Sosig / Sausage - Hellhound - Gift from Beelzebub!:

A beast of considerable size and [reportedly] god awful temperament, bearing charcoal fur and the lingering [faint] scent of sulphur. More vulpine than canine, their frames are typically gaunt, with the flames that fuel their bodies licking out from the ends of their tails, their ankles and wrists [on their normal quadrupedal legs], the inner portions of their ears [leaving them at a disadvantage when it comes to hearing], their somewhat visible / open ribcage, and the corners of their mouth. 

Despite this general introduction, hellhounds are wildly varied and have a number of breeds and variations in recent history, typically intended for one of three purposes.

Companionship - These hellhounds are typically smaller in stature and less sturdy, with a tendency to bond strongly to one or two masters [with some consideration/leeway for those close to their master: See- Cerberus]. Arguably the most docile of any class of hellhound, they are still dangerous if not raised correctly, and have a nasty bite. Though not a true classification and with no formal means of training a hound to do so naturally, some companion hellhounds serve as a psuedo service dog, heavily attuned to the needs and potential problems unique to their primary master. This isn’t to say that they are an alternative to service animals, or anywhere near as well trained, *of course*, but the devildom is hardly the safest place for a regular human realm animal; And sometimes, you’ve just got to work with what you’ve got.

Sport / Show - Typically very much breed standard. While raised to tolerate handling and grooming, these traditionally built hellhounds are temperamental at best and borderline terrifying when their willful nature comes in direct conflict with a demonic handler who bit off more than they can chew. Heavily regulated, and typically owned by the elite.

Protection - The devildom is dangerous, and nobody is questioning that. Demons with a knack for animal handling [or demons who can afford to hire someone skilled with animals, of course!] breed and train these creatures to guard many things; People, places, objects, etc. They’re typically territorial and hard to train as a rule, as one cannot allow for a beast such as this to be tempted by treats or good petting from *anyone*, yfm?

Sausage is a bit of a mixed bag. Born from protective stock and bought by Beelzebub after overhearing Mammon trying to convince Lucifer to get Delphine/my mc a pet [who lays eggs, we’ll get there, that he can sell for a massive profit]. Being the youngest present brother at the time, anything capturing his interest other than food is both welcomed and encouraged in an attempt to positively reinforce him to not put the devildom at risk of a famine.

Delphine unintentionally raised this brick house of a hellhound puppy into a sort of in-between of companion and protector, with him being very social, very sweet, and *fairly* defensive and willful if things aren’t going his way. He’s typically the one to step in most successfully to motivate her to move around [yes, moreso than the brothers!] and do her day to day tasks, and is probably the best way to find out if something’s wrong with her-- Past being able to just kind of drag her off due to their size differential, his general wit and ability to communicate his needs and wants have led to unexpected food deliveries, blankets spread over her shoulders, and human world medicines arriving a few days before she shows any real signs of illness that she can see.

He’s also spoiled as all get out. If you’re sharing a bed/couch/blanket/etc with her, you can bet Sausage is soon to follow. Sorry, Mammon! He loooves table scraps and is almost as bad as Beel when it comes to eating things he shouldn’t [and looking too cute to be scolded about it too heavily].

Rocky - ... That’s just a rock, dude. - Gift from Belphegor:

It’s really hard to tell if Belphegor is messing around when he presents Delphine with a rough hewn black rock bearing two googly eyes, a pair of hilariously out of place crystalized horns, and a pair of similarly out of place crystal wings, but I swear on all things unholy, he’s doing it for a reason.

Though not... Really sentient, initially, Rocky just needs a good, possibly year long charging. Soulstones are sort of... Weird, in that they are inert and lifeless for as long as they remain with the boulders from which they are harvested. but typically-- After being exposed to a single party’s magical runoff and signature for a year or so-- absorb enough energy to come to life, their coloration and mineral makeup adjusting to fit the nature of the being they owe their life to. Delphine’s takes the form of a celestine and blue goldstone peryton; A winged stag. With crystalized wings and antlers, Rocky would almost look majestic; If it weren’t for the fact that the googly eyes have remained a feature that she has never been able to figure out how to remove. Soulstones are typically quiet observers, not requiring active care to thrive but delighting in contact [especially immediately post spell casting or magic use]. They are attuned to the needs of their magic bound masters, and typically exude an air of-- if not positive-- reassurance.

