straw was when Colten called Cash a alcoholic with a bad temper. "My sister deserves someone who doesn't drink so much that their dick doesn't work. Maybe Jay should just give her the family she's always wanted" I found it pretty ironic that that comment would be made days before I found out I was pregnant. Cash didn't come home that night. When I returned to our hotel room all of his things were gone. I assumed he headed home early so when I returned to our home in North Carolina and saw his truck wasn't in the driveway I panicked. I called Cash dozens of time and was sent to voicemail on the first ring. I felt sick to my stomach, all of this made me physically ill. When I told Dax about all of this he was furious. He was kind enough to let me stay with him and his family while all of this played out. Dax too was being sent on voicemail on the first ring.
It was a bittersweet moment when I found out I was pregnant. Cash and I wanted children more than anything in the world. I pictured us together in our home, tears of joy as I heald that positive test. Not crying in the Harwood bathrrom alone with tears of sadness and fear.
***
Three days had passed since then and Dax was finally able to get a hold of Cash. I didn't say a word as Dax talked to him on the phone. "I'm just so mad at all of them, you heard what they said about me right? I was told I was a shitty husband and a lazy lover. How would you feel if someone told the whole world your dick doesn't work on live TV!" Cash explained. "You know Y/n has nothing to do with this right? She had no idea they were going to say those things. I really think you should speak to your wife. She really needs you right now Cash!" I tried my best to keep quiet but it was growing harder to do so. The tears were starting to fall as the cracks in my heart grew larger. "So are you going to be mad at her forever? Are you really wanting to throw five years together down the drain over a stupid comment?" Dax questioned. I was scared of what Cash would say. "Maybe? You know that's a sensitive topic for me man. I thought you would understand" I could hear the pain in Cash's voice and it killed me. I couldn't hold it anymore, I needed to talk to Cash. Dax handed me the phone and I broke. "I'm sorry Cash. Please forgive me, I need you. I'm scared Cash. I really need to talk to you in person!" I told him. Silence. "Can you just be a man and get your ass over hear. You are being a fucking coward. You should be here for your wife Cash. You doing this is just proving what the Gunns said to be true" Dax told him. More silence. "I'll be there in 20"
When Cash arrived at the Harwood home I almost didn't recognize him. This was not the man I married. This Cash was dark, he looked angry, he looked like he wanted to hurt someone. Without thinking I threw myself at him. Wrapping my arms around him as I cried into his chest. All Cash did was stand there stiff as a board. "Are you fucking kidding me!" Dax said. "What's so important that you need to talk to me in person" Cash said with a edge to his voice. "I can't believe you!" I spat at him. All of a sudden my sadness had turned into rage. "Why are you being all pissy? You weren't the one who was made a fool of on live TV!" Cash yelled. "Why are you still so mad about that! They apologized for god sakes! How was I supposed to know that they would say that?!" I yelled back. "Did you ever think about my feelings Y/n? How I feel? Did you ever think that maybe you are the problem and not me? Think about how much money we spent on IVF, I think you are the fucking problem!" I was in shock. I coudn't believe what I was hearing. "I fucking hate you!" I yelled as I grabbed my purse and left. Just as I was about to leave I reached into my purse and pulled out the positive pregancy tests. "Here you go Jack ass! I bet you feel real stupid right now. We are over!" I yelled as I threw the tests at him, slamming the door behind me.
"I can't fucking believe you, get out of my house" Dax spat.

Catch up on previous parts here.
“So I kind of want to try something new tonight.”
Callie bounced on the balls of her feet as she and Britt stood in the middle of the ring at Daily’s Place. She had a match that night—a Dark match against Penelope Ford—and she was both excited and a little bit nervous. It was the first match she’d had in two-and-a-half months, since her match against Alex that she’d lost by disqualification. Knowing that, she felt like showing off a little.
“Oh yeah?” Britt asked. “What were you thinking?”
“Well, I’ve been wanting to show that I can be more technical than just throwing hard punches and kicks, and I don’t really have a submission move in my arsenal… so I was thinking of trying out the octopus hold?”
“Oh yeah!” Britt proclaimed. “That’s a good one. Have you worked on it at all? Because I honestly haven’t tried it.”
She nodded. “A little. But it’s been a while.” She stared at the mat, her thoughts growing distant. It had actually been Alex who’d shown her how to do the octopus hold, back when they’d first started becoming friends. Callie wasn’t sure how Alex would take it if she used it tonight. But she also didn’t really care.
“Well, I’m down to try it if you’re comfortable,” Britt said. “Just tell me what to do.”
Callie shook her head, bringing herself back to the present. “Okay, cool. It’s actually pretty simple for you. All you need to do is pick me up like I’m going for a tilt-a-whirl. But instead of swinging through for the takedown, I’ll keep one leg behind your head and lock the other around your leg.”
Britt nodded. “Alright. Sounds easy enough. You want me to just stand here?”
“Yeah, I’ll run at you.”
“Okay.”
Callie took a breath to ready herself, and then she rebounded off the ropes and ran at Britt. Britt picked her up just like she was supposed to, and Callie locked her legs around her head; but when she swung around and tried to hook her left foot behind Britt’s left leg, the momentum caused Britt to lose her balance and they both went tumbling ungracefully to the mat.
“Whoa!” someone suddenly shouted. “What the hell was that?”
Callie looked toward the entrance ramp as she and Britt untangled from each other. Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment when she saw who it was. Matt Jackson.
“It was supposed to be an octopus hold,” Britt said as she pushed herself to her feet.
“Ah,” he returned. “Well, that’s a relief. I thought it was a terrible attempt at a hurricanrana.”
He leaned against the ropes and sent Callie a teasing smirk. She narrowed her eyes at him. “If I wanted to learn how to do a hurricanrana I’d ask Nick, not you.”
Matt clutched dramatically at his chest. “Ouch, Callie. That hurts. But, lucky for you, I’m feeling generous today.” He ducked through the ropes and walked toward her. “Plus, I know you know I’m a better teacher than Nick.”
He offered her his hand, that cocky smirk of his still in place. She pursed her lips; but she slid her palm into his and let him pull her to her feet.
“Well then what did we do wrong, Professor Jackson?” Britt asked.
“Finally, some respect,” Matt commented. Britt and Callie both ignored it. “Well, if that was supposed to be an octopus hold, you need to catch her as she’s coming around,” he explained. “It looked like you didn’t do that, which is why she pulled you down to the mat.”
“Oh.” Callie’s cheeks tinged pink again. “Yeah, that’s on me. I might have forgotten to mention that part.”
She expected another snarky remark. But Matt just grinned. “Well, now you won’t forget again. Here—try it on me.”
Britt stepped out of the way; but Callie froze, suddenly nervous. What if she screwed up again? When it came to wrestling, Matt was the last person she wanted to look like an idiot in front of, even more so than Adam. But she trusted him, and she wanted to get this right.
