I know this is SO late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHLO!!!! @ifoundkylo I hope its a great year, full of CANONREYLO!, The Last Jedi feels, and lots and lots of tacos. I painted your fav man for you to dream about, salivate over, etc. Hope you like :))))))

(Since the new trailer came out, I’ve been so motivated and inspired and worked the three days since to finish the painting - I really loved the scene and found it so incredibly moving. I painted over the scene from the trailer!)

Tbh I had a problem with Luke in this movie too - not his characterization or arc which I was pretty proud of, but his *SPOILERS* death. I felt like it was lacking in purpose and abrupt... *shrugs*

I’m also still unsure whether I like the movie or not. I of course loved CANONREYLO! and the FinnRose scenes, but while I know I might get slaughtered for saying this, it just felt so CHANGED from the original SW. I do know, however, that change is not always bad, so I’m keeping an open mind and going to watch it again LOL 😂😂😂😂

fam go review TLJ b/c right now the audience score is straight up whack 

from what it looks like people are upset with Luke’s arc (which idk HOW bc for me he was one of the major highlights of the film & his arc was extremely satisfying) - I think OG fans aren’t able to deal with it??
