Was working in the horror room today and banged me Scary Metal Post TM on the designated banging box and gave myself tinnitus 😭
#scare actor#my work is a health and safety nightmare but especially the horror room#shocked no one has died in there#so far the worst injuries were customers concussing themselves and one coworker who fell off a countertop in the dark and broke his arm#but like... there aren't any guidelines for what we can and can't do#can I drag someone across the floor? sure! can I warn people in the H&S brief that that might happen? no!#full force banging a metal post in complete darkness right next to a team? yep! banging on wooden chopping block? no!#can customers chokehold us with no repurcussions? yes!#it's an accident waiting to happen#multiple coworkers have been attacked in there and customers don't get thrown out for it#one small coworker got picked up by her collar and choked but still had to finish running that room even though she was in tears!!!#there is 1 (one) coworker who has scare training and actually can deal with that kind of situation out of 25 people
