One thing I’m gonna miss SOOOOO MUCH is holding her hand!!! MigiMo has THE SOFTEST SKIN IN THE WORLD...at two weeks shy of 92!!! She’s kinda strolling towards the light. We think she’s waiting for my brother-in-law and oldest nephew to arrive. A Migi MoMent: 🎶 She’s Walking in Sunshine 🎶 Will wonders never cease?!? Got Migi Mo to walk from her chair in the living room, walk across the room and across the threshold (imagine trying to do that at the age of 88 after having broken a leg earlier that year—its a three-stage process!!). We sat on the front patio for a half hour enjoying the chilly 69° fresh air and then she walked back inside! Now I just need to get her to walk to the mail box FOR ME like she did for Margaret the physical therapist!! I 💕💕My Migi Mo!!

A Migi MoMent: The Persuasive Ways of the Migi

and my birthday celebration continues!!! little bit of household background: things are a bit tight financially, so i try my best to cook most of our food. Migi Mo doesn't really cook much these days. however, she IS quick to say: "why don't i give you a $5 bill from my purse so you can go pick up some dinner for us at Vaqueros?" (she is also HIGHLY unrealistic on how much things cost these days!!) on the other hand, it takes ALL KINDS of cajoling to get her to leave the house. so we have two opposing dynamics here--her "nesting" versus my frugality!! yet today she says: "lemme take my shower and then we can go OUT for an early dinner...FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY..." call me skeptical, but i kinda think SHE'S milking my birthday as an excuse for me to take her out! : ] gosh, i love my Migi Mo to pieces!!!
