Regarding my last post, here are

Acceptable Captain names that aren’t Ted/Teddy + explanations

- Edward (we can still get Teddy and I acc prefer this to Theodore I just use Theo for fanfic purposes)

- Roger ( I read a fanfic once and I thought it was kinda fun)

- John (LIKE JOHN DOE IM SO NORMAL ABOUT THIS BUT PLEASE ITS SUCH A GOOD PUN THEY CANT MISS IT)

- Richard (can be shortened to Dick)

- Gaylord (PLEASE I HAD A GREAT UNCLE GAYLORD ITS A REAL NAME PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE)

- Maurice (I know we couldn’t bcause of pat’s Maurice but literally I’d literally die)

- William ( it could work cause we might’ve misinterpreted the letter like Havers already gave it to him and he was going to respond in person + can be shorted to Willie)
