Lab Rat
AN: My trash brain came up with this idea one day while listening to Pay Attention and that one line about the lie detector hearing aids. Then I thought about that part at the beginning and knew I had to write it! Took me way too long to finish, but here ya go! Hope you enjoy!
Curt enjoyed being down in the lab. For starters, all the gadgets and equipment drew his attention everywhere he looked, so he was always entertained. He'd move from one item to the next before he even learned what the previous object was or what it did. He also really enjoyed Barb's company. She was bubbly and energetic, and could never stay mad at him for too long no matter what he did. It was a much welcomed balance to Cynthia, who had just given him poisoned coffee a half hour ago after chewing him out.
He burst into the lab, eyes immediately settling on the short blonde. "How's my favorite neeerd?" he yelled, smirking when she jumped at the loud volume.
"Oh hi Curt!" she waved excitedly and rushed over. She fiddled with her glasses and looked down at her shoes. "I'm fine, how are you?"
He looked around the large lab and said, "Bored, which is why I'm here. This place is practically a toy store for me." Her eyes widened and a nervous look swept across her face.
"It's really not, you can't just barge in here and start messing with whatever you want- PUT THAT DOWN!" She rushed over and yanked the monocle from his hand. He leaned over her shoulder to get a better look at it.
"Why? What's it do?"
She let out a huff of air and set it back on it's tray. "It's a very delicate piece of spy-wear that can allow you to run an instant background check on nearby people, and it can help you locate your target in a large crowd so you don't lose track of them," she explained. Curt let out a low whistle.
"Wow, maybe I'll get to use it soon!" Barb shook her head, "I'm sorry, but knowing you,  you'd probably break it."
"Hey!" he protested. She continued, "Plus it just wouldn't look right on you. Monocles are all posh and fancy and you're... not. It would suit Owen much better."
He chuckled and crossed his arms, "Yeah, no one's more posh than that bastard. Heh, he'll probably look like a stuffy old guy wearing it." Barb couldn't help but to giggle in agreement. Curt fed off her encouragement and mocked his partner. He raised his voice a few octaves and gave it a very bad British accent, waving his hands in the air as he spoke. "Oh Curt look at me, I'm so cool and collected all the time! You see it's because I'm British, so that means I'm faaar superior than youu." He even went as far as to shift his jaw to make it look crooked.
Barb's mouth hung open in shock, light laughter spilling out despite her best efforts. She covered her mouth as a snort slipped out and she smacked his arm. "Curt that's not nice!"
That just made him beam. "I know, which is why it's so funny." She just crossed her arms and shook her head fondly.
"Curt Mega you're ridiculous. But, I do have something you could test for me!" she said excitedly. He rubbed his hands together with enthusiasm for what awaited him.
"Great! What is it? Something cool, like a flame throwing pen or a bow tie that shoots acid?" he asked, bouncing on his heels. Barb shook her head, "No but remind me to make that pen, it sounds useful. I need you to test this hearing aid," she said and carefully placed them on his ears. She was on her tip toes trying to reach them, so Curt bent down for her to put them on easier.
"Thank you!" she chirped. She took out a small remote and started fiddling with it.
"So, what's this supposed to do exactly?" She smirked, "You'll see. Just tell me how bad on a scale of 1 to 10."
His brows furrowed, "How bad what-" she pushed the button and cut him off. He yelped and scrunched his shoulders, rubbing his ear. She smacked him to make him stop.
"Did it really hurt that much?" she questioned.
"It was supposed to hurt?" he asked. She let out a huff of a laugh, "Well yeah, it's supposed to electrocute you. Did it not?"
"Uh no, not really." She placed her hands on her hips, slightly annoyed that her invention wasn't working as planned.
"Well it did something!" she argued.
"Yeah, it did," he trailed off. She waited expectantly, her hands placed on her hips as she stared up at him.
"Well? Mind telling me?" He didn't meet her eyes, rubbing the back of his neck. It was embarrassing, and he really didn't want to tell her.
"I'd rather... not." She scoffed at him, throwing her hands up in annoyance.
"Well geez, that's helpful! C'mon Curt, you can tell me," she tried coaxing. When he still didn't, she sighed. "Look, I know I was a little harsh, but that's only because it didn't work the way I want it to, it has nothing to do with you," she clarified, thinking that his reluctance to speak was because of her snappish tone.
"It's not that." She became puzzled now and tilted her head in confusion.
"Then what is it?"