He looked at her, waiting. She bounced off the ropes and ran toward him. She jumped up and wrapped her legs around his head just as she had Britt; but when she swung around, he caught her with his left arm and squatted down, cradling her against him. The added support allowed her to bring down her left leg and hook her foot behind his calf; her right knee remained hinged over his neck. She caught his right arm and pulled.
“Ah, okay,” he grimaced and tapped out—on her butt. Callie untangled her limbs from around him and fell to the mat. “That was good,” he complimented. “It actually hurt.”
“Thanks.” She arched a sly brow at him. “And is it normal for the opponent to tap out on your butt?”
Matt’s eyes widened. “Oh. Did I do that? Sorry, I couldn’t tell.”
Callie playfully rolled her eyes at his grin. He’d known damn well what he’d done, and he wasn’t sorry at all. “Uh huh,” she returned as she got to her feet. “I’ll let it slide this time, Professor Jackson.”
He gave her a wink. It happened so fast that Callie almost missed it. “Alright, try it on Britt now.”
They ran through the move a few more times, and once they were confident executing the hold from a run, Matt showed them how to do it from a standing position. Twenty minutes later, Callie felt more than ready to use it in her match that night. And she’d even admit that Matt was a good teacher—but maybe not better than Nick.
“Well, thanks for the lesson Professor Jackson,” Britt said. “But I’m starving now.”
“No problem,” Matt said. He gave her a wave as she ducked through the ropes; but even though Callie was hungry too, she didn’t follow her. She and Matt both watched as Britt walked away. As soon as she disappeared down one of the entrance tunnels, Matt asked, “So are you still staying at her place?”
Callie glanced sheepishly down at the canvas. She and Matt had texted back and forth throughout the week, but they hadn’t talked about Adam or their “separation.” They’d talked about anything but: what they were up to on any given day, memories from their time together on the indies, funny things they saw online. And Callie had enjoyed it; it had been a nice distraction. But, now that they were face-to-face, she wasn’t surprised that he wanted an update on the situation.
“No,” she revealed. “But not because Adam and I worked it out. I felt like I was starting to overstay my welcome with Britt and Cole, so I’m staying at the hotel here between now and Thursday’s episode. But after that... I don’t know.”
Callie frowned to herself, realizing just how pathetic that sounded. After tonight, everyone else on the roster would go home to their families and houses; and she’d still be in Jacksonville, living alone in a hotel room for the next five days. She knew she could probably just go back to Virginia; no matter their issues, she doubted Adam would put her out. But her pride kept her away. She didn’t want to go crawling back to someone who she wasn’t sure even wanted her anymore.
“So you and Adam still haven’t talked at all?” Matt asked.
She shook her head. “Not since last week’s Dynamite. And that wasn’t a productive conversation.” She fidgeted, hoping he wouldn’t ask her to elaborate; she really didn’t want to get into her late-night confrontation with Adam and Alex. Thankfully, he seemed to get the hint and left it alone.
“Well, did you have any plans for tonight?”
She looked back at him, a deer in headlights. “Not really. Why?”
He shrugged, casual. “We’re going out to dinner like usual after the show, and I thought I’d see if you wanted to come with.”
Callie’s eyebrows arched at the invitation. Those dinners were sacred. At least, they seemed to be. “With you and Nick and Kenny?”
“Yeah,” he returned, visibly amused by her shock. “Why not? We’re friends.”
“I’m friends with you and Nick,” she corrected. “Kenny… not so much.”
“It’ll be fine,” he breathed. “Besides, I won’t be surprised if Kenny bails. He’s too busy chasing after Alex.”
She couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Him and Adam both, it seems.
“So… you wanna come?” Matt asked.
Callie chewed the inside of her mouth, considering. She knew she couldn’t avoid Adam forever. But dinner with the Bucks—and even Kenny—was more appealing than any conversation she and her estranged boyfriend could have.
“Sure, why not?”
* * * * * * * * * *
“So, we’re totally going out tonight, right?” Chuck asked.
“Affirmative,” James said. Trent nodded, his mouth full of food. Alex, however, didn’t say anything. She was too engrossed with her phone.
“Alex.”
She looked up. All three of them stared expectantly at her from across the table. “Oh, yeah,” she reflexively agreed. “I’m down.”
Chuck smiled. “Cool.”
The three of them started talking about where they should go, but Alex tuned them out, her thoughts turning inward as she looked back down at her phone. Her conversation with Cash last Saturday hadn’t just ended because Kenny had sent her one of the most adorable pictures she’d ever seen. She looked over their texts now, ruminating.
You should have texted me, she’d sent him back. I should have texted you.
I know, he’d replied. We’ve both made emotional mistakes. But I want to move forward, Alex. With you.
I’m worried we can’t. Everything is so fucked.
Let’s talk at Dynamite next week. I don’t want to do it over the phone.
Okay.
After that, they’d texted here and there throughout the week—he’d sent her screenshots of stupid things fans said to him on Twitter and more pictures and videos of his dog, she’d sent him silly little updates about how she was filling her time being stuck at the house. It was almost like things were normal between them. But Alex knew they were far from normal. And, depending how their conversation went today, she might need a few drinks with the boys.
“Hey, guys.”
Alex looked back up as Adam suddenly joined them. She locked her phone and put it face down on the table as she exchanged a glance with Chuck. Word had gotten around about what was going on with Adam and Callie; Alex had heard their names whispered more than once since she’d arrived at Daily’s Place. Adam must have picked up on it. He looked tired. She could only imagine how he felt.
“Hey, man,” Trent greeted. “How’s it going?”
“Wondering what the hell I’m doing here,” Adam returned. “I don’t have a match at all, on Dynamite or Dark. Kenny does. He’s wrestling Dark Order with Matt and Nick.”
Alex’s frown deepened. Kenny had mentioned that to her. She hadn’t known what to make of it then and still didn’t know what to make of it now.
“Well, come out with us tonight,” Chuck offered. “It’ll be better than sitting around doing nothing.”
Adam paused to look back at him. “What?”
“We’re going out for drinks after the show. You should come with.” He snapped his fingers, suddenly thinking of something. “It’ll be like that thing I’ve seen on Twitter. What was it?”
“Cowpals,” James provided.
“Yes!” Chuck proclaimed, an excited smile on his face. “It’ll be like Cowpals.”
Adam went back to his food. “That’s not a thing.”
“Oh, we’ll make it a thing,” Trent said.
A corner of Adam’s mouth quirked up. But the smirk was gone as soon as it appeared. “Well, let me know when and where, I guess. I’m probably gonna drink anyway, so might as well do it with y’all.”
“Will do,” Chuck said—just as Alex’s phone let out a chirp. She tried not to seem too eager as she picked it up off the table and looked at the screen.
Hey, if you’re free I’m in our locker room.
Alex stared at the text. Now or never.
Alright, I’ll be there in a minute. She hit “send” and grabbed her plate of half-eaten food as she stood from the table. “I’ll see you guys later,” she said, and she walked off before they could ask any questions, threw her plate in the trash, and went out the door in the direction of FTR’s locker room.
