Hello everyone! Today’s post comes courtesy of the gorgeous @antipodeanbookclub who inspired me to share #mybookstagramstack ⁣ This is a small stack of books that are special to me because of other bookstagrammers. I get inspired by you guys every single day and I have so much to thank you all for! Today I’ve chosen a few buddy reads I’ve had with other ‘grammers that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and will always have fond memories of.⁣ ⁣ Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah - buddy read with @chrissireads ⁣ Such a powerful book and we had an amazing discussion.⁣ ⁣ Nightingale Point by Luan Goldie - buddy read with @emmasbookishcorner Wow, this book knocked us sideways. So dramatic, so well written, so much to talk about!⁣ ⁣ Cannabilism by Bill Schutt - buddy read with @alwaystrustinbooks Stuart and I had such interesting conversations about this and I’ll always remember it! Some brilliant facts in here about the animal and human kingdom regarding cannibalism.⁣ ⁣ Me by Elton John - buddy read with @elainesreviews Our first buddy read and it was great! We came away with a new understanding and respect for Elton John. Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel - buddy read with @keeperofpages We read this entire series together and I think the first was our favourite. Such a unique story. Betty by Tiffany McDaniel- buddy read with @tarheelreader One of my books of the year, this was an astounding book that I still can’t stop thinking about. Loved every moment of this read with Jenni. Hi everyone, we’ve almost made it halfway through the week! Today I’m sharing the final half shelf of nonfiction books I have at home. Most of these books are (surprise surprise) unread but I have read, thoroughly enjoyed and decided to keep a couple of them, notably Me - Elton John and Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History by Bill Schutt.⁣ ⁣ Books I’m excited to read from this shelf? It would have to be The Five by Hallie Rubenhold which I’ve heard so many great things about. I’m also intrigued by One of Us by Asne Seierstad which is the story of the horrendous Norway massacre. Finally, The Year Of Living Danishly by Helen Russell is my current nonfiction read. ⁣ ⁣ Can you see anything you’ve read on this shelf? What did you think?