He rolled his eyes, not liking having to explain. "It didn't hurt it just felt, I don't know, weird." He did know. He knew exactly what it did, and hated how much it affected him. He's one of the world's greatest spies, there is absolutely no reason for him to be this ticklish! He's supposed to be the suave tough guy, an intimidating manly man. You can't keep up an image like that if you can be reduced to an incoherent mess by a few prodding fingers, can you? No, you can't, which is exactly why he didn't want to tell her. But this is Barb we're talking about, he can trust her with that sort of information. There isn't anything he could do that could tarnish her view of him as a strong spy.
"Weird huh? Could you describe it better?"
"Uhh-"
"'Cause I know you have a better vocabulary than that," she smirked. Curt finally conceded.
He lowered his voice so that only she could hear. "It just tickled is all, okay? Happy now?" Her smile only grew.
"Why didn't you just say so?" she chirped. "Now if your don't mind, I need to run some calibrations to see how far off it is." Curt didn't like the mischievous gleam in her eyes. "This might tickle," she teased as her finger pressed down on the button.
Curt was about to protest, reaching out to stop her but squealed at the light jolting sensations. His neck scrunched up to try and shield himself, only for it not to work. He reached up to take them off, a stream of high pitched giggles flooding the room. She acted quickly and dug into his stomach, sending his arms crashing down. He tugged at her hands, but she simply twisted out of his grasp and targeted a different spot. Curt was a laughing jittery mess completely at her will.
"Ah! Mahahake ihihit stop!" he pleaded. His legs were growing weak and he leaned against the wall for support. This just allowed her better access as she crawled her fingers up his ribs.
"I'm sorry Curt, but I can't do that! It's just too fun!" she chirped, making him blush. This sucked so much, people were starting to look, yet nobody offered to help. Probably because he had ruined a good few of their projects by accident... Looks like he'd be on his own. He couldn't help but to snort when she squeezed his hips, trying to to push her away. Though he wasn't trying as hard as he knew he could, he didn't want to hurt her! So instead he suffered at her mercy, of which she granted none. She giggled at the noises coming out of his mouth.
"Oh my God this is great! Who would've thought you were so sensitive? Better not let the bad guys know about this," she winked and skittered her nails across his neck. His laughter became more frantic as he did his best to dislodge her evil fingers. The buzzing electricity at his ears was driving him absolutely mad as his laughter turned silent. He mustered up the strength to reach up and yank them off, his laughter beginning to die down when Barb backed off.
She just stood there smugly, one hand on her hip, the other held out with the palm up expectantly. He failed to suppress a hiccup before he spoke, "You're fucking ruthless, you know that?" He dropped the small torture devices in her hand and patted her shoulder to help stable himself.
She was positively beaming, "Everyone in this business is at least a little bit ruthless, you should know that by now."
"Heh, yeah, guess we're all a bunch of twisted bastards," he joked.
"That we are," a new voice sounded from behind and Curt stiffened. He whipped around to see Cynthia walking towards them. Her heels echoed in the lab with a satisfying click clack. An uncharacteristic smile warmed her usually harsh features as she approached. He cleared his throat to speak.
"Cynthia! You, uh, didn't see that, did you?"
"Oh Mega, don't ask questions you don't want the answer to." That told him all he needed to know and he adverted his gaze from his boss. She continued, "Keep trying on those hearing aids, I think you're onto something."
Barb nodded, "Yes ma'am! Though I think I'm just gonna scrap these and start over."
Cynthia glanced at the gear in her hands and looked her up and down. "Hm. That's a shame, it was pretty entertaining to watch." At those words his cheeks turned a pale pink, making her smirk. She was about to turn and leave, but stopped to face Curt.
"She's right, you better not let anyone else find out about you're little weakness.  You don't want anyone else using it against you," she said in a tone that was almost teasing and reached out to squeeze his side. She chuckled when he jumped and smacked her hand away, shaking her head fondly. With that, she left.
Curt glared down at Barb, but his smile made the look less threatening. "I'm never gonna live that down am I?" She was grinning so much that her eyes squinted at the corners.
"Nope." Curt simply let out a sigh at the confirmation of his fate. He didn't dwell on it for too long though.
He clapped his hands to break the silence, "If you don't mind, I think I'll hang on to these. Pretty good for a prank, and I think I know just the posh son of a bitch to try it out on." He couldn't keep his smile at bay as he began to scheme.
Barb nudged his arm with her shoulder, "Now who's the ruthless one?"