She tried to keep her mind blank as she walked, tried not to anticipate what Cash might say to her, but it didn’t stop her body from overheating with anxiety. By the time she reached his locker room, her heart was beating so hard that she worried it would burst from her chest. Her palm was clammy as she knocked.
“Come in,” he called from inside. She opened the door. He stood when he saw her. “Hey.”
“Hey,” she returned, and she crossed the room and hugged him.
Cash wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight. The familiar scent of his cologne filled Alex’s nose, and she was transported back to that night at Adam’s house, as they’d hugged in the hall in the dark. She remembered how she’d felt then, like she’d known exactly what she wanted. She wished she felt that way now.
“I’ve missed this,” Cash said. He rubbed his hand over her back in slow circles. Alex relished in the feel of it.
“I have, too.” She pulled back and looked at him in question. “Is Dax…?”
“He knows what’s going on. He won’t interrupt us or anything.”
She nodded. He took her by the hand and led her over to the couch. He didn’t let go after they sat down, their knees touching.
“Thank you for coming,” he said.
Alex looked down at their hands, watched and felt as he rubbed his thumb over her skin. “I’m surprised you wanted to talk,” she said, her voice small. “I haven’t exactly given you reason to want to.”
Cash squeezed her hand. “I shouldn’t have told you choose that night, Alex.”
She flicked her eyes up to meet his, stunned. Of all the things he could have said, she’d expected that the least.
“I shouldn’t have told you to sleep somewhere else,” he went on. “I was hurt, and it was a knee-jerk reaction. I’m sorry. We should have talked it through right then and there. We should have slept in the same bed.”
Alex’s eyes stung. It tugged on her heartstrings to hear him say that; she’d been aching to hear him say those exact words, and now that he had it was like a weight had been lifted from her chest. But it didn’t make the situation any easier. “I’m sorry that I hurt you,” she said. “I didn’t mean to.”
“I know you didn’t, sweetheart. I know.”
She frowned. But you don’t know what I’ve done since.
“Tell me what you’re thinking,” he said.
Alex glanced away again. She wrestled with herself, debating whether she really should tell him what she was thinking. But, in the end, her conscience won out—no matter how badly she knew the truth would hurt.
“Um, when I saw you walk into the hotel with Callie last week, it stung. And I know you just went out as friends; I believe you. Callie said the same thing. But, in that moment, I didn’t know what to think. I just saw what I saw, and I got jealous. I felt like I was the furthest thing from your mind. And on top of the shit with Dark Order it was just too much and I… I stayed with Kenny that night.”
She had to tell him. For the sake of honesty, she had to. He let go of her hand and ran his palm over his face. Her heart pounded in her ears.
“Did you sleep with him?” he asked.
“No,” she said.
He went quiet. Contemplative. When he spoke again, there was an edge to his voice that hadn’t been there before. “So what are you saying? That you want to be with him?”
Alex’s brow furrowed. “No. I’m saying exactly what I said. I was hurt and jealous when I saw you walk in with Callie, so I went running to Kenny. It was an emotional decision. But it felt like you’d already moved on.”
Cash cut his eyes at her. “Are you serious? Do you really think I’d do that to Adam? To you?”
“I don’t mean moved on with Callie,” she clarified with a breath. “I mean in general. I mean, you went from saying you wanted to talk to me to fleeing the arena without so much as a word. And then on top of it you went out drinking with my friend instead of trying to talk to me.”
“You could have just as easily texted me, Alex. And I would have told you that it was nothing.”
“I know I could have,” she admitted. “I’m not saying I’m blameless in this; I know I’m not. This whole thing has been a clusterfuck of jealousy, and mistakes, and miscommunication.”
Cash shook his head. “I don’t know. Maybe you’re right. Maybe everything is just too fucked now.”
Alex’s heart dropped into her stomach. With those seven words, just like that, the mood in the room suddenly shifted. There wasn’t hope or forgiveness between them anymore. There was a wall. A dead end of her own construction.
A tear rolled down Alex’s cheek and she wiped it away. A thought lingered on the tip of her tongue, and she couldn’t swallow it down. “Do you think things would be different right now if we’d talked it through that night?”
Cash didn’t look at her as he answered. “I did. But now I’m not sure.”
Alex’s chest constricted. There was nothing left to say; more words would be the casket that put her six feet under. She stood from the couch and walked to the door on shaky legs. As she gripped the doorknob, she looked remorsefully back at him. There was one last thing she had to say.
“For what it’s worth, I do think things would be different if we’d talked that night. But I don’t blame you for thinking otherwise.”
Cash looked up. Their eyes met one last time—his full of hurt, hers regret—and then Alex forced herself out the door.
* * * * * * * * * *
She went through the rest of the afternoon in a daze. She was there but not fully present. Trapped in her thoughts. Listless. Apathetic. And it damn near got her injured again.
A third of the way through the show, Alex, Trent, and Chuck had accompanied Orange to the ring for his interview with Tony Schiavone about his win over Chris Jericho the week before. But Jericho had interrupted. After Jericho had challenged Orange to a ridiculous Mimosa Mayhem match at All Out—which Orange had accepted—the rest of the Inner Circle had surrounded the ring and attacked them. Alex hadn’t reacted quickly enough, and Trent had literally pushed her to safety. It had been a shock to her system, and she’d watched helplessly from the floor as Inner Circle laid waste to her friends and drowned Orange in champagne. Now, as she followed Chuck and Trent through the entrance tunnel to the back, carrying a defeated and embarrassed Orange between them, all Alex wanted was to go back to the hotel, take a hot shower, and go to sleep. She didn’t want to go out anymore. She just wanted to crawl into bed and forget this day had ever happened.
“Alex.”
Someone caught her arm as she crossed through Gorilla. She looked up. Kenny stared down at her, concern etched into his blue eyes. Alex blinked; she’d walked right by him, completely unaware. He was in his gear. His match with the Bucks against Dark Order must be next.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” she returned. “They waterboarded Orange with champagne, not me.”
Kenny pursed his lips. “I don’t mean that. You seemed a little… out of it out there. What’s going on?”
She glanced after Chuck, Trent, and Orange as they disappeared backstage. Alex didn’t want to do this with Kenny. Not right now, in the middle of Gorilla, in front of Matt and Nick and a ton of other prying eyes. She wasn’t sure she even wanted to do it at all.
“I said I’m fine, Kenny. Alright?”
She pulled away from him and tried to go after her friends; but he caught her again. She bit down on her jaw in frustration as he stepped in front of her.
“I know that means you’re not,” he said. “What’s wrong?”
Alex let out an agitated breath. “It’s just been a shitty day, alright? But you’ll be happy to know that it’s officially over between Cash and me.”
She looked away, feeling that tightness in her chest again. She hadn’t meant to blurt that out, much less so sarcastically. But maybe it was good that she had. It was her raw emotion. Kenny should feel it.
