So, as much as the thought of pretending to be dopily in love with Brad fills Beckett with a weird sickly feeling she can’t quite put her finger on, she has an obligation to put the effort in. Because Beckett’s a great friend. Because she never says no to a prank. And because Will – the Boimler who didn’t come back – definitely deserves it.

Mariner agrees to pose as Boimler's girlfriend at a Titan reunion party, in an effort to outshine Will after his big promotion. With ample practice, a lot of lying, and several glasses of champagne, what could possibly go wrong?

It had the pointed ears and she could already hear the lecture he was about to give her. “Not even close.” The voice was deep, but distinctly female. Stephanie jumped. With a quick slice of a blade, the woman cut away the rope holding Stephanie’s arms and ankles.

“All the goddamn mercenaries and contract killers I’ve called and not a single fucking one of you is willing to kill one mob boss?” The man on the other end got so huffy, he made the call go static for a moment. Lance made a point to snort loud enough for the guy to hear. “I wouldn’t take a contract for any mob boss in Gotham. But I’m sure as hell not taking one for the Red Hood. It’s called self-preservation. Google it if you have to.”

Terry refuses to call them anything but panties. They certainly didn’t cover any more skin than panties would. He hadn’t the slightest clue how everything stayed in place with the skimpy, shimmering fabric. If Terry went out wearing that, he’d only win fights by making villains piss themselves from laughing after he accidentally flashed them.

“Shiva,” Slade hummed, as soon as he could pinpoint a specific move the little bird couldn’t have learned from anywhere else. “The Bat convinced Shiva to train you, didn’t he?” Granted, Robin wasn’t as sharp with them, but he wasn’t half bad for the scrawny thing he was. Slade tried to kick the kid in the head, but he managed to flip out of the way, landing in a crouch a few feet away from Slade.

hello re your tags I'm a person who's been here for 12 years with less than 100 followers! in my experience I a) dont talk to ppl I don't already know irl (or if i do reach out, im on anon, hello) and I b) don't make (or rarely make) original posts, so while I've been active in a looooot of fandoms over the years, have followed lots of blogs, and reblog a lot, most ppl just don't end up following back! also with blogs deactivating over time, I probably have less than half the no. of followers than I did at my "peak".

as a side note and exemplifying the above, we live in the same city and I've followed you for years, but I've never talked to you bc of how I usually operate lol