Guess who fixed SAI! And just in time for the BEST @inavember day--miximax day!!
It sure has been a while since my last proper post, so I wanted to bring something nice to the table. I sinned by first showing the idea of Tetsukado’s miximax with Tsunami through crappy doodles, so I think I owed you all a proper post about him, final design and all. So, here it is! He’s a tricky one to draw in general terms, but not too bad compared to other people. In fact, his might be one of the less convoluted designs... It’s cool for a change.
Anyway, more about TetsuTsuna’s powers under the cut!
Well, all goes once we’re under the cut, so let’s make use of that! How are you all doing? I’m rather tired, but still okay, all in all, because my internship is going well! For those who didn’t read my latest update, I’m currently working as a scriptwriter for a local videogame company, which is a dream come true~ My boss just congratulated me for a work well done, so I have no complaints there. =u=
Also, all this hype made me want to complete the very first Inazuma game once and for all, and I actually managed to do so! ...Somehow! Ura Zeus are some overpowered bastards with an extremely high level (in the European version, at least--I know it’s different in the Japanese one, although I don’t know exactly how different), but I eventually managed to score five goals against them without receiving any. It only took 20+ victories, haha-- Gosh, levelling up in that game is painful, and facing level 90 enemies with level 50-60 players is not a walk in the park... But all is well that ends well! I hope you guys have been having fun too. So, without further ado, let’s get straight to the point.
Golly, it’s been so long since my last time explaining someone’s powers that I don’t even remember how it works, so please bear with me, ha ha. For the sake of keeping things simple, let’s pick up from where we left off last time.
As you may recall/have just read, I left a couple of cliffhangers in that post, so let’s cover them. I first explained why no one from Inazuma Japan would truly benefit from Tsunami’s aura, but I made sure to specify that Kabeyama and Hijikata would be the worst candidates to mix with him, unlikely as it may seem when you think about how much both of them share with Tsunami. The reason why is probably very clear for those of you who are familiar with the games, but let’s explain it for those who either couldn’t know or simply didn’t make that connection. No shame there. uvu And, in order to do so, we must talk about the first hissatsu Tetsukado would get from miximaxing with Tsunami. It’s a personal favourite of mine.
The first and main hissatsu Tetsukado gains is the excellent Whale Guard! Whale Guard is Tsunami’s game-exclusive signature move, as he has this technique in every game of the original trilogy and in all of his incarnations within those games. It’s a really cool block technique and, objectively, the one that would be the most useful to Tetsukado, since he’s a defender and all.
Now, Whale Guard is awesome, but it’s a combo hissatsu for two people. And not just for any two people. No, sir. To perform this technique, Tsunami must ride a character who has a large body and use him as a boat while the field gets flooded. Among all the players in the team, the only ones Tsunami can rely on to do this are Kabeyama and Hijikata. Therefore, what’s the point of giving Tsunami’s aura to someone who won’t even be able to use Tsunami’s hissatsus, since their role is to be ridden and not to ride someone else? (Man, that sounds WRONG, but bear with me.) Characters with a large body can’t call the whale in the game, and I take it as part of the challenge to keep things accurate to canon not only in terms of story, but in terms of gameplay and mechanics too. So, on top of all the reasons i explained last time, this automatically excludes them both from getting Tsunami’s aura too.
This, however, leads us to the next front I left open: can Tetsukado really bring out Tsunami’s true potential even if he is playing with Earth Eleven and Kabeyama and Hijikata aren’t there? The answer, as I said last time, is obviously yes! Despite not having them around, Tetsukado can always rely on someone else to help him, and that is no other than good ol’ Kusaka! While body shapes in GO aren’t as precise--nor restrictive--as they were in the first trilogy, it’s obvious that Kusaka has a rather large and muscular body, (kinda) similar to Hijikata’s. Kusaka could easily serve TetsuTsuna as a boat/surfing board/whatever while he does his whale-calling thing. And they aren’t too far apart within the field either, so it’s even more viable than Endou using The Phoenix or something crazy like that. ww (But I still love how extra Endou is when he goes all the way to the opposite goal to shoot. You go, baby boy.)
Anyway, that’s about it for unsolved questions, so let’s ask ourselves some new questions now! The most obvious one being, “What’s TetsuTsuna’s second hissatsu?” The answer will probably make people frown, but I couldn’t care less. *+*+*
Let us not forget what Tsunami is known for: being super over-the-top and shooting despite a defender. So, like it or not, Tetsukado needs to get a shot hissatsu or this miximax would be absolute poop. So, Tsunami Boost or The Typhoon? SCREW THEM BOTH--SPARKLE WAVE ALL THE WAY!!
