amazing how these days (aka the last decade) i have little energy to read for pleasure and it will take me weeks to read twenty pages but the moment I discover a new gothic author/work? Suddenly I am dying of hunger

anyway struggling to decide whether I should pick up the Gormenghast trilogy or Carmilla rn because I'm dying to put my eyes on both
