Is there any detail available on Caroline Feuillas-Creusy?
I have to admit that before I saw the painting I posted I had never heard of her. A few other paintings from her can be found by doing an image search... Other than that, it seems that she studied at Académie Julian in Paris (the contents for this link and the following are in French) and won an honourable medal at the Paris Salon. I also found her great-grandson’s website, and he’s a painter too. Unfortunately that’s all I can find.