...I’m surprised I can still talk when so many people have just jumped at my neck and ripped it off with their bare teeth, but I’ll use the last minutes of my life to explain why Sparkle Wave is a far better option in this case even though Tsunami Boost or The Typhoon are much more signature-ish than it.
First of all, let’s remember that my adored sister @ishidoshuuji used to call me “Champion of the Unloved.” I just can’t help but fall for those things no one else likes or cares about. I HAVE AFFECTION ISSUES AND THIS HITS ME CLOSE, OKAY. And, obviously, Tsunami Boost and The Typhoon are far, FAAAR more popular than Sparkle Wave. After all, those were used a gazillion times, while Sparkle Wave was only used a single time in a movie that no one seems to have watched. And that’s exactly what I’m going at: Sparkle Wave is still completely unexploited! Tsunami’s other techniques have been used plenty of times and are all worn out by now, but Sparkle Wave is nice, new and shiny. Why should we repeat old formulas when we have new ones to explore? That’s much more interesting. And come on--I thought we were all always starving to see new techniques!
The second reason is that Tetsukado has miximaxed with adult Tsunami. Yes, Tsunami Boost and The Typhoon were Tsunami’s signature moves, but that was when he was a teenager. Tsunami is now an adult and, as an adult, he didn’t use Tsunami Boost or The Typhoon. He used Sparkle Wave. Only and exclusively Sparkle Wave. Like it or not, in terms of anime canons, aka what most people move within, Sparkle Wave is adult Tsunami’s signature move. His only move, in fact. ww So it only makes sense that adult Tsunami would grant Tetsukado the ability to use his new signature move.
And last, but by no means least, is the fact that adult Tsunami used Sparkle Wave over his old hissatsus. The fact that he did this means Tsunami developed a new technique at some point, his strongest one yet, and started using it by default instead of the old ones. Therefore, and obviously, giving Tsunami Boost to Tetsukado would be a completely pointless nerf, since it’s obviously inferior at this point and Tetsukado is miximaxing precisely because he wants more power. As such, it only makes sense to borrow the strongest technique you can possibly get, right? There is a difference between being confident and being stupid, if you know what I mean. ww
Yes, I know most people won’t be convinced, but these are my arguments. And they’re more than good enough for me, thankfully. ww So, moving on!
(Also, Minna Ike Ike! is a close third. I loved the idea of TetsuTsuna getting this, but there isn’t room for everything, and actual hissatsus are always more exciting. Too bad.)
To finish with the whole issue of hissatsus, let’s talk about which of Tetsukado’s own techniques would get boosted thanks to Tsunami. For once, this is pretty easy and straightforward. ...As you know from that stupid pun, it’s obviously Dead Straight. After all, the fact that Tetsukado has a technique like that is part of the reason why he and Tsunami are such a great match! Tsunami is known for his shot techniques, after all.
Also, Dead Straight is a shot hissatsu, but one that can be strategically used from Tetsukado’s position--that is, much like Tsunami’s techniques. Yes, Tsunami Boost and Sparkle Wave are long shots while Dead Straight is a block shot, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s rather unusual for defenders to have shots--and ones that can be used imaginatively, no less! The combination of both will give Tetsukado a ton of resources, and that’s precisely the point of this project to begin with.
To end this rant, it’s interesting to see how Tsunami will change Tetsukado’s natural abilities/stats. We know from the anime that Tsunami is the super excited and swift kind, but he’s also fairly strong. Tetsukado is much more muscular, but his footwork is--obviously--impressive too, although he can’t match Tsunami’s natural speed. They are kind of opposite, really. ...Or are they?