In Delphines Little Canon Divergence Corner, it’s likely that rocky coming into her care is one of the first of many attempts at reconciliation that Belphegor makes with her post chapter 16; And it honestly really, really sets him back, like, even when she returns to the human realm. Forgotten but included in her luggage, it’s a few weeks into her settling down on Earth that she finds the dinky little stone, and an overload of magic-- Possibly emotionally sourced, possibly due to unresolved tension/a discussion that never got to happen because he was being a little jerk about it-- sets off the transformation, which occurs overnight.

She recognizes the little stone figure when it approaches her in the morning, and one of her first texts about it is a simple, succinct “WTF” + an image attachment sent to Belphegor, specifically in the dead of night with the intention to wake him.

Henry “Pogchampion” 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0, A.K.A: “Pip! Minette! Beans!” - Infernal rats - Gift from Leviathan:

A note: If you don’t care for rats or you’re more familiar with their popular association with illness or disease/classification as vermin, and are only capable of thinking of them in that context, I don’t care. I am specifically talking about rats in the context of them being pets-- And good pets, at that. If you want to talk about how much you wish they were dead/didn’t exist, thats not my problem. Just don’t do it on a post discussing them as a pet, or I will block you!

Anyway!

Leviathan is probably the most appropriate person for them to get pet recommendations from, but her asking never winds up a necessity; When he finds out that he’s got another pet enthusiast in the house, he’s *all* about it, and when he finally [very unsubtly] weasels his way into the information he needs, he gets them to come along with him to what’s supposed to be a routine supply trip for Henry that just *CAN’T* be accomplished online. It’s a trip to *a* shop, but not what she’s expecting, especially when she gets to meet a handful of very curious, very playful, larger than a medium sized dog mice and rats. These guys are very much pests turned pets, with a small niche of hobbyists raising them and breeding them for temperament and overall health and disease resistance. Very social and very intelligent, they tend to thrive best in groups if one is not devoting all of their time to them as an individual. The type Leviathan recommends are on the smaller side, with cloudy, soft fur and sweet temperaments. And massive teeth, nubby horns, spade tipped tails, and very large, typically bony or leathery wings.

Levi is... Probably the one who wanted them, really. They get a little big, and tend to like to roughhouse, and they chew like nobody’s business-- And while he can’t risk his figures or merch or other Otaku Trappings or wires for everything in his room, he *CAN* risk Delphine’s. Plus, Sausage needs a friend, right? Or three?

They pick up three, all of whom are sisters, and all of whom on paper are named Henry “Pogchamp”, 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0, since he *is* technically the one paying for them and at least gets to do that much. Even when they start being named Pip, Minette, and Beans, in casual conversation, he can still hold on to the fact that they’ll always be Henries in his heart of hearts.

Sausage loves them to bits, for the record, but their interactions tend to be supervised/very brief even without the worry of him being able to harm any of them due to the general (and very appropriate) ill advisement of large predators interacting with smaller prey animals. It’s cute, sure, but it can be dangerous, and Delphine (and Levi, to a lesser extent, because he’s using the excuse of them being friends to keep Lucifer off of his ass for adding another animal to her menagerie) isn’t about to risk it.

Sweets - .... A black cat? That glitters? - Gift from Satan and Asmodeus:

Small, sleek, and independent, Sweets is probably the pet people see the least of all of Delphine’s little collection-- Though that doesn’t mean she’s not well loved. A pet project between Satan and Asmodeus, Sweets isn’t *technically* a cat; They’re a being comprised of shadow, somewhat similar in nature to a familiar without the connotation of them technically being a demon slash demonic. Who just so happens to have been enchanted to appear like and generally function in their day to day life as a cat. That sparkles, the only concession Satan was willing to grant Asmodeus in return for his help obtaining the materials necessary to create  the little beast (and in return for him taking the heat when Lucifer inevitably got pissy about it). Given its unique nature, very little is actually known about the little being of shadow past basic care and assumptions based on its generally feline behavioral patterns. The rats scare the hell out of it, however, and it tends to be out of sight except when called, hiding in shadows and only occasionally emerging on its own.

... Oh, and be careful. Satan hasn’t told Del yet, but it seems that the belly rubs this shadowy kitty offers tend  to bite off more than they can chew if they’re not careful. Asmodeus thinks its horrible. Who wants a pet with a massive maw of teeth in their stomach? Satan desperately wants to use this quirk in Sweets’ nature for a prank. Delphine already knows, but is playing dumb for the sake of faking surprise when its formally revealed.

