After 100 long years I decided to get rid of my prehistoric skates 😫😂... #loyalassleo ... I finally wore the new ones and for about a hour , I fuckN hated em! 😫 ... I mean ~ I FUCKN hated EM! 🙄😫... the main reason why I didn’t wanna get new ones! ... the old ones skated so good for me ... but they really had it ...the bearings was beat up , the boot was ran over , and tbh they didn’t even have a tongue... 🤦🏽‍♂️😫smh ... they been done!!! .... DONE !! DONE!! ... they shoulda been trashed after my injury anyway lol ... smh I really blamed it on another skater 😝... but deep down I knew it was them ragity ass skates 😫🤦🏽‍♂️😂 Even tho, I started out hating the new ones. After a while, we started getting along and now I think we got a bond lol 😝... they comfortable asf, the ride is smooth and they Are a lot faster then the old ones ... But tbh when I put them on I kept complaining... they too big 🙄... I want my money back 🙄... the wheels stuck! 🙄 😂😂😂 being a #jackass ... just complaining cause they wasn’t what I was “use to” ... not realizing, they are really #winning ...and actually gonna make me a better skater. After skating ... I had to brainstorm a bit and think about this #process ... I asked myself ... what else was I holding on to ?! ... what else was I comfortable with and not willing to give up ?! 🤔 Sometime we don’t realize how much we are holding ourself back from our full potential because we get stuck with what we are “use to” ... Not wanting to be uncomfortable for a min ... I been needing new skates for AT LEAST 3 years!! ... it seemed so small because it was just my skates but once I looked at the big picture .... it’s a lot of small things that make a big impact on our success, growth and everyday life... I say this to say ... let some of that shit go!!! Get uncomfortable for a min !.. it’s may not be a good feeling at first but eventually you will adapt and skate right into a new season !!! Don’t wait as long as I did!!!
