The bumper gap was an inch from factory and the quarter panel extensions weren’t really the right shape. It’s a little tricky making tight little radii like these on the English wheel but it’s nice to make stuff without hammers. Once I get all the gaps and transitions the way I want I can finish it all out. Metal Shaping….a life long journey. Adrian Casados @carrozzeriacasados has been from one end of this country to the other, shaping metal and shaping his future. Whether it was Hot rods, Customs, Choppers or Aviation applications, he always seems to be on the business end of metal shaping machinery. From shot bags, mallets and handheld tools, to massive legacy Power Hammers, English Wheels and Planishers. We think it’s safe to say, he knows a thing or two about metal shaping and coach building. Adrian’s journey will now take him and his family from the foothills of Colorado, to the rich classic car culture of Texas as fabricator and lead metal shaper at @Murphosatx . Their massive new facility looks like Baileigh barfed in it…there is Baileigh Machinery everywhere! Adrian will be manning their new MH-19 Power hammer just to get things rollin.’ This will be the next chapter and a step up for both him and @murphosatx Hey @discoverychannel you better be following!
