what is your favorite c!dream moment in canon? - loyal

Picking one is hard... and if u were to ask again in a week or a month, it would probably be a different one.. but currently, I've been thinking a lot about rivals in prison

But right now, I think my favorite c!Dream moment is during that stream where Techno first visits Dream in Pandora.. That moment when Techno has stepped onto the bridge and Dream screams "NO NO TECHNO, IT'S A TRAP!!!" And later when Sam has closed the lava curtain with Techno in the cell and Dream realizes he's trapped here with him. The panic in his voice as he first mumbles and later screams: "no no no no you were my only way out of here- YOU WERE MY ONLY WAY OUT OF HERE"

The emotion in his voice? The disbelief, the panic, the fear? This moment really feels like the first moment Dream truly loses all hope of ever getting out again. Techno will ofc help him get it back (<3), but in this moment? It really sounds like Dream thinks he's lost everything.

2023 Art Summary~

This year has been such a roller coaster, let me just say! But despite the lows, I'm really proud of the work I did this year, both outside Tumblr, and on. I've had a lot of incredible new opportunities open up to me this year, been on some really cool projects, learned some valuable new skills, and I cannot wait to see where 2024 takes me. And of course, thank you all for being so kind, genuine, funny, and supportive over here on Tumblr. Shout out (can I do a shout out on these kinds of posts? thank you for bearing with my purgatory posting and i'm also glad to see i'm not the only one who still has this fungus eating away at my brain matter. seeing other purgatory posting in the tag makes me feel better lmfao.

yuffie has many interesting elements to her but people refuse to move past "i find energetic kids annoying" and it makes me sad

#first of all...... treat kids with the grace + patience you wish you had been given when you were one. just. in general #second.....#god forbid a 16 year old have flaws...! especially when part of the boisterous energy is because she is masking #she has a very strong love for her home to the point she's gone into unknown territory #entirely in over her head! but she refuses to give up #it's an interesting way to look at how patriotism can affect a person when you look at the differing views of protecting wutai that her and #godo have. i'm so interested to see how 'a miserable daughter's homecoming' is gonna go in remake pt 3 #given that we know they want to expand on wutai more than they could in the OG #remake intermission as well has been rolling around in my head bc i think its interesting that sonon still wants godo to be respected but #yuffie very much is like. nah fuck that old drunkard idgaf. at least thats how it comes across #i've always felt like the kleptomania was allowed to bloom because she didn't receive enough care or support on top of the patriotism from #young age... so the intermission dialogue makes me wonder if we'll delve into that potentially being the truth in part 3 #anyway... rebirth gave such good yuffie + party sibling moments im excited to get more in part 3 #especially with vincent because they're one of the funniest not-quite uncle and niece combos #yuffie ringing vincent post-AC and then he goes to cloud like 'tell her that's illegal' instead of just replying to her normally 💀funny af #pettiness off the charts. i adore their 'i do care about you greatly but i'd also sell you to satan for one (1) corn chip' dynamic #ultimately you like and dislike whatever characters #but its always worth looking past the surface level. you may discover that the layers have a unique charm to them #and if the charms don't appeal after that? well at least you now have a better understanding of the character. win/win #god knows i've tried to like characters and came out of diving into their facets -still- not liking them. but more often than not it #gives me some new appreciation of the character. because the depth is there you just have to put the effort in to connect the dots #(this was spurred on by brainless takes i saw in general chat of a public discord. yes i know. my own fault for looking in a godless place)#these tags are 2 short to add proper nuance to my thoughts but you get the idea. this has been my once in a blue moon ramble post o7 #might delete later i just wanted the thoughts expelled teehee <3

I finished act 2 again, but properly this time. and I cannot even begin to put into words how satisfying and beautiful all of that was. I loved act 2 the first time I played, but figuring out how to save the last light this time, properly completing halsin's quest, storming moonrise towers with jaheira and her harpers, seeing aylin reunite with isobel...all of it. I love it even more. and the beginning of act 3 feels all the more rewarding, having fixed my past errors.

I can't believe I missed so much the first time I played.#but at least having messed up the first time gives me a greater appreciation for the full story.#I did the “lift the shadowcurse” quest SO assbackwards last time I missed like. 90% of halsin's act 2 dialogue.#he IS cute. I am just STUPID. and learned nothing from dunking on gale before- when that was ALSO my own colossal mistake.#jaheira also gets such a badass moment of glory if her harpers as still alive. if you lose last light like I did before...#...god the assault on moonrise feels so...depressing. I felt so fucking bad for her the first time I played.#but I thought that you couldn't save isobel! and that's just what was supposed to happen! fool was I!#oh and if your tav fails the perception check on mizora when she first sends wyll to rescue zariel's asset- HE renegotiates his contract!#which I like better? I like when the companions get to choose their own fate! I like wyll taking a stand for himself! it was awesome!#and well. if corydalis used his outrageous charisma stat to push mizora into giving wyll a funky new sword? that's just friendship <3 #the relationship between aylin and isobel is beautiful.