Elysia - Gilded Crow - Gift from Lucifer and Mammon:

SO, i”M going to keep this short because i’ve been writing this for several hours at this point on and off and i really really want to be ready for my dinner when its ready, but!

Elysia is a sort of... Special circumstance. Literally. Devotees to Mammon-- And yes, there *are* people who think he’s a legitimate demon lord, the only people really allowed to treat him like garbage are his brothers and a few choice officials too strong to be eradicated as any lesser demon might have been-- with a background in magical augmentation specifically enchanted this line of crows to reflect that which is most valued by their Lord; Riches. They’re technically not legal due to their status as something of an organic money generator, but a select few in a small flockare kept under the watchful eyes of the Demon Lord and his immediate family, and those who have been trusted by his family members. This is where Lucifer comes in.

Understandably, Mammon is not allowed to have care of his flock, though he certainly wouldn’t be the worst at caring for them. He’d just also be selling their products illegally, and you can’t have that!

Elysia wears a small enchanted band comprised of dull, unimpressive iron-- The kind of thing Mammon would neither notice nor have interest in. This band is enchanted, and serves as a sort of storage space for any of Ely’s dropped organic components. Talons, feathers, eggs-- Everything is automatically absorbed into the band, rendering the bird borderline useless outside of being a gorgeous pet, and a gigantic nuisance. 

Lucifer hates to admit it, but he really is a fan of the large, intelligent, gorgeous creature; And Mammon thinks it’s really funny to teach her to take shiny things (like grimm, loose jewelry, gum wrappers, etc), even past the sentimental value of the bird itself and what her kind represents to him. 

Delphine adores her, too, and is about as good an influence on her as Mammon is-- Teaching her to speak, in some capacity, simply by repeating certain words or phrases to herself as she does things in the day to day, especially during feeding time. It’s all fun and games, until this pretty golden bird calls Lucifer a ‘motherf*cker’ while she thinks he’s out of the room while visiting with Diavolo for an update on her health.

my two most Ambigious Disordered kids. um.

ori handles Strangers with a very practiced dignity. she gets quieter, goes a little blank. she’s afraid of strangers and especially conversations with strangers that she cannot predict having. with friends, she is... different. this is a new version of herself, and it is maybe one that she can like. she can joke and be soft and relax, even if only for a moment. she has been doing GOOFS lately, you guys. GOOFS and BIT. she’s never had a “lover” outside of like. the hookup department but she. flirts in a kind of strong-silent-type way. and with family... hm. hard to describe. with-family-ori is not someone she wants people to see. ex-child prodigy headcase does not handle her evil-aligned profane soul blood hunter family well, news at 11.

anthe is always anthe, which is to say. loud and invasive and accidentally too-friendly and too-weird right off the bat with strangers. like o, she’s afraid of strangers, but she handles it with Trying To Make Them Not Strangers. with friends, she is a little bit quieter and she embraces her own weirdness a bit more--she is more self-aware and vulnerable. and with. nev. this goes even moreso. much softer and quieter and more openly unsure. and her family is... complicated! she is (or. was, at least) more comfortable around kir than the others, but she is hyperaware that she is being judged by them and she is terrified of it. thank you. it’s also worth noting that anthe does think that 99% of people in the world hate her because she is The Worst.

describe their ideal date. 

i genuinely can’t see ori in a healthy long-term relationship until she takes some. serious time to recover but. i think she’d like a little stargazing moment. she’d druidcraft flowers for them, too, and it would just be very soft and intimate.

anthe has something in the works that she is very excited about for when we are on the coast. i shan’t elaborate.

do they consider themselves childish/mature for their age?

ori is at a weird mix of the two... she thinks she is smarter than most people, and she is, but she also understands that she had an atypical upbringing and that she spent her late adolescence and early adulthood in a blurry, terrified haze. she’s not sure if she ever was childish, and she’s definitely an adult technically, but... it’s complicated. she would probably settle on mature, but. it’s got nuance.

anthe will make the argument that she’s totally mature, but that -2 deception says that. she knows she is stuck in a little bit of ron howard voice arrested development. she’s. 24, 25 in Real Time years, but she’s a halfling, she’s like. 20, 21 in terms of maturation relative to humans. she is very wise and very world-weary, and she has a good head on her shoulders, but she is also. a young woman who experienced many major traumas from childhood into adolescence. like. she’s fucked up.