He moved his hands to her shoulders, gently gripping, his fingers pressing into her skin. “Alex, I’m confused. You spent the night in my bed last week. The way things have been between us… I thought that was what you wanted?”
“It was,” she breathed. “When I woke up with you that morning… it was what I wanted. And when I hugged Cash ten minutes ago, before everything fell apart, that was what I wanted. My heart has been in two places for weeks, and there’s nothing fucking left, Kenny.”
She stared up at him, weary and broken, the truth laid bare at her feet. Kenny searched her eyes, just wanting to understand—
“Hey, Ken, we’re up.”
He closed his eyes at the sound of Nick’s voice. “Alright,” he breathed. He looked back at Alex. “I’m sorry. I promise we’ll talk about this later, okay?”
Alex drew in a steadying breath. She wasn’t sure she would want to talk about it later, but she nodded anyway. “Yeah, okay.”
He gave her a squeeze, and Alex watched as he turned and disappeared down the entrance tunnel, a hollow feeling in her gut.
* * * * * * * * * *
Callie had told Matt she’d meet them at the restaurant. She’d taken more time than she’d expected getting ready before she’d left, carefully applying her makeup and styling her hair. Even Britt had commented on how much care she was paying to her appearance just for dinner with Matt, Nick, and Kenny. Callie had brushed her off, claiming that she just felt good after winning her match against Penelope. But even she hadn’t fully believed herself as she’d said it.
Unsurprisingly, they’d chosen T.G.I. Friday’s. Callie spotted them through the window as she walked toward the building; Nick saw her and waved. When she got inside, she slid into the free spot in the booth next to Matt, across from Nick. Kenny was typing away on his phone, oblivious.
“Hey,” she greeted. “Sorry I’m a little late.”
“No worries,” Nick said. “We’ve only been here like five minutes.”
Matt smiled at her. “I’m glad you came.”
She smiled back. “Thanks for inviting me.”
She opened her menu and started looking—she was starving—when Nick cleared his throat. Callie glanced up. He was staring expectantly at Kenny, still engrossed with his phone. He nudged him with his elbow.
“What?” Kenny looked up, startled. “Oh, hey, Callie,” he said, and went right back to typing.
“Are you writing a novel there, bud?” Matt asked.
Kenny glanced up just long enough to shoot him a sarcastic glare. Matt looked apologetically back at Callie. She rolled her eyes and shook her head, as if to say it was fine.
“Congrats on winning your match tonight, by the way,” Nick said.
“Oh, thanks,” Callie smiled. “It felt good. Congrats on winning yours, too. I’m sure Alex appreciated your extra effort after the bell, Kenny.”
The air seemed to thicken as Kenny looked up at her snide comment. She didn’t need to elaborate—they all knew exactly what she meant. After Kenny had put away Dark Order’s Five with a One-Winged Angel, he’d grabbed a steel chair and nearly powerbombed him on it; Matt had pulled the chair out of the way just in time. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that he’d tried the stunt to avenge Alex for last week. In fact, he’d seemed to wrestle that whole match angry. He definitely looked angry now.
“I don’t know; we haven’t talked about it,” he evenly returned. “Actually, I think Alex is out drinking with your boyfriend right now.”
He set his phone down and opened his menu. Callie’s eyes narrowed. This was going to be a long dinner.
* * * * * * * * * *
“Okay. You, me, darts. If I win, you show me your boobs.”
Adam watched as Alex playfully rolled her eyes at Trent’s suggestion. She was a shot of Jose and a beer-and-a-half deep and feeling it; he could tell by the lazy smile on her lips. She always got that smile when she drank.
“And if I win?” she asked.
Trent looked up, deep in thought. “If you win… I’ll pay for your next set of gear.”
“Deal,” Alex immediately accepted, and she grabbed Trent’s wrist and pulled him over to the dart boards, a satisfied grin on his face. Adam shook his head as they went.
“Y’all are weird,” he said with a drink of his nearly empty beer.
“Oh come on,” Chuck returned. “You’ve known Alex longer than us. You were probably acquainted with Mariposa years before we ever gave her a name.”
He shook his head. “No comment.”
“That’s guilty,” James quipped.
“Yeah, it is,” Chuck smirked in agreement.
Adam drained the rest of his beer to hide his grin. He almost hadn’t come out with them tonight—he was surprised they’d still wanted to at all, after what the Inner Circle had done to Orange—but he was glad he had. If he hadn’t, he’d just be sitting in his hotel room, ruminating. About how his relationships with his girlfriend and his tag team partner were falling apart at the seams, about how he wasn’t sure who his real friends were anymore. Buzzing on whiskey and with nothing better to do, he’d confronted FTR back at the arena about what they’d done to Ricky Morton last week, about how Dax had faked a leg injury the week before that—and they’d completely turned it around on him. Something about how it wasn’t personal; how they’d needed to know if they could trust him after all the nasty things Matt, Nick, and Kenny had said about them; something about how he’d always been stuck in their shadow. They weren’t wrong. And with a tag team gauntlet match next week to determine who would get a shot at Adam and Kenny’s championships at All Out, Adam wasn’t sure he wanted to give Matt and Nick yet another opportunity to eclipse him.
“You guys want another?” James asked.
“Yeah,” Chuck said while Adam nodded. “Put it on Trent’s tab.”
James pointed at him as he stood from the table. “Was already planning on it.”
He walked off, and Adam’s eyes drifted to where Alex played darts with Trent. She stood close to him, her fingers laced behind her back, and just as he was about to throw his dart, she tilted her chin up, pursed her lips, and blew into his ear. He flinched, and she let out a loud laugh as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to say something in her ear. Alex pushed him away, a flirtatious grin on her face, and Trent turned back to the board and threw his dart.
“Trent certainly seems to like Mariposa,” Adam remarked.
Chuck scoffed as he glanced over his shoulder. “Are you kidding? He loves her.” He turned back around. “It annoyed me when I had feelings for Alex, too.”
Adam went stiff. He reflexively reached for his beer only to remember he’d finished it. He gripped his empty glass anyway, just to have something to do. “Too?” he shot.
Chuck met his question with skeptical eyes. “Come on, man. I recognize that look.”
Adam shifted in his seat. “I don’t know what look you’re talking about,” he said—but Chuck didn’t buy that, either.
“Sure, you don’t,” he dismissed.
Adam bit down on his jaw and glanced toward the bar. James needed to get back with the beer, already.
“Look, I get it,” Chuck went on. “Alex is your friend, and your relationship status is complicated right now. And so is Alex’s,” he said with a roll of his eyes. “Plus, there was that time Callie hit her with a chair because she thought you two were screwing around. I don’t think I’d want to prove her right, either.”
Adam rolled his eyes. “Is there a point you’re trying to make?”
He shook his head. “Not really. I’m just saying; I recognize that look.”
James returned with a beer pitcher in hand, and not a moment too soon. “Trent was feeling generous,” he smirked as he set it on the table.
