| The snare drum above is a Drum Workshop Performance Series Maple 8x14 that I own. I love this drum because it gives me the opportunity to get low-mids and achieve the punch that I want from a snare. It can be tuned high and still have body because of the depth of the shell. It is extremely versatile and I love owning it. There are many different kinds of snare drums and thousands of sounds you can achieve as a drummer.
