Steve for Send Me a Character ask game!

Steve Murphy?? My hillbilly husband?? 🥺

First impression: I liked Steve a lot right off the rip but I immediately was like, "Oh I love him but he's a little Dumb, isn't he?" and I was right But like you can't give me that Miami scene with him and Connie and expect me to not fall in love with him a little bit. C'mon now.

Impression now: I still love him and I still think he's a little Dumb 😂 But he is a character that, when I went back and rewatched some of the show, I really got a bigger appreciation for the transformation he went through. Like, you could see it, you know? But aside from Carrillo I can easily say that Steve was my favorite character in OG Narcos. I remember watching s3 with my partner and I was like, "They can't just bring in another blonde no hate to fiestl we love him and expect me to forget about Steve. I Miss Him."

Favorite moment: The scene of him and Connie meeting each other lives in my mind. But the angsty side of me just fuckin loves when he gets back from the chopper ride with Carrillo and he calls Connie and he's all choked up. Like I love drowning in my tears I love that scene so much. I couldn't find a gif but if you've seen the show you know The Scene. He just wanted to hear her voice I'm 😭😭😭😭

Idea for a story: This is the question, isn't it??? 😂 I want to write for Steve so badly but I have no idea what I want to write for him. I just want to put that man in Situations. I wish I knew what kind lmao

Unpopular opinion: I don't think I have one? I feel like obviously, the man is not everybody's cup of tea and I totally get the reasons for that. But I love him. No one can stop me.

Favorite relationship: Steve & Connie 5ever. I love love love them. Even just based on the show I adored their dynamic, but once I read Manhunters I really just got super deep in my Steve/Connie feelings. Runner-up is him and Javier for obvious reasons lol

Favorite headcanon: I know that irl Steve was like, the go-to guy for teaching people how to shoot guns well. And I just love the idea that after the pigeon fiasco in the show that Javi had to take lessons from Steve 😂 The bitterness. The banter. We love to see it.