Adam grabbed it and refilled his glass. The way this night was going, he might need a whole pitcher to himself before it was over.
* * * * * * * * * *
Alex almost hadn’t come out tonight, but she was glad she had. If she hadn’t, she’d just be laying in her and Chuck’s hotel room, replaying her conversation with Cash and all of the decisions that had led up to it. The boys had no idea what had happened; she didn’t want to tell them, didn’t want to talk about it. Thankfully, they’d been too preoccupied with what had happened to Orange and the upcoming tag team gauntlet match to ask her why she’d been so spacey all day. She hoped it stayed that way. She just wanted to forget about it.
“You do realize you’re about to lose, right?”
She pursed her lips at Trent. “We haven’t been scoring properly.”
“But I’ve gotten more closer to the bullseye than you.”
Alex just took another sip of her beer. Trent squared up and tossed his final dart. It stuck in the single bullseye.
He gave her a cocky smirk. “I’d say that’s a pretty definitive victory.”
“Congratulations,” she slyly returned.
He rubbed his hands together, basking in his win. “So, where do you want to do this? The bathroom? Actually, no—I can wait until we get back to the hotel. I want you to be as comfortable as possible.”
Alex stepped close and put her hand on his shoulder; he reflexively put his on her hip. She frowned apologetically up at him. “Oh, Trent. Mariposa made the bet, but it’s Alex’s body.”
His head fell back. “Goddammit,” he breathed.
A wide grin broke out over her face. “Come on, I need a refill.”
They walked back to the table. Adam sat alone with a nearly empty pitcher of beer, his phone in his hand. Alex gave him curious look as she sat down across from him.
“Where’re Chuck and James?”
He glanced up at her. “Oh, they went to buy shots and a round of pool on Trent’s tab.”
“What?” With that Trent hurried off to the other side of the bar, leaving Alex alone with Adam. She reached for the beer pitcher.
“Want more?” she offered.
He shook his head. “No,” he said, and so she emptied it into her glass. “So, did you lose?” he asked her.
“Yeah,” she answered. “But he’s not seeing anything.”
Adam shook his head again, a smirk on his lips. “You’re a tease, you know that?”
“I take that as a compliment, thank you very much.” She grinned at him as she reached for her purse and pulled out her phone. She’d put it on silent and thrown it in her bag as soon as they’d arrived, keeping it out of sight and out of mind; but she couldn’t avoid the temptation any longer. She was expecting to see a whole lot of nothing—but she had a text, unsurprisingly, from Kenny. Her pulse started to race as she read it.
I’m sorry that you’ve felt torn in two the last few weeks, Alex. It kills me to know that I’ve been a cause of it. All I want is for you to be happy, no matter what that means. I understand if you need some time and space. I’ll be here. You have my whole heart.
He ended it with a red heart emoji. A chaotic mix of emotions battled within Alex as she stared at it—anger, frustration, love. She couldn’t tell which one of them would win out in the end.
“Is everything alright?”
She looked up at Adam’s question. “Yeah,” she noncommittally answered as she slipped her phone back in her purse. “It was just a text from Kenny.”
He arched a brow. “You’re not gonna answer it?”
“No,” she returned. “Not right now.”
The atmosphere grew awkward and she took a sip of her beer. Alex didn’t think he would ask; he couldn’t ask without opening up the floor for questions about his personal life, too, and she knew he didn’t want to talk about his any more than she wanted to talk about hers.
But she thought wrong.
“Do you want to be with him?”
Alex glanced across the bar. It didn’t look like the boys would be coming back anytime soon, so she obliged him. “The answer to that question seems to change every day.”
He nodded. “I guess it’s the same for Cash?”
She looked down at her drink. “Well, Cash pretty much closed the door on us today so. No.”
If Adam was surprised to hear that, Alex couldn’t tell. He had a quiet, introspective look on his face, like he wasn’t sure what to say. No—like he had something to say but wasn’t sure he should. She turned the tables on him before he had the chance to spit it out.
“What about Callie? Is that how you feel about her?”
He nodded. “Yeah,” he admitted.
Alex let out a frustrated huff. She propped her elbow on the table and leaned her head in her hand, tired. “Why?” she asked. “What happened? Did you fall out of love, or something?”
He stared at a spot on the table. “I don’t know if I fell out of love so much as her insecurities just became a self-fulfilling prophecy.”
Alex froze. She gripped her drink harder, pressing her fingertips against the glass. Her voice came out nervous as she asked, “A self-fulfilling prophecy about what?”
Adam’s eyes met hers, vulnerable and blue. Obvious. “You know what, Alex.”
Alex’s heart leapt into her throat. This wasn’t happening. Not here, not now, not after all the other shit she’d already gone through. What was he thinking? She couldn’t deal with it. She couldn’t.
“I’m gonna go make sure Trent doesn’t kill them,” she said, and she grabbed her purse and hurried away in panic, pretending that her oldest friend hadn’t just admitted that to her.

Baby I'm not alright, but I'm okay (Part 7)
Cash Wheeler x f reader
Tumblr media
Previous chapter
Waking up this morning, y/n slowly opened her eyes, welcoming the warm sunlight. Daniel had left late last night when the rain stopped, but the scent of his cologne still lingered in the air. y/n smiled at her memories of yesterday. Of the support Dan had given her during her panic attack.  Who would have thought he wouldn't walk away scared or tell her, like the others, that she shouldn't act like that.
The girl stretched lazily and got out of bed to make breakfast.
In the quaint and cozy kitchen, a vibrant young lady meticulously crafted culinary masterpieces with an air of unwavering determination. Her hands danced nimbly across the countertop, measuring ingredients with precision and finesse. As she stirred, sautéed, and whisked, the aroma of fragrant spices filled the air, tantalizing the senses. y/n's eyes sparkled with passion as she poured her heart and soul into each dish, blending flavors and textures with impeccable skill. The rhythmic tapping of a knife against the cutting board provided a soothing soundtrack to her culinary symphony, creating a sense of peace and tranquility.
Tumblr media
Finished with breakfast, y/n found her phone. Her phone had been bursting with notifications since early morning, but because the sound was off, she hadn't seen any of them until now. Several hundred people had subscribed to her Instagram. Some even wrote messages to her in DMs. Most of them were very toxic messages.  In addition to notifications of new subscribers, y/n was tagged in some photos. The girl opened one of them and was horrified to notice that the picture showed her hugging Daniel and geotagging the park they met at yesterday. Things got even worse when y/n read the caption under the photo.
“Wrestling star's private life secret revealed! Cash Wheeler, known for his brutal and little-talking image in the ring, was recently spotted in the company of a mysterious lady. For a long time, Wheeler has shied away from discussing his personal relationships, preferring to keep his private life under wraps...”
Under the photo was a link for the full article on the site. Y/n still didn't understand what it was about her and how she deserved all that was coming at her at once. She opened the link and continued reading the article.
