Why were they kinda fine tho

Them as Semi-Humans as part of a 'What if' AU where they're still bugs [albeit really big ones] but take on a more human appearance to give the town the illusion of a 'normal' looking family.

So like, Praying Mantises bite the throat of its victims to paralyze them before eating them alive. And though I think Vinnie would've most definitely been horrified at almost getting eaten alive, I also think Caroleena's paralysis awakened something in him because wdym he loves it when Caroleena threatens to do it again.

I keep seeing comments talking about how they wanted the show to reveal Creepie's 'real parents' when CAROLEENA AND VINNIE ARE RIGHT THERE !!! THEY'RE HER REAL PARENTS, REGARDLESS OF SPECIES OR BLOOD RELATION !!!

So in this 'Semi-Human' AU, Vincent works as an art professor in Middlington, more specifically at the town's local high school. And though he doesn't think of himself as the 'teaching' type, he's well loved by both staff and students alike due to his easygoing and supportive nature, as well as his encouragement whenever he notices his students showing even a fraction of improvement.

I think the funniest part about Growing Up Creepie is Ms. Monserrate's view of Creepie's parents.

Like, she thinks Vinnie is an absent father who frequently flies out of town for his work and that Caroleena is an overbearing mother who constantly makes Creepie feel suffocated in her home life, when both accusations are NOT TRUE in any sense of the word.
