Yeah that’s kinda what I’m telling myself. I’m bummed because i missed a couple good filming days last week (because they weren’t posted about) so I think next week I’m just gonna go up and hope for the best haha. AND I WISH YOU WERE STILL HEREEE I’m still bummed I didn’t get to see you while you were :(

awwww. i’m sorry you’re feeling sick! but don’t worry, there will be so many more filming days where you can go! i wish i could still go, but ya know, a 10hr flight is a little outside my budget.

Although we have some differences in ships, there have never been any arguments or ship wars. This is gonna be a massive post.

First of all, sorry for the lack ofupdates. Life has been pretty stressful here in Vancouver. And I just haven’t found the motivation to write.

I mean, there’s been great days and adventures, but there’s been an awful lot of stress lately.  

I’m still at the very beginning of my acting “career” with my agency. Things take a long time to set up, and I don’t have the money to pay the fees that come with setting up the accounts or taking any acting classes at all. I mean, I’m on castingworkbook, which I believe, is the most important one. But hey! I have an agent, that’s further than I’ve ever gotten. But it’s just frustrating. I’m not getting anywhere right now, and I’m also not getting any more shifts at work. I can’t take on another job because of this because then I won’t have enough time for auditions.

So when last week, I saw an add about someone asking for extra’s on a Sunday, I asked my agent if I could do that, without getting paid for it. She told me that it was totally fine, but that if I wanted to do extra work, she could set up a meeting with another division of the agency that books the extra. That meeting was today. I got signed again, and from now on, I am on the extra’s roster. So hopefully I’ll be starring in my favourite shows in no-time. In the background, that is. But still. There is a chance I will be working on shows like Arrow and The Flash, and maybe even Once!! Now let’s hope I’ll actually get work in this. It will help me out so much, financially. Filming days are long days, lots of waiting. 10-30 bucks an hour. That’ll be good....

This way, I can gain more experience on set first. Shake off the nerves a bit, get comfortable, and learn more about the filming process. If I’m lucky, I get special skills jobs as well. Which are the 30 bucks an hour kind of days. (I’m already dreaming about horseback riding on OUAT, shh)

I just really hope I’ll get work soon, so I can get out of this stressful mess and start having fun, instead of having to worry about money all the time, counting every single dollar at least 10 times before using it.

Enough about stress, now let’s talk about the last few weeks’ adventures. It all started with a few weeks ago, when one morning, I found out that OUAT was filming downtown, which they hardly do. I practically jumped out of my bed, forgot my breakfast, and ran towards the skytrain. When there, it was quite the scene that they were filming. Stunt doubles, horses, and a fake New York included.. I had a great day watching them film,  and met so many great people.

The day after, OUAT was filming at a different location downtown again.. My friends and I watched them film again, and were lucky enough to meet the wonderful Sean Maguire (Robin Hood) afterwards.

Then, we found out that Arrow was shooting close by as well, so we hopped onto a bus after a short trip we arrived at the location. They were filming inside, though holding (where they eat, get make up retouches etc.) was at a small restaurant, half a block from the location.. About five minutes after we got there, Colton –gorgeous- Haynes, walked out of the church they were filming in, and stopped for autographs and photo’s.. For some reason I though this guy was a jerk – no idea why - but that thought went right out of the window when I met this awesome guy! He took the time to take a photo, sign, and told me it was so nice to meet me. Sinceriously, a true gentleman.

After that, the cast kept walking back and forth between holding and the set. We met them all. Colton, Stephen, David, Emily, Brandon, Katie, Willa. All of them. It was crazy. And on top of it all, somehow, Colton found my selfie of us on Instagram, and “liked” it. Swoon.

Then, the day after, I met Evangeline Lilly. She was having a book signing at a bookstore close by, and a whole bunch of friends and I decided to go. We bought the book, and went to the signing, which was amazing. I don’t care that the book is a kids book. The way she read it to us, was amazing, she is amazing. We could ask her questions and she answered almost all of them. She really answered them, explaining every single detail about each question. When I asked her if she had any tips about acting, she said, she could write a book about it. But the most important part of the answer was –to me- that it’s very important to love yourself. And I think this is something I have to work on. Years of being bullied didn’t really help on that, and I think it’s time to change that. Seriously, this woman is so inspiring and so kind. Wow.

And of course then there is last week. The most horrendous set day of all set days. Well, part of it. It started with going to Central park to see OUAT film. Buying the cast cupcakes with the last bit of money that I had left. Bex was in town, so I knew she was filming and bought her a green cupcake.. We couldn’t really get close on set so we couldn’t see anything, but I got a wave from Bex and it was awesome! Unfortunately she didn’t stop by when she was done, but we thought she must’ve gone to the studio right after. Then, after a few more hours of trying to find out where they’d be filming next, we found it. They were rehearsing a scene with Jmo, Colin and Jared and as turned out, Ginny and josh joined them later on. The girls I was with, decided to leave, so I called one of the other girls that I knew was still there, and asked if she was planning on staying for the night shoot. She told me she already left, with all the others that were there. Turns out, she didn’t leave at all. She lied, telling me she left when she never did, and ended up meeting Colin and Jared later that night. And it’s not even the reason of them meeting the cast that got to me. I’ve met them both before so it’s not that big of a deal, obviously I love meeting them whenever I get the chance, but that’s not the point here. The point is that people lied to me, people who I thought were my friends, well, one of them at least. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s lying. I just can’t stand it. It felt like high school all over again. Again, I was excluded from the little groups of close friends that didn’t want me. Who called me a selfish jerk. Oh well, that’s life, I guess.

So I think that’s about it for now. And if you’re still reading after this rant, thank you. I hope it was worth it.

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN: 16

While I was home in NYC last Sept. me and a few of my friends of mine from High School went out drinking. Not regular drinking, I’m talking about hating life the next day drinking. For some reason while drunk I can make friends with a plant. I said hello to one person and managed to speak perfect French. I had us make friends with a whole group of people. Got us a hooka. Gave wise sage advice. All while getting hit on and picked up by a 25 yr old who looked like Colin. I was 32 at the time.

Yay! Okay, umm, this is sort of hard, because I'm shy and don't actually talk to a lot of people. Also I typed this up once and then lost it, so this is the second time I’ve written it out.

captaincronut | Is starting with the person who tagged me cheating? I hope not, because she's so sweet, and even though I just met her on set yesterday, I know that we'll be able to get along perfectly in the future. When 99% of the day is spent laughing, you know it was a good day. Seriously, you guys, befriend her if you haven't already!

puppysima | Okay, so I didn't know her tumblr username until captaincronut tagged her in her own post, but I'm excited that I do now! We bonded over Rumbelle love on set yesterday, and that's the best thing to bond over, really. Even though we had different opinions on certain ships, we were able to have a ton of fun, and she's hilarious! I think there was a good hour that I had no clue what was happening in the scene being filmed because we were all laughing so hard about our conversations.

onhername | This one is a given, because she's my favorite person ever, so I'm trying not to get mushy or something here. She's opinionated in a good way, great to debate with, and has great taste in general, so definitely follow her if you aren't already! Again, not going to get mushy, so leaving it at this.

dr-rushs-glasses | Again, I don't talk to many people, but this is someone who has been so, so nice to me. With really interesting posts, and a love for Rush, I have nothing but good things to say. I don't have a lot of non-CS related blogs on my dash, so I always really enjoy seeing something different in the mix.

I haven't really talked to anyone else specifically, so I'm going to pick out one of my favorite followers:
