One of the scenes that gives me a chuckle to imagine how it went, is the one with the board. Strabo arrives looking serious like always and Sejanus is walking behind him with a sad dog face, head down and trying to blend in with the walls 😭

Strabo is straight to the point and looks all the members in the eyes to say in a tired but firm voice that he wants Sejanus' certificate. What do they ask for in return?

Only one teacher complains about whether it's morally right to let someone so troubled graduate blah blah blah blah. And only shuts up when Casca who usually ignores everyone answer back -in a voice that sound like "Are you stupid?"- if they really thinks that sad eye and shy teen is a dangerous rebel leader? 😐

Some teachers consider protest but Casca speak louder to avoid they do: "He's not a criminal for Panem sake, he's just young and dumb."

His voice blurring the words and he goes back to leaning back on the table, squeezing his head because it hurts.

After the 5 seconds of awkwardness Saytiria is the one who says they should discuss the details and a ball is made of teachers trying to decide which part of the academy this man should remodel.

"In the music room...", "What are you talking about? The library needs...", "Who do you think you are? The technology club is the future of Pan-,", "Shut up. Those kids need art and the easels are getting old-" The talk is endless, they take a long time there.

Strabo thinks whether to thank Casca but what on earth is he doing? He's mumbling to himself...Eh maybe next time. So he decides to encourage Sejanus who has been behaving too well without saying complaints, "Maybe you can eat ice cream when we get back. You have doing good by no try to cause any new trouble while I try to fix the mess you already did."

Strabo pat pat his very tall son thinking he's father of the year and Sejanus frowns, very confused because what the fuck that mean. Fortunately Professor Sickle at that moment interrupt everybody with a loud voice: "You are all wrong!!! What the academy needs is a new gym!!!! In that way we should stop having such weak students. With a new gym they would be strong and resilient!!!!! Exactly what they need to survive in this world."

Besides Sejanus was her aid. That gives her extra rights to choose where the investment will be <3

Saytiria claps her palms together announcing the end of the discussion. Is done. You see what they say healthy body, healthy mind. A gym is what we need, they are about to shake Strabo's hand to close the deal when Sejanus who had been very quiet speaks up:

"Stop!"

Of course, Sejanus had to wait until then to talk. It's more dramatic. More shocking.

Strabo is screaming and crying inside wondering: Why? why? why? Why are you doing this to me? SEJANUUUUUUUS!!!! but he tries to look impassive without withdrawing his hand but Saytiria recoils her and all the teachers turn their attention to Sejanus.

This boy is still not used to the attention, and is shaking a bit like a chihuahua but reminds himself that it's the right thing to do. What he is going to ask for is just the right thing and he gains the determination to say: "If I am going to graduate Coryo should be able to graduate too!!!!! He works a lot and it's the least he deserves!!!! There will be no deal if my friend is not included!!!!!"

He said it too fast so they really don't understood him well. Only the words "Coryo." and "Graduate" were clear.

"Who is Coryo" A teacher asks and Saytiria says: "It's Coriolanus Snow!!!!" Her golden child ofc!

There's a chorus going "Ooohh" because they finally understand who he's talking about and quickly they decide it's okay because everyone likes Snow or respects his legacy. No problem let's close the deal.

Sejanus opens his mouth in surprise because he doesn't know what he expected but definitely not that they would accept so easily. Still no complaints. Strabo rolls his eyes for a moment but is okay. Snow boy saved Sejanus and he's not unbearable like his father. Yes yes. Let's close the deal once and for all but now it's Casca who interrupts everyone.

Have yall see that video of the cat holding his head and screaming in despair? That was Casca in that moment. That man even got up from his seat, pounded the table and coherently explained with foam coming out of his mouth that Snow couldn't graduate!!!! He is a liar!!! A cheat!!! Dishonest snake!!!! Who broke the rules and cannot be forgiven!!!!

Casca swear to everyone that Snow is A DANGER and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. No one is listening to him anymore.

Everyone sees it this way 🤨🤨🤨🤨 and silently Saytiria and Strabo shake hands. In whispers he tells her that he will send his investment proposal for the new gym later. She says ok and Strabo who is honestly annoyed of everyone, leaves, once at the door he calls Sejanus who was in shock listening in horror to Casca because t-that's not true!!! 🥺

Strabo has to drag him out because he knows his son and doesn't want Sejanus to get into an argument with Casca, they will never stop to argue and he don't want see that. Thank you.

The rest of the board also begins to leave, at first discreetly, then with great brazenness, everybody do it while looking at Casca as if he had lost his mind.

Casca definitely feels that way when he realizes later that he is alone with no one to listen to him.