“...This time, however, wrestling fans got a rare chance to see Cash Wheeler in an unusual situation for him. Last night, September 27, a Reddit user posted photos of the pair strolling through a park, exchanging smiles. Usually so focused and stern in the ring, Cash seems to have changed his look, becoming more relaxed and open in the company of his enigmatic companion.
The gossip and speculation have not been long in coming. Reddit users are wondering who is this mysterious girl who won the wrestler's heart? How long have they been together? And how have they managed to keep their relationship a secret until now? Undoubtedly, this exciting event caused a storm of emotions among Cash Wheeler's fans. Fans even found some photos from Dynamite that showed Wheeler's new girlfriend with a full access badge, including backstage.
We were able to find out that Cash Wheeler's new girlfriend Y/n Mercer serves on the Asheville Police Department...”
The girl couldn't read any further. She locked the screen and tossed the phone aside. What to say to her brother and how to explain to him that she wasn't hiding her relationship from him because there was no relationship as such. She and Daniel are just friends, right? At the thought of Wheeler, her lips curved into a nervous smile. How would Dan react? Wouldn't it become a problem for him? Rational thoughts quickly began to override the voice in her head. It was screaming that trouble was coming and she needed to run away sooner rather than later. Literally and figuratively.
Y/n literally ran to her bedroom and started packing quickly. She took only the necessary things: documents, several sets of clothes, a laptop and chargers for her gadgets. Y/n began to gasp with panic. She wasn't ready to go through all of this again and alone. She shook and slid down the wall to the floor. Her eyes filled with tears, her hands were shaking, and she was terribly short of breath.
Tumblr media
Y/n sobbed for quite some time. She was just beginning to calm down as she heard her phone ringing in the living room. Getting up on slightly shaky legs, she walked to the common room, picked up her phone and saw a missed call from her brother.
“Damn, I'm not ready for this conversation yet...”

Your mouth was half open as you were applying mascara, doing your best to keep focus and not ruin the last step of your makeup.
A pair of strong hands squeezed your hips from behind, your heartbeat was frantic as you looked over your shoulder
“Geez, Dan. You scared the shit out of me!” One quick glance back at the mirror confirmed your suspicions “And you also smudged my makeup”
“I’m sorry” He chuckled and turned you around to face him.
Daniel took a Q-tip from the small transparent acrylic box along with your micellar cleansing water. He soaked one side of the cotton tip with the clear liquid before he cleaned up the black, smudged mascara off your under-eye area. “Voilà!”
“Thank you” A small smile was plastered on your lips “I see you chose the olive green one then” Your hands caressed the soft material of his short-sleeved Henley “It will look great with the black boots”
“Mhm” Was the only response you had back until your eyes met his on the mirror
Your question came in the form of a small whisper “What?”
“You look so good right now” His low growl resonated in your ear and warm palms covered your round belly. “I love this color on you. Looks so sexy”.
Daniel’s eyes swam through your body, his eyes lingered on the matching teal lingerie and you could see the outline of his cock pressing against his jeans as he dipped his head down.
His blonde beard was soft against your neck, an opposite feeling to his sharp teeth on your skin
“Baby, we’re gonna get late to Dax’s birthday party” You raised your hand up to play with the smooth sandy blonde strands
“Oh trust me, Dax’s the last thing on my mind right now” His hands traveled up to cup your full breasts, expert fingers soon finding your nipples underneath the fabric
“Dan” You panted as his fingers softly pushed the bra straps down your arms
His teeth created a small line of delicate bites along your skin, from your neck to your shoulder.
His tongue soon followed, leaving a wet trail across your collarbone until he reached the right side of your neck
“We’re gonna get so late” You chuckled before moaning when his hand cupped your clothed core
“And who gives a fuck?” He smiled against your skin, groaning when the scent of your perfume inebriated his senses “God, the things I want to do with you right now”
You took his hand and sank it inside your lace panties “We’ll have to make it quick though, otherwise we’ll miss the party”. A soft moan escaped your lips when the pad of his fingers circled around your clit
“Oh, my sweet puppy. This is just a silly little warm up, beautiful”. He chuckled “Because once I have my way with you, you’ll be begging for us to stay at home”.

Meant To Be (Cash Wheeler x Reader)
Chapter Fifteen
Tumblr media
You didn't know exactly why, but you carried Cash's envelope with you at all times. No matter what you did, where you were, it was always with you. Buying groceries? Take the envelope with you. Jogging? Take the envelope with you. At the office, scheduling for the next days? Take. The. Envelope. With. You.
Multiple times, you had opened it, desperate to find out what he had to say. But every time, you stopped yourself, for reasons unknown to you. With each passing day, you missed him more and more, until it became almost unbearable. A whole week had passed, and it was yet again Wednesday. As you lay in your hotel bed, you felt a sad smile spread across your lips. You were in North Carolina, and you were supposed to meet Cash's mom today...if things were still intact. She and some of his friends along with other family members were at ringside tonight. You had been excited for this day, because Cash had told you many sweet stories about his mother. And you had secretly hoped that she would've liked you...and you'd officially become a part of the family - something you craved ever since you had completely lost yours. You grabbed your phone to check the time, and your eyes fell on the envelope underneath it again. You softly ran your fingers over the white paper, and decided now was the time.
You were ready.
So you opened it and started reading...
Y/N,
I hope you will read this at some point not so far in the future. First of all, let me tell you the most important thing: I am sorry. I have messed this up, and there is no one else to blame but me. None of this is your fault, in case you were wondering. I know you always place the blame on you. But don't do it this time.
I've read the book you gave me for my birthday. It's beautiful. And I think it helped me understand us better. What we have, or had. What it could have been. What it was always supposed to be.
The silver thread in the sky that Rumo sees in the book, that eventually leads him to Rala, his one true love. I have experienced that too, with you. In the cafeteria. I may not have seen a thread, but I was drawn to you from the very beginning.
You are the end of my silver thread. My only one. Not Lindsay, not wrestling. You.
And I hope that I am at the end of your thread. If you think I am, please give me a call. Let me explain everything you don't understand yet, because I was too afraid to let you in. I can't afford to lose you, and I won't go down without a fight. Let us talk.
I miss you. Everything about you. Every place feels empty without you, everything seems to be unimportant if I can't share it with you.
Until our threads bring us together again.
- Cash
You didn't realize you were crying until you noticed the tear drops buckling the paper. You wiped your eyes a few times, and calmed yourself down, taking in deep breaths. Then, the corners of your mouth lifted up.
He had read the book. Didn't think it was cheesy. And he felt the same about the thread connecting two lovers: he pictured the two of you. Just like you did.
You re-read the letter a few times, and then took the phone in your hand. When you clicked on his name to call him, you couldn't help but smile to yourself. You missed him.
"H-hello." His voice was shaky, you could tell he was anxious.
"Hi."