what is their native language? If they know multiple languages, how do they speak/act differently?

ori’s first language is sydh tir, which is still the language she is most comfortable writing and speaking in. she also knows avanti--she uses it the most, nowadays, for speaking, and while she used to sound Very Formal All The Time with it, she’s figured out a lot about it in recent years and she’s quite comfortable with it, too. she also taught herself lijaa, because it’s beautiful & while there is not much written work in it, what work she did have access to in it was related to her particular Big Interests. she’s still figuring out informal use, but her nature-y notes and spells tend to dwell in lijaa roots.

anthe grew up speaking all of her languages, kind of a hodgepodge of them! she also knows tiny bits n pieces of other languages though (celestial, sylvan, lil bits of giant n undercommon n dwarvish from family members, yfm). her main ones are common, halfling, draconic, and elvish! she is probably best with common and hallfing, but she likes to write in draconic and a lot of her verbal spells take on the sylvanesque elements of elvish, specifically.

ori’s first and best friend is dead. like. he died, and she helped lay him to rest, and she is so furious at herself about it. she knows it’s impossible, but--she wants to bring him back. he didn’t deserve to die. he deserved something kinder. she’s also got her whole, um. her family is watching her via magic and wants to take her and probably lock her up and also she was so stupid to not try and read her brother’s body language in that dream because he’s a good fucking liar, and. ugh. she’s trying not to let herself shatter, basically. she has a tiny glimmer of hope in this whole wings situation, but. she’s... 90% made of verges of breakdowns, right now. i have a lot of ori brain stuff i need to write but this is a very vague summary.

anthe Is Mentally Ill. she’s very happy with nev, and that’s... nev in general is such a bright spot, and anthe hopes that she can be a bright spot for nev, too, but. ziggy and nol are so complicated and vic is going through so much and she can’t help as much as she wants to and she just wants everything to be okay and also a way to know that people don’t hate her or at least to know that people want to be around her where she’s 100% sure they’re not just trying to make sure she doesn’t freak out on them with their answers. on the upside, she’s realized that she wants to live, so, hey. that’s nice.

ori would prank pen or alba and she’s prank with pen or alba. most likely pen in both cases. anthe would prank... no one rn by herself because she doesn’t want to upset people, but she would help nev or vic do a scheme of sorts if nev or vic proposed it.

I’m really depressed

I don’t think I’m ever going to come out of depression. It’s just not going away no matter what I do. I’m always stressed out. I’m always out of money even if I buy what I need. My parents are also going to be out of money all the time now because Walmart isn’t laying my Mom shit and I know it’s because she was gone for a long time with cancer. Walmart doesn’t care about YOU. They only want you working there because it makes them money. They would still make a fuck ton of money if they paid us associates a lot. Every Walmart store makes $1.8 million every HOUR. The store manager gets half of that, but still, the owners of Walmart are rich as hell because they have thousands of Walmarts! Anyway, they’re paying me less too. Even if I lower my 401k to 1%. I don’t know if it’s because I added coverage for vision. I still can’t get health insurance. It says I’m not eligible. Enrollment is on November 15th, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that still. It fucking sucks. I’m probably just going to change my Hulu subscription. I’m also very lonely and sad from that. I have no one I can actually talk to in real life. I legit have only 1 friend and they know who they are. They’re the only one who cares enough to talk to me about anything I talk to them about. Not even my own siblings and parents seem to care. I always feel like I’m not cared for by them. Nowadays I’m real awkward around my dad because I feel like he’s always judging in a weird way and I get these vibes. It’s all very hard to describe. I almost suffocated to death and no one fucking cared. At least I don’t think they did.

You know, I’ve never really ever had friends. I had friends, but I barely ever got to talk to them and hang out with them. Most of the time, I am always alone and I’m alone with my thoughts and feelings. Some things I feel like a real bitch about that is about my friend and I can’t say it. They’d hate me. I have never dated or kissed anyone in my life and I am dying to know what it’s like. Especially kissing. I want my first kiss to be with a girl or anyone who goes by they/them and is a lesbian or bi. Not a guy or a bi guy. That’s second, haha! In 7th grade, he was always on my mind and by that time, he already knew I liked him, but he really hates my guts, lmao! He NEVER liked me. I had to sit in his seat when we moved around to do a group project and after we had to move back to our own seats, he legit switched his chair with the one next to his and I got upset. I remember one time I got in trouble for taking pictures of him on my school iPad! 😂 A stupid bitch also named Megan told on me! It was hat day so I was wearing a hat when I got pulled out of class by our lesbian principal and she talked to me about it. She then asked if I liked him and I put my head down in embarrassment so she couldn’t see the cartoon like smile I was making, but she bent down so she could see me and I couldn’t stop smiling, but then was surprised. She told me to delete them and not to do it again.

