Gave this extra Slate head a lobotomy (i was curious about the inside of his head) and, since it fit the RH jr body, im using it to stabalize the head capsule. Now the head is stable! I might glue some foam to the inside of the capule above the Slate head tho, just to be safe.

I'll probably use some thin layers of air dry clay to erase the tiny holes in the capsule. If u have other solutions to the tiny holes, pls tell me :D

I also primed the head so i can paint it. It be drying rn.

This is a fun project! But im freaking dreading the moment ill have to give it a face. Never done it before and im not sure how to paint it.

I have idea! Idk imma do it... BUT I WILL

“I know we literally just kissed, but can I kiss you again?”

Jared feels nervous asking this question, their eyebrows low and drawn together. Their eyes are on Evan, who is still cradling their jaw with his left hand, their own hands are wringing together nervously. His blue eyes are a bit distant as his right hand sets two fingers upon his lips, the corners of his mouth tilting up in a small smile. Their nervousness melts a little at the sight, their hand coming to cover Evan’s on their face. His eyes move up, connecting with an expression of yearning.

“Ev?”

Evan hums, his light blush going from pink to red as he steps back into awareness. His eyes move from Jared’s, and he attempts to take his hand away, but they only let it go far enough to properly hold it, slotting their fingers between Evan’s.

An “oh” falls softly from his lips as Evan stares at their hands. Then his eyes are moving up to theirs again. They decide to take the first move this time, leaning forward slowly enough that Evan can back out if he doesn’t want to. 

Just like the first time, Jared feels slightly giddy, cheeks warming under the intimacy of this act. They can feel Evan’s hand on their face again, laid softly against their cheek, a thumb running feather-light under their eye. Jared finds their right hand migrating to Evan’s hip, giving light pressure as his thumb traces circles over the fabric.

“Is this okay?” Evan whispers once they back away. It’s like he’s afraid to be too loud to hear over the pop songs playing downstairs. Maybe they are, too, the prospect of Heidi interrupting this fragile moment is something that they find terrifies them. They push those thoughts back into their head to focus on Evan again.

“Yes,” Jared breathes, as their forehead dips to rest against Evan’s shoulder. His hand moves to their back, running up and down in comforting motions. Jared sighs, letting their eyes close again as they take in the smell from the candle burning not too far from them. It was something sweet, but not overwhelming, and definitely one that they’d have to get the name for.

“Does this mean you want to be my boyfriend?” Jared murmurs, staying in place, but straining their ears so they could catch the answer. They feel the vibrations from his chest as Evan laughs.

“Of course.” 

They chance a peek at his face, tilting their head enough to see. Evan is smiling widely, excitedly, and his other hand, the one off of Jared’s back, is being shaken rapidly. His joy is infectious as Jared sits back up, Evan’s left hand joining in on the shaking, and Jared finds themself wanting to join, leg twitching every few seconds and pressure filling their chest.

They smile wide at Evan, and their hands move frantically over the somewhat rough surface of their jeans, the roughness positively adding to the experience. Evan laughs again, and slowly calms down, watching as Jared expels the buzzing energy from their own chest. Their smile turns back into a fond one, and then it morphs into a smirk before they break the silence.

“Since you’re my boyfriend now, does that mean I can actually ask you to cuddle with me?”
