Parisian singer, Carolyn Saint-Pé and her quartet Les Moineaux de Paris transport you in time and space to Paris of yesteryear with a repertoire of vintage french chansons, musette music and gypsy jazz.

Composed of accordion, clarinet, guitar and double bass, The Sparrows of Paris bring you the chansons of the beginning of the twentieth century as well as the melodies and rhythms of the bal musette, the popular social dances favoured by gangsters and molls of the 1920s to 1940s: javas, tangos and foxtrots from Edith Piaf, Fréhel, Arletty, Mistinguett, Jean Gabin, Lucienne Delyle, Lucienne Boyer, Damia, Lys Gauty et Berthe Sylva. With their first album, The Sparrows of Paris added a couple of new javas written specifically for the album in a similar retro style.