What the anime canon pretends to say is not so supported by NUMBERS, aka my favourite thing ever. A quick look at Tetsukado’s and adult Tsunami’s stats in Galaxy will tell us that, hey--Tsunami happens to be TWICE AS GOOD AS TETSUKADO AT KICKING! Ain’t that fun! In fact, Tsunami is better than Tetsukado in every single sense, save for Block and Stamina. However, the difference isn’t always all that noticeable, so it doesn’t make sense for TetsuTsuna to be much faster than normal Tetsukado when Tsunami is only 5 points better than him. However, more noticeable differences, like the aforementioned kicking capabilities, do make a great difference here--especially since Tetsukado will be shooting much more than before now. This is especially useful when combined with Dead Straight, which can block opposing shots and even reflect them if the user’s kick stat is strong enough. How convenient, huh! ...Oh, and his technique goes up too? Might be useful to get some advanced hissatsus going, but that’s not very relevant plot-wise, I’m afraid lmao
All in all, TetsuTsuna’s main perk and niche within this team is the fact that he’s bringing back everything Tsunami once was and multiplying it by adding Tetsukado’s own natural abilities to the mix: a terrific stamina, new shots to make better use of Tsunami’s awesome kicking stat and, of course, his fantastic Soul! Fairly straightforward, I know, but very much needed all the same. We all wanted Tsunami back, and no one wanted him back as much as I did. Not to mention that, as I said last time, it has SO much plot potential. Oh, God.
...If only I had a plot. rip.

Hola me amigos! Onwards and upwards! This one’s a bit longer than the last couple of posts :)
___________________________________________________
(By the end of tour I dropped the ball and took fewer and fewer photos, especially the day sheets so pretend there’s one here)
DAY 17: Seville, Spain. As I mentioned in the previous post, I got a bit lazy on this day and my back was starting to hurt, so I decided that I was going to have the day ‘off’ and not go out exploring. I needed some time to myself so I just chilled out for a little while in our room, slept a bit more, took a long bath and just relaxed. Seville is beautiful and I will need to go back to check it out properly, but I was happy to miss a little bit to just get some “me” time.
So after the day to myself and the group back it was time to get ready for our optional dinner and Flamenco show. Unfortunately we were only allowed to take photos right at the end of the show, but it was pretty cool to see. It did drag out a bit, but when you’ve got food and wine you make the most of it.
We had the night to ourselves and we didn’t have to be up quite as early as we had been in Morocco, so we hung out in the beautiful summer night, bouncing around a few clubs/bars that were on the same street.
Amy and I ended up going into the Irish pub for a bit (whiskey for Amy, Bailey’s for me) and a couple of the other girls were there as well. Ryan came and hung over with us for a bit and ended up buying us dessert which was lovely.
We were out for a few hours and I feel like I caught a taxi home with Amy & Nads – not too early – but there were plenty of the group still out and about. Still had to pack all my shit up and say goodbye to the wonderful hotel suite :P
___________________________________________________________
DAY EIGHTEEN: We say goodbye to Seville and Spain for a few days because we’re on the road to Portugal! Final destination: Lisbon – or more accurately, Lisboa.
Logan and I were stilling behind Molly and Simone – we frequently sat together on the coach, the four of us. Now, I feel like I’m going to get the sequence of events wrong so sorry if this is out of order, but we’ll get there! (I believe) We were scheduled to stop once we’d gone over the border into Portugal for lunch and out firs experience of authentic Portuguese tarts.
We stopped in an adorable town called Tavira.
I think it was as we were coming into Tavira but poor Simo was suddenly not well. She blacked out/passed out on the coach a couple of times and it scared the bejeezus out of me. Luckily our very own Nurse-Nadia was there to help while we waited for the ambulance. Because we had to wait for Sim to be allowed to leave the hospital, had some extra time in Tavira which wasn’t bad. It was a very cute little place and it was a beautiful warm day, we just all felt so bad for Simone.
—————————————-
Back on the road after our stop and Simone back with the group, we continued on to Lisbon! Before we stopped at our hotel, we visited some of the cities biggest monuments – monuments that are instantly recognisable….from other cities?
Christo Rei – Christ the Redeemer. Portugal’s answer to Rio’s famous statue. It was based on the one in Brazil when then one of the Cardinal’s of Portugal visited the original in Rio.
And we have the 25 de Abril Bridge. This suspension bridge look familiar to anyone? Often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco (although they were built by two different companies” the 25 de Abril Bridge is the largest suspension bridge in the world.
The city of Lisbon in the background
We had finally arrived! This would be our home for the next two days. Dropping our bags off at the hotel, we were out in the main city centre for a walking tour.
Logan and I had previously talked about getting a tattoo together in Lisbon. So we passed on the walking tour, grabbed a quick dinner before going exploring to find a tattoo parlour that we’d looked up previously. Walking around the city was great – its a very hilly place and its said to be similar to San Fransisco. We arrived at the tattoo place and asked them about our respective tattoos that we wanted.
It was far too much for either of us so we didn’t end up doing it. We wandered and got a drink, listened to some street music before meeting up with everyone else in the main square to head back to the hotel.
