The fingerprint toby is a demersal Marine fish belonging to the family Tetraodontidae.The fingerprint toby is a small sized fish which grows up to 12 cm.It is widely distributed throughout the tropical waters of the western Pacific Ocean.It inhabits the shallow sandy to silty lagoons, harbours or channels from 2 to 12 m. Canthigaster compressa has a diurnal activity.

Yes!!!!! They mostly live up north but you still get them down south!! Good Puffer Names Include:
- The Ferocious Pufferfish (Feroxodon multistriatus) who will fight u
- Weeping Toadfish (Torquigener pleurogramma) Who kinda looks like someone spilt paint on them and their fins were too short to clean it off so they left it to drip
- Compressed Toby (Canthigaster compressa) who isn't as flat as you'd think
- Starry Puffer (Arothron stellatus) who's beautiful backs differ depending on where u see one
