Sorry if this is unrelated to this post, but the person behind the original tweet (@/Ovirtuous_) is kind of a problematic person.

He's a racist, anti-black, he said the N word, he was weird toward minors, faked being bi, does apologizes in which he guilts trips some people, LGBT-phobic... the list goes on.

He's been called out so many times, but he keeps denying it and coming back, and he still keeps interacting with people on Twitter, including cartoontwt.

So if any of you are on Twitter, and if you see this person and tries to interact with you, please block / report this user.

The more I hear about starboy and lost potential the less im inclined to care cuz how do cartoontwt complain about "disney not taking risks" yet insist on pairing a princess with another white guy. And a guy who is supposed to be modeled after her GRANDDAD? Ew.

Honestly if they want new things they could've pushed for Hispanic or black prince since we don't have any of those. Or better yet just give Magnifico and Amaya a son. Don't have to be biological, we don't have a prince by adoption. a prince forced to up against his evil dad who actually cared about him seems far more compelling than a manic pixie dream boy.

Yeah, that is the most generic route Disney could have taken with it. I’m not really surprised because the same people who whine about “not taking risks” are the same ones who hate Disney movies like encanto and love super safe ones like tangled. They just want movies that are like the old Disney movies and nothing more.

I have heard that the starboy was supposed to looked like her grandfather. That is weird.. that makes the romance look so gross. Why would people even want this to happen?

Tho I would say a romance would be good because black girls characters never get a fairy tale romance in movies. The starboy being a boy of color would be great and so much better than him looking like a clone of Asha’s grandfather.

Him being the son of the villain would be so interesting and would allow us to gain insight into the king’s character.

Without trying to sound like the cartoontwt wars, do you prefer serialized cartoons with an ongoing story and mystery like Gravity Falls and Amphibia, episodic slice of life cartoons with story arcs here and there but mostly focuses on character dynamics and funny jokes like TGAMM, BCG, and Kiff, or do you like both equally?

I love both for different reasons but honestly? Probably the episodic ones

Phineas and Ferb and PPG were my jam growing up and since then I've grown to love episodic shows like OK KO, Wander Over Yonder, Milo Murphy's Law, and, of course, TGAMM

Serialized content is FANTASTIC and Amphibia did it so well but I just can't help it, I love character dynamics so much

okay honest question is it offputting for me to have izzy in my url? I just think the username is funny but since I'm trying to preserve my interest and love for the media I'm interested in by not getting too far into fandom I'm not sure if this the kind of environment that will think I'm like an izzy stan or I think he's the best or did nothing wrong.

Doomscrolling Twitter is so depressing and exactly why I’m slowly phasing it out of my life entirely and tbh the only reason I haven’t completely left it yet is because there’s still a few reliable sources for like animation related things on there so I basically just check on there every couple days for that, but earlier after having done that I let curiosity get the best of me so I scrolled a little bit and holy shit do people on cartoontwt not know how to do anything other than complain and fight like goddamn if your gonna be pissed about something let it be something actually important instead of stupid shit like opinions on cartoons cause god forbid someone prefer a certain style of animation more than another I can assure you that’s not worthy of a bunch of tweets ranting about the supposed downfall of society and why gen z sucks, and that’s not even the worst of it cause then we have the “anti-woke” people who love labeling everyone else snowflakes while having meltdowns over the sight of a rainbow or women being anything other than 1950s housewives or people of color being treated as human beings worthy of basic human rights and of course they’re current obsession with dehumanizing trans people as much as possible.

Btw while I’m dunking on Twitter fuck Elon Musk and everything he stands for, that app was already toxic before he got there but now it’s outright insufferable thanks to him basically turning it into a echo chamber chamber of blue checked tech bros and neo nazis wanting to be the next billionaire dickhead, not to mention that despite what Elon claims the bot problem has gotten way worse and further proves the dead internet theory.

Yeah MAWS stans are the REAL bullies for pointing out how cartoontwt dragging the show for even the tiniest infraction and nitpicking every story beat and taking scenes out of context to drag it thru the mud just that bit more and yet the stans are simply people watching the show for fun and criticizing it by its own merits and watching it and yet WE'RE the bullies for simply getting tired of this show getting dragged thru the mud every week because people already made up their minds to hate it long before its release -_-

Seeing cartoontwt being negative on post-The Owl House shows for Disney Channel (Hamster & Gretel,Kiff,Primos,Hailey’s On It and Cookies & Milk) makes me sad but later i remember that's how cartoon internet has been and i forget about it. 

For example these where actual comments when Spongebob premiered on 1999

Also in a similar way as users claiming why they are still airing Teen Titans Go! instead of Steven Universe/Infinity Train reruns on 2015-2021 Hanna-Barbera fans hated when Cartoon Network made original shows (Dexter,PPG,Johnny Bravo,Cow & Chicken) and got rid reruns of old HB shows.