One of the guys who had been on the first part of our tour (and had finished his tour) had booked a room in the hotel we were in. He had managed to procure some weed (we think it was weed but you know) so the two of us hung out with him in his room for a few hours. It didn’t do too much for us and we think it may have been tea haha. Note to everyone: don’t buy drugs from the rando’s in Portugal – its not good stuff :P
So after a few hours we buggered off and went to bed to be ready for tomorrow.
____________________________________________________
DAY NINETEEN: Today we were up an at ’em, we had three main stops for the day; the Belem District in Lisbon, the forested area of Sintra and finally the beach town of Cascais. We started our day with a quick tour of the Belem District on the waterfront.
Here we got to see the Torre de Belem, the Tower of Belem which was designed as both a  defence system at the mouth of the Tagus river and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon.
Then we have the Monument to the Discoveries. It’s hard to get this bugger all in one shot as every side is different and so very detailed. Its placed along the river where the ships left from to trade with Asia.
Our final landmark that we saw in Lisbon was the Jeronimos Monastery. A UNESCO World Heritage sight, its dated back to 1495. I know that for me, its just amazing that buildings can be that old and still look so amazing fresh and new. For someone who comes from a fairly ‘young’ country, its just insane that there are buildings this old. Its always blown my mind. Small things you know :P
_________________________________________
Back on the coach and a half hour drive North-West, we arrived at the wonderful and very different area of Cascais. For those who know where I live, that’s what the drive through the hills reminded me of – driving around the winding roads through forest and it being just so peaceful. I immediately fell in love with the place.
The whole town of Sintra is also a UNESCO sight due to all of the architecture and the statues etc blah blah blah – I’ll try not to lecture too much! Anyway, its got 3 cool looking castles, pastel-coloured buildings, amazing pastries. Its well-known for cork products of all things! The shops were fun to look through. Shoes, bangles, jewellery, coasters etc etc.
We didn’t get too much time here before we had to move on. Looping back around via the coast, we had a quick photo stop for our first glimpse of Cascais.
Elodie, Ryan & Logan
We got here for lunchtime and Areti took the group to a restaurant for the ‘best peri peri chicken’. Everyone was really excited for that, meanwhile Logan and I dug into a bottle.
Lunch done and dusted, the group kind of disintegrated into smaller factions as we were set loose in Cascais for the afternoon. Some of us just HAD to get an ice-cream, we’d been talking about it forever and we needed it NOW. Luckily at the beachside, there were many ice cream shops so we were satiated.
Me being me, I will never say no to a swim and the beach was where I made a bee-line for. Mollie, Adam, Elodie and a few others grabbed their beach gear and enjoyed the rays. Knowing how easily I burn, I’m not great at sitting still for too long so I swam out to boats and back a few times.
Mojito Time
After a while, we knew we had to start making our way back to the pick-up point, so we reluctantly left the beach. But not before Mollie and I got a sneaky Mojito in on the way back!
Heading back to the hostel in Lisbon, we had an optional Portuguese dinner tonight – our second last night with the group – and for some who wanted to finish in Portugal, their last evening with the group! It’s a surreal thing being part of a tour. You bond really quickly because you need to. You’re sharing everything with the people around you. And then all of a sudden its just over, done, finished. The endings always suck.
______________________________________________
Dinner was mainly seafood. I remember that much….it was good I’m assuming, otherwise I’d remember it for being shitty. I just remember Logan got stuck sitting opposite Bianca and she got the staring treatment that I’d been getting for most of the trip. Sorry Logan, but I’m just so glad it wasn’t me for once!
After dinner we went out to this tiny little club. It was so small we barely all fit. But the music was just so me. It was perfect. I remember one of the girls calling me jukebox because I knew all the songs – it was 80’s fantastic and I could’ve stayed there the whole night!
But alas, we couldn’t stay all night as we had another venue to check out, the K Urban  Beach Club. I drank faaar too much,  but it was a fantastic time!
It was a lovely way to end the part of our Portugal section of the tour.
I vaguely remember getting a taxi with Kat…and maybe Nads….not quite sure! But we made it back to the hotel. It was a long day of driving coming up for the next day and I’d had plenty of alcohol whilst out so I passed out as soon as I hit the bed.
__________________________________________________
OKAY! That’s all from me at the moment. We’re coming up to the final stretch of contiki now. One more full day then done! I WILL make it before January finishes :P
Thanks for reading along!