Then the fact I found Ray on YouTube and it was actually an accident! Lol! I’ll tell that story later when I have time and it’s going to be on here, so it’s going to be edited!

Okay, I was 14 years old when my sister Haley came home from her bff’s house (she was our friend too, but mostly Haley’s) who lived across from us. She showed me a video that they thought was funny and it was about butts (🤦🏽‍♀️😂 mind you that they’re 2 years younger than me lol) because they looked up “butt song”! 😂 It was a Your Favorite Martian video called: “Booty Store” and it was funny! We then showed my other sister, Regina, and I sat on her bed with her and my sister Haley stood on the floor showing it to us that way and I started to think that the guy rapping was cute (it was basically Ray as a cartoon character and his character’s name is Puff Puff lol). I started to steal Haley’s phone (it was a plum colored HTC phone) all the time, just watching those videos! Eventually, I came across “Road Rage” and at the end of the video, you guessed it, Ray came up and immediately I fell in love with him. I became so addicted to him that I couldn’t stop thinking of him for one second! Eventually, I saw Ray’s =3 (Equals Three) videos pop up by the YFM video! I started watching them and all I cared about was how cute and funny he was, not necessarily the videos he was reviewing, although I remember them too! I would just stare at him and feel so deeply in love. I learned a LOT of dirty jokes from him and other stuff a 14 year old shouldn’t know yet! 😂 I remember once he played troll and said Ray had a lesbian haircut! 😂🤣 I did get in trouble almost every time I stole her phone. I did one day get mad when I was caught again while on the porch and throw it on the porch, breaking it 😬 They didn’t understand that I was obsessing over a 30 year old man! 😂🤷����‍♀️ I obsessed with him for 5 years! That’s EXTREMELY unhealthy for the mind! 😬😐 But, I started paying less attention to him and eventually had a nightmare that he died. I looked up what it means and it said that it means that your crush on them is not as strong as before. I was upset because I never thought, even in a million years, that I’d ever stop loving him that way! I also missed the memories and vibes I got back in 2013 when I was totally obsessed with him! Well, I eventually got over him, but I still love him as a person and still support him. 😁😃 So yeah, that’s about him. Oh yeah! How I met him on August 29, 2017! Yes, on MJ’s birthday and coincidentally on my favorite day of the week, a Tuesday! Taco Tuesday! I’ll write it later! Haha!

