Summary: The rumours warn to stir far from the cottage down the clearing. Who knows who hides between these pitted walls? But curiosity trumps logic, and now that the wolf caught the scent of his prey, this little red ridin’ hood wandered into a trap..

Verdant lichen and damp moss cloaked the rough exterior, silently preserving the house’s secrets while fooling each random spectator to assume it stood centuries-long forsaken.

not only you are talented, but i can tell the passion you put into your every work and i really value that (as a reader, but also as a person cause its inspiring)

@candypumpkin thank you so sosososoosososososo much for your kind and loving review. Please don't ever apologise for a long comment. This is the kind of feedback that moves me the most.

This story was a journey to write. It's the second series I wrote and completed, and while it brought me a lot of joy, there were some really tough moments. I grew so much with it and feel like I really got into defining August the way I see and understand him.

I couldn't and still can't perceive August as a complete monster. Yeah, he is not a good guy, not in the movie and not in this story, but the way I see him, he thinks he is doing the right thing, and it comes from a place of anger but also love. I don't justify his actions but it was interesting to write about someone so dark while trying to show how much he is also hungry for love.

It's the devil who wants to be loved the most, after all ;)

And Ingvild seemed like a perfect match because she is someone who was never loved by anyone and doesn't even know how much she yearns for it. So these two "murder babies" made the perfect match.

i grew so SO fond of Ingvild, its not obvious to find such a well created protagonist… she and August form the perfect duo (between the anti-hero and anti-villain boundaries)

🥺🖤 my heart. I am so touched that you think that way. Ingvild has a life of her own. She started as a completely different idea and basically wrote herself.

at the end i loved him almost as much as Ingvild (sorry but Ingvild literally stole my heart🥺 i empathised with her a lot)