Although you felt you were now ready to talk to him, you had no idea what to say. As a result, there was a long pause between the two of you, until you finally found your voice again. "I've read your letter, and it's...Let us talk in person today. After your match. Okay?"
You heard a sigh of relief on the other end before he spoke. "Okay." Then he cleared his throat, and continued. "I'll see you right after our match, so we can go somewhere private."
"Yeah, see you then." You closed your eyes, both excitement and fear consumed you now. "Bye Cash."
"See you later, Darlin." There it was again. Darlin. How you had missed it.
You didn't even realize he had hung up some time ago, as your thoughts circled about him calling you by your pet name. You longed for hearing it in person. Hopefully everything would be okay again...
------------------------------------------------
As soon as Cash hung up on you, he called Dax. He was overly excited. And scared for his life. What if he messed it up this time? What if he would not find the right words? Everything just HAD to work out this time. He wanted you back. He needed you back.
"Morning, Cash. I hope it's urgent." Right, Dax was not a morning person. His voice was raspy, and Cash could feel his annoyance through the phone.
"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you. I...I might need some romantic advice, and some words of encouragement. We'll talk tonight."
There was a short silence between them as Dax needed to process his best friend's words. Then he let out a hearty laughter. "Can't believe the letter worked. What did you write, man? Has never worked for me in my entire life! If you want my advice, it's simple: let her in. Tell her what's going on in your thick skull. And finally tell her you love her. She's the only person on this planet that doesn't know. You go and get your girl, Cash!"
"What if I-"
"No Cash. No but, no if, no nothing. You will get Y/N back tonight. Period. You apparently know the right things to say. Just think about the letter. What could possibly go wrong?"
Cash smiled, his friend was right. He knew what he wanted, he knew what needed to be said and done this time, and there wasn't a chance he'd let himself mess it up. "Thanks, Dax."
"Don't thank me for that. But I expect to be your best man once ya'll getting married..."
He wanted to protest, tell his friend to slow down a bit, but Dax had ended the call as soon as the words had left his mouth. So Cash sat there, still a little freaked out, and now also thinking about his friend's joke. If it was one.
-----------------------------------------
You had no idea what was going on. You just noticed the match between Proud and Powerful and FTR ended way earlier than planned. When you watched one of the monitors backstage, you saw Cash was out after a few minutes, kneeling at the side of the ring and being taken care off right there. Something had happened. Something bad. You had asked some other crew members if they knew what was going on, if he was okay, but no one could give you an answer.
You felt dizzy, like you were about to pass out. Your stomach turned as you rushed through the seemingly endless hallways backstage, until you made it to the medical rooms, hoping he'd be there and not be brought to the hospital. When you saw Dax stand in the doorframe, you let out a sigh and called out to him.
"Is he okay? What happened?!" You abruptly came to a stop in front of him, a little out of breath and uncertain of what to do next. He pulled you into a tight hug and rubbed your back. "Hey Y/N. Doc's taking care of him now. He's getting stitches. Something sliced his arm open, probably a loose hook, that's all I know." He paused for a second and looked at you. "You're really pale. No need to panic, he's gone through worse. He's gonna be alright. He asked for you though...so if you wanna go in there, he'd be really happy to see ya. Misses you like crazy." You took a step back and nodded at him before knocking at the doorframe. Before you finally entered the room, you turned back to Dax and whispered. "I miss him too." He gave you a knowing smile and nodded back at you.
Your knock on the door brought Cash out of his daze. He was exhausted, afraid of what his injury might mean for his career...and once he saw you standing there, also incredibly happy you'd shown up. "Hi Y/N." His voice was weak, as if he was afraid speaking up might scare you away.
You walked over to the stretcher he was sitting on, and thought about sitting down next to him, but decided against it. So you stood there, next to him, and soothingly put your hand on his shoulder, rubbing little circles into his skin. "How bad is it?" You asked, both Cash and Doc Sampson. The latter waited for Cash's okay so he could explain to you that the object had damaged some of his nerves and although this would not be a career-ending injury, he would feel the aftershocks of it for a long time. If everything was going well, he'd get his grip back. Eventually.
Then the doctor looked between the two of you, and dismissed himself to give you some privacy. When he was gone, you took his place in front of Cash, and weakly smiled at him, your hand on his thigh, before you repeated your question. "How bad is it, Cash?" You watched him slowly form a fist with his right hand, eyes flinching in pain. "He said I was lucky. An inch lower and all my nerves would have been cut through." He let out a puff of air. "I just don't feel very lucky recently..." Then, his eyes finally met yours. "Thank you for stopping by though. I really appreciate your concern."
He sighed heavily. "Can...can we talk now? Please?" You thought about it for a moment, unsure if this was the right time or place to discuss your relationship problems. But just as you nodded your head at him, both of you heard quite a turmoil coming from outside. Footsteps came closer and closer, and you heard a female voice. Although you didn't understand a word that was said, you could hear the sheer panic in her voice and you automatically knew that it had to be his mother. "Dax! Is he in there?!" The bald man tried his hardest to make her and all the others accompanying her stop in their tracks so the two of you could still have a moment, but he didn't stand a chance against so many people.
Cash watched in shock as you got up from your chair and told him you'd talk another time. "Darlin', please don't go. I need to talk to you. Now. I can't wait any longer. Please don't leave." He grabbed your hand and held it tight with his good hand.
Your heart skipped a beat, or multiple beats. He had said it again, and it sounded so beautiful in your ears. "We will talk, I promise. But you need to tell all these people outside that you are okay. They are worried." You explained while cupping his cheek with your free hand. "They're your family, Cash." With those words, you stepped away from him, and he let go of you. His eyes were glued to your frame as you left the room, while he whispered to himself.
"But you're my family, too."

Reblogging for those who missed! Hope you enjoy!
If He Was Yours, You’d Do The Same
Pairing: Cash Wheeler x female!reader
Category: Fluff
Word count: 1,648
Summary: During a conversation with your best friend, Anna Jay, you can’t help but ramble about your boyfriend, Cash Wheeler. Meanwhile, Cash has a similar conversation with his best friend and tag team partner, Dax Harwood.
Warnings: Female reader, uses she/her pronouns when referring to reader, minimal swearing
Tagging: @wheeler-omega-kingston Hope you enjoy it! I changed and added so much, I hope it turned out well.
A/N: This was inspired by the song Bragger by Kelsea Ballerini. I listen to this song quite often, and it’s been stuck in my head for the past week. So, I ended up playing around with some ideas using some lyrics from this song, and this was created. Here’s the inspiration if you wanna give it a listen!
You were currently sitting backstage with your best friend, Anna Jay chatting away, catching up on what happened since you saw each other last week. Anna was telling all about how she finally decided to give a show that everyone’s been gushing over a chance; turns out she hated it. As she continued to fill you in on her dilemma of not knowing which nail polish color she wanted to get when the two of you went for your monthly manicure and pedicure, you attention was directed towards the door upon hearing that all too familiar laugh, Cash Wheeler.
