i’m rereading addicted for now and i don’t know how i never noticed it before but loren and rose are downright AFFECTIONATE in this book wow. i mean affectionate for them but still…..i swear they’ve had like maybe two instances of aggressive banter and basically all the rest of their interactions are standing up for each other. and i think they’ve both implied or directly said they love the other at least once or twice each. it’s probably because lily and lo are literally STRUGGLING in the gutters rn but still wow. this is crazy

#LIKE LO GIVING THAT WHOLE SPEECH TO CONNOR ABOUT HOW ANY GUY WOULD BE LUCKY TO BE WITH HER #AND IF CONNOR CANT SEE THAT LO IS COMING AFTER HIS ASS #and rose literally saying ‘everyone in this room loves you’ WHILE IN THE ROOM HERSELF AND NO CUTTING REMARKS FOLLOWED?#this shit is craaaaaaazy #and honestly i think i love this book more than i ever realized #it always feels bleh when i think about it because of the threatening texts plot and the pure depression #but honestly so many of these scenes go off #cancun is a masterpiece from start to finish and the scenes that follow are some of the most classic core six moments out there #this book is their ORIGIN as a group of six. this book is PoP before PoP was a thing #this series wouldn’t have a leg to stand on without afn #mine #addicted series
