What are the benefits of using a cabinet water softener in your home?
A cabinet water softener is a compact and effective way to manage hard water in your house. It eliminates minerals that create limescale, such as calcium and magnesium, and has various benefits:
Protects Appliances & Plumbing
Soft water minimizes limescale accumulation in pipes and appliances, increasing their longevity and efficiency. This results in fewer repairs and replacements, which saves you money over time.
Healthy Skin and Hair
Soft water is softer on the skin and hair, avoiding the dryness and irritation caused by hard water. It makes your skin feel smoother and your hair softer and shinier.
Better Cleaning Results
Soft water makes soaps, shampoos, and detergents lather better, clean more efficiently, and rinse more easily. It also removes streaks and spots from dishes, glasses, and tiles.
Compact and Space-Saving
The cabinet design combines the softener and brine tank in a single unit, making it perfect for houses with limited space.
Cost and energy savings
Soft water enhances appliance performance and saves energy consumption, particularly in water heaters. It also reduces maintenance costs by avoiding scale buildup.
Investing in a water softener provides softer water, healthier living, and long-term savings for your home. It's a realistic solution for hard water problems.

From soot particle filters to renewable fuels: Examining carbon nanoparticle oxidation
Carbon particles are present in many aspects of our daily lives. Soot, which consists of tiny carbon particles, is generated when energy sources such as oil or wood are not completely burned. Soot particle filters, in turn, remove the nanometer- to micrometer-sized particles from car exhaust fumes with the help of chemical surface reactions. Carbon particles could be used in industry, because at temperatures above 1,000°C, carbon can be converted with carbon dioxide (CO2) and water into precursors of synthetic fuels. In both applications, chemical reactions occurring on the carbon surface are essential, yet the conditions under which specific reaction pathways dominate are not fully understood.

It's almost a shame that warforged was taken off the player options, because I wonder what the dynamic between warforged Durge and Enver 'Robot Army' Gortash is like.
#I feel like warforged Durge is formed from iron filtered from the blood of the innocent and/or bones#Maybe other metals#If you can get the carbon atoms then you can make diamonds! Probably.#The sacrificial mass murder it would require for the Dark Urge's 'birth' would be quite something.#babbling#/durge#/gortash#/durgetash

look gotham probably has lead pipes, iykyk
#this is about how lead poisoning rates lead to higher crime rates cause lead poisoning fucks with your head#still hung up on the underground network of water and sewer pipes though#i bet gotham's filtration system is years out of date and the carbon filters need to be replaced#the fish in the harbor are mutated like dredge (video game)#cant rememver gotham's rivers and creeks but those are definitely contaminated too. therefore the groundwater most likely is#as well right. so what the fuck are they drinking in gotham. groundwater contamination is no joke and will kill you#gothamites built different i think#probably very common to die from liver diseases and malfunctions in gotham#or everyone is just slightly mutated from whatevers in the water and air#gotham would have a very high rate of lung and liver damage due to pollution and groundwater contamination

How does a water softener reduce scale buildup in pipes?
A water softener reduces scale building in pipes by eliminating the minerals that produce hardness in water, typically calcium and magnesium. This is how it works.
When hard water is pumped through a water softener, it passes through a resin bed containing microscopic beads charged with sodium or potassium ions. These beads attract and trap calcium and magnesium ions in the water, which are then replaced with sodium or potassium. This process is referred to as ion exchange.
By removing these hardness-causing minerals, the water becomes "soft." Without calcium and magnesium, nothing can build the persistent scale deposits that frequently accumulate within pipes, water heaters, and appliances. This yields:
Improved water flow and prevents mineral deposits from clogging pipes.
Reduced scale buildup reduces wear and tear on pipes, boilers, and other water-using systems.
Increased efficiency of water heaters and appliances.
In short, a water softener is an effective way to safeguard your home's plumbing system while also improving water quality by avoiding scale formation. This will keep your pipes and appliances working smoothly for years!

the removable filters are for microwaves that mount above the stove, and have a built in ventilation fan in the bottom to suck in air and pass it through a filter. They are alternatives to dedicated vent hoods.
You can see the vents below the microwave where it sucks in air and on the top of the microwave where it blows it back into the room.
dedicated hoods or microwave hoods that vent outside shouldn't need a filter. but extractor fans that blow the air back into the room use a filter to deal with smoke particulates and smells.
you probably don't need to keep a schedule, but if your stove extractor stops helping with cooking smoke/smells, it might be worth paying $10 for a new filter to fix it.
Who the hell can afford to replace these things that often? Being able to buy my FIRST couch is like a daydream I come back to?! (I don't want a used bedbugs one) Also what the fuck do you MEAN microwaves have removable filters somewhere
#I dunno why I went to search for images of extractor fans when I have one 10 feet from me#Also i should probably replace the filters because it doesn't really work well and I don't think it has ever been replaced#Oh the filter is small like a $10 carbon sheet has enough material to replace rhe filter 4 times.