Van Beveren Goes Into Attack Mode During Stage Three At Dakar Rally Enjoying a highly positive third day of competition at the 2017 Dakar Rally, Adrien Van Beveren moved closer to the top of the general standings where he’s now provisionally placed sixth overall. Continuing their strong runs all three of Adrien’s Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team partners along with WR450F mounted Xavier de Soultrait finished stage three without problems and are still in the battle for top honours at this year’s event. Featuring a timed special of 364km in the dust of the Argentinean northwest, stage three of this year’s Dakar Rally proved to be a great test for Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team riders’ navigational skills. Remaining focused on his goal for a good final result, Adrien Van Beveren rode a smart race to the finish in San Salvador de Jujuy. Completing the special in a total time of 04:43:21, the WR450F Rally mounted rider claimed a strong sixth place result. Looking to make the most out of his familiarity with the conditions Rodney Faggotter was the second fastest Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team rider finishing today’s stage three in 18th position. Gradually gaining back confidence following his fall during yesterday’s stage, the Aussie opted to take it steady to the finish of the day so that he can now focus on the remainder of the rally. Knowing there is still a long way to go until the finish line in Buenos Aires, Portugal’s Hélder Rodrigues rode a cautious race during stage three to come home in 23rd position. With the race now heading to the mountainous stages of Bolivia, the Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team rider is aiming to put his vast experience to use in order to start climbing closer to the top of the provisional overall standings. For Italy’s Alessandro Botturi it was a day of mixed emotions. Pushing hard for a good result from the first part of the timed special, the WR450F Rally mounted Italian lost a huge amount of time racing in the dust of the leading riders. Struggling to get a good race pace Alessandro finished the special with the 20th fastest time, but was hit by a 20-minute penalty due to missing a waypoint that dropped him to 27th in today’s results. Following his impressive ride yesterday that saw him claim third on stage two, Yamaha France supported Xavier de Soultrait was one of the first riders to take the start of today’s stage three. Assigned with the demanding task to open the tracks along with a small group of riders, the Frenchman suffered a series of mistakes that dropped him to 13th at the end of stage three. Yamaha remains a dominant force in the Quad category. With four Yamaha mounted riders topping today’s stage three, it was Argentina’s Gaston Gonzalez who got away with the stage victory aboard a YFM 700 machine. With three stages completed in this year’s event Yamaha supported Ignacio Casale is provisionally leading the overall standings in the class. Taking place at altitude of around 3,500m tomorrow’s stage four will be another tough test for all Dakar Rally competitors. Including a timed special of 416km the stage will take racers to Bolivia with the day’s bivouac set in the city of Tupiza at 3,000m above sea level. Adrien Van Beveren – Yamalube Yamaha Official Team rider 6th Stage 3 / 6th Overall Everything is going according to plan for me so far. Today I did my best to remain focused on my riding and navigation and it worked out pretty well for my day’s result. I’m now sixth in the provisional overall standings and pretty close to the group of leading riders. I’m really satisfied with my speed as well from today. It was almost impossible to make passes with all that dust in the special, but I stayed calm and went on the attack whenever I felt it was the right time to do so. My plan for this Dakar is clear – I want to take one step and one stage at a time, without rushing things or feeling stressed about things that I can’t control. I think if I remain focused on this goal I have quite a few chances to do well this year. Rodney Faggotter – Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team rider 18th Stage 3 It wasn’t a bad day for me. I was a bit sore from my crash yesterday, so decided to keep it steady and not take any risks. I took my time in the trickiest bits and it turned out I was gaining instead of losing time there. My goal from today was to bring my Yamaha home in one piece avoiding mistakes at any cost. Overall, it was mission accomplished from today’s stage and now we can move on to the next one. I believe the trickiest bit of the race are still to come, so I want to take things easy and focus on my own race. I believe the following few stages until we reach the rest day in La Paz will be crucial for the outcome of this year’s Dakar. Hélder Rodrigues – Yamalube Yamaha Official Team rider 23rd Stage 3 It was a hard day’s work today. With more than four hours of timed special, we spent around twelve hours on our bikes. The greatest challenge for today’s stage was its tricky navigation. There was also lots of dust from riders ahead and that made things a lot more difficult. I decided not to take any risks today and focused on bringing my bike home in one piece. We might have lost some time to the provisional overall leaders, but the race is long. We still have a good 7,000km to reach the finish so anything could happen. My plan is to remain focused on my riding and start pushing more and more as the race goes on. Alessandro Botturi – Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team rider 27th Stage 3 Today we were in for a really, really tough stage. Navigation was challenging from the start and it was almost impossible to get a good race pace. I spent time racing close to Joan Pedrero in the special. Passing riders was nearly impossible today with all that dust and there were some rookies that were taking one too many risks trying to avoid being passed. Riding in all that dust I was also forced to miss a waypoint. I’m not overly happy with my results from the stage, but it is what it is and we should move on. The race is long and there will be a lot more opportunities for me to show what I’m capable of, especially in the tricky mountainous stages that follow. Xavier de Soultrait – Yamaha Viltaïs Experience Michelin FFM rider 14th Stage 3 It was a very difficult stage. Following my third place yesterday I took the start of today’s stage among the leading group of riders and that turned out to be a disadvantage. Navigation was really tricky, especially in the beginning of the special, so we ended up getting lost lots of times and losing precious time. I’m glad this stage is over and I can now focus on tomorrow. The Dakar is so demanding and unpredictable and you can never expect to do great every day. I take things as they are and will continue fighting to get as close as possible to the top five. José Leloir � Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team manager Three stages into this Dakar and we’re satisfied with the progress made so far. These last two stages have been pretty demanding. It’s been a big test for both our riders and our bikes but we are still here and in the game for the top. Adrien did an excellent job today. He raced most of the special in the dust of other riders, but lived up to the challenge to gain several spots in the overall standings. The WR450F Rally has been running great in all kinds of conditions, even in the 4,500m of altitude of today’s special stage. For us the race has just started. We’re just three days into this year’s Dakar and we all know everything could happen.
