Hello my lovely 🐧 anon! Andy and Deva are always right and you're absolutely correct: Alex and Michael should listen to them 🤭 I know it probably would've saved then some of the grief I have planned. Warnings now that that there's one last pretty difficult hurdle they have to get through so here's a part near the happier start of part 2! I'm working on it I swear!

Alex slowly stands and Rosa would think he all but floats to Michael who's walking over but that's surprisingly not far from the truth.

"Keep me updated and I'll see you both in 2 days."

She gives them a look but knows she's already lost them the second their eyes met.

"Love you too Rosa and don't forget my hot sauce next time!"

Michael hollers over his shoulder as they leave through the doors with Andy and Deva following behind.

Before Rosa can stand to go join her sister, Maria takes the empty seat.

"Hey there stranger!" Her eyes flick to the door then back.

"So that's a thing?"

A laugh almost escapes from Rosa but she holds it back.

All the work, pain, and care that those two have been through with each other to keep that love going strong. It still inspires her and she's so happy they've gotten to get to the place they are now.

"Ya suppose so. Kinda crazy right but I don't know it's sort of nice to know love like that exists like a whole decade later and they still want eachother." 

Maria doesn't seem to find her admission as heartwarming.
