Rain

- as I wrote before in my ghoul heart headcanons post, he's a total cardiophile, but very shy about his kink. The only one who knows it is Cumulus, who found out by accident one day when they were cuddling with his head on her chest and she noticed how happy he looked.

- after a lot of yearning and browsing through online medical shops, he finally found the courage to buy a stethoscope. Keeps it hidden in his stuff and still haven't got the guts to use it in someone else.

- purrs a lot when he's listening to someone's heartbeat, often falls asleep to it.

- being a water ghoul, he's a great swimmer and loves spending time underwater, not only because of his element but also because he can hear his own heartbeat.

- since he's fairly skinny, he has a visible heartbeat on his chest. He's absolutely fascinated by it.

- finds medical examinations very awkward experiences, since he's letting a stranger listen to his heart in a non-sexual context.

- dark cardiophilia: one of his biggest fantasies is hooking up with a quint ghoul who would use his quintessence to phase through his chest and squeeze his heart or manipulate his heart rate.

Aether

- Aether is more of a passive cardiophile, in the sense that he prefers to have someone else listen to his heart than doing the listening. For this reason, he loves being the big spoon during cuddle time.

- is more into the romantic aspect of it, rather than dark cardiophilia.

- also purrs a lot when cuddled, and sometimes his partners have to tell him to stop purring so they can listen to his heart.