You had been dating Cash for the past year and a half, and it’s the best relationship you’ve ever been in; you couldn’t be happier. Cash was everything you had ever dreamed of and then some. He’s got the look, he’s got the touch, he’s got the arms that make me clutch…. he deserves the spotlight…. and he knows how to treat my body and heart right.
You didn’t realize Anna had asked you a question and when you didn’t answer she tried calling your name to grab your attention, but she had no luck. Out of ideas, Anna stood up from her chair and moved to stand in front of you, blocking your view to you the most handsome man you’ve ever seen. When your eyes met hers, she had this look on her face letting you know what you very quickly realized; you completely forgot about the conversation the two of you were having, ultimately ignoring her.
“I’m so sorry Anna. I didn’t realize—” You began to apologize; your head hung in guilt, but she cut you off. “Relax. I’m not mad. Honestly, I knew you weren’t listening when you heard his laugh, and truthfully, I suppose it’s what I get for doing it to you when Jack enters the room.” She admits, letting out a chuckle, causing you to do the same.
You resumed your conversation with Anna and, as the topics came and went, Cash couldn’t help himself from stealing glances at you, seeing you so absorbed in your conversation with Anna and hearing your laugh was not only music to his ears; it made his heart flutter. He hadn’t felt like this in years. You made him feel appreciated, cared for, and loved; loved like he’s never felt before.
“Come on, man.” Dax snapped his fingers in front of his best friend’s face. “You can drool over her when you get back to the hotel. We got to got over our plan for our match tonight. I ain’t loosing to the Ass Boys and neither are you.” Dax half joked, nudging his tag team partner with his elbow before tugging him along to the locker room. Cash knew Dax was right. FTR doesn’t loose easy, and they damn sure ain’t loosing to the Ass Boys anytime soon. Titles on the line or not; it was never gonna happen. Cash nodded and let Dax lead him away from you, down the hall and around the corner.
The topic of your conversation with Anna turned into the two of you sharing stories about your respective boyfriends. You leaned forward giving her your undivided attention as she told you all about how Jack is super thoughtful when it comes to important dates; she mentioned how he always makes her birthdays feel so special and that those were her favorites. You smiled as she gushed about Jack. When she finally finished all she was saying, she quickly realized just how long she had been rambling about Jack. “I didn’t mean to get carried away like that.” She apologized with wide eyes.
“Don’t worry about it. It’s only fair that you listen to me gush about Cash now.” You joked, sticking your tongue out at her as she agreed, laughing as she did so. Once the laughter died down, Anna leaned forward like you had done when she began talking, letting you know you’ve got her full attention. “I don’t wanna be a bragger, but my man’s a heart attacker.” You paused to gage Anna’s reaction, and when you see her grinning and motioning for you to continue, you oblige. “I know everyone gets sick of me showing them pictures of Cash and talking about him whenever I can, but I can’t help that I flaunt him all the time. I know a lot of people would agree—do agree, according to the internet, that he’s hotter than a Saturday night. You know what I’m talking about because you do the same with Jack. Honestly, if he were a wine, he’d be the shelf at the top, and if he were a house, he’d be the end of the block. I get none of that probably makes sense to you but, to me, it does.” You didn’t realize you had been staring off in space at some point during all that but, whenever your eyes meet Anna’s, she’s nodding along all giddy that it sounded like you finally found your prince—no your king because that’s exactly how you treated him, and he treated you like you’re his queen; Cash would be quick to tell you that, to him, you are one.
“It makes total sense! That’s exactly how I feel about Jack too!” Anna exclaimed, happy that finally she knows how to put her feelings into words about her boyfriend. You were beyond relieved that she understood what you were trying to explain the best you knew how. You were happy you had Anna because if anyone understands how you feel and what you’re going through; it’s her, and you love her for it.
“I know there’s always those negative and nasty comments online about Cash and me, but none of that matters. Wanna know why?” You watched her eyebrows furrow and her head tilt. “‘Cause all that really matters is he’s mine.” You finish, proud to know for a fact that he wants you and only you.
Back in the locker room, Cash just couldn’t focus. Dax tried everything to keep his best friend’s attention on their game plan, but, of course, he failed much like Anna did at keeping your attention previously. Dax knew there was no point in continuing their little meeting. “Alright, talk to me. I know you’re thinking about her so spill.” Dax more or less commanded, reaching over and making Cash look at him.
“Hmm?” Cash slightly jumped, bringing himself back to reality. “Sorry. I don’t mean to be ignoring out meeting, but today is one of those days where she’s all I can think about.” Cash responded. “Are you sure you really want me to talk about her? You know how I can get.” He joked, laughing and remembering all the times Dax has teased him for being “hopelessly in love”. He heard Dax joining in with the laughter, most likely remembering the same things.
“Yeah, I’m sure. I tease you about it because it’s been too long since I’ve seen you this genuinely happy, and honestly, I’m beyond happy for you. She’s good for you.” Dax commented, truly happy his tag partner, best friend, and brother finally found you. Dax saw how the two of you looked at each other, how you two treated each other, and how in love you both were. It was reminiscent of him and his wife—true love, if he had to label it.
Cash nodded, “Just remember, you wanted to know.” He chuckled before beginning to collect his thoughts. “The way she makes me feel is like I can do anything, you know? I love how she’s always looking out for me, how she genuinely cares about what I’m feeling, how she listens—she’s my rock. I don’t know how I made it this long or this fat without her. Everything I do for her, she does for me, and I believe that’s something special.” Cash looks at the man he considers a brother when he’s done talking, only to find Dax with the biggest smile on his face.
“Yeah. You’re in love and, if you ask me, you just found your future wife.” Dax beams. Obviously, he’s known Cash for years, but in the few short years he’s known you, Dax and you have become close friends therefore, he knows all too well how you feel about Your boyfriend. You’ve gushed to Dax on a few occasions about Cash when Cash wasn’t in the room along with text messages and phone calls. “Let’s go.” Dax stood and began heading for the door to exit the locker room.
“Where are we going? What about our meeting for our match?” Cash looks at Dax, confused and curious on what was running through his friend’s mind.
“Figured you’d wanna be with your woman before we get pulled into different directions. As for the meeting, we didn’t necessarily need it… at least not this second. So, you coming or am I gonna be hanging out with my future sister-in-law and Anna alone?” Dax questioned, opening the door and heading back around the corner and down the hallway where the pair last saw you.
Cash didn’t have to be told twice. He was out of his chair and almost caught up to Dax before Dax could round the corner. Cash’s face lit up when he saw you again, still sitting with Anna and chatting away. “I don’t wanna be a bragger, but my girl’s a heart attacker. She’s hotter than a Saturday night.” Cash avowed, joining you, Anna, and Dax at the table; you blushed at his words while Anna stifled a laugh, partly for your reaction and partly because you stated the same thing earlier in the evening.
You and Cash found yourselves wrapped up in your own little world while Anna and Dax shared a knowing look; you and Cash were meant to be.
