Eeeee!!! I get to wear the PRETTIEST dress at work now :D I’m not sure exactly what era it’s replicating inside the 1800s but looks like it’s inching closer to 1820/1830s than early 1800/1810s and it’s DIVINE.
It’s got the ✨swoosh✨, it’s got the sea foam green with the stripes, it’s got the poofed shoulders…mega heart eyes

Generally good common sense life tip, if it’s 96 F and feels like 102 F how about we don’t go to the historic site? Especially if you’re going to comment “how do you manage in this heat?” Or “aren’t you hot in ✨all those layers✨?”
It’s 96 F out. Of course I’m hot. I’d be hot wearing a tshirt and shorts. Why are you here. There’s a heat advisory.

Oh my goddd I thought early 1800/1810s fashion was a cute look on me but I get to go to a different historic site for the 4th that interprets 1850s rural America and while it’s not the dramatic Victorian fashion you usually see in film and such…ahh!!! It’s SO FLATTERING??
I also never thought I’d get so excited over front button closures, but front button closures!! And petticoats!! And a waistline that’s actually on my natural waist and not under the bust so i don’t look like a rectangle!!
I’m in love 😍

I have failed to account for exactly what “only 2-6% of people who take this (insert career) skills aptitude test pass it” meant…
…🥲 I take this test on the 28th and hmm it’s like all my worst subjects in school had a baby from hell and the test is that baby.
I’m was a sociology major I haven’t had to touch math and logic problems with a ten foot pole since 2018/19.
It’s not like I have a lot riding on this test, it’s not a dream career just an opportunity that presented itself but bahaha studying for this is a bitch
