So as I started to make breakfast burritos for Damien's work tomorrow, I said to him "ya know, I really need a bar stool, or something that's counter height so I can sit down while I do this" (b/c making 56 burritos takes a couple hours!). And he sits there and thinks for a minute, then after a little trial and error and some tinkering in the garage, he comes back in with this crazy setup. It was the perfect height, and actually pretty comfortable! Then, I told him that my feet were dangling and my legs would start hurting, so he goes over and grabs a couple empty Johnny Walker boxes and puts one under each foot... Perfect fit! East Berlin: An Oracle from Audre Lorde

You are wondering whether or not you will have to punch a Nazi.  You are wondering how these Nazi’s got so much political power in the United States.   As always, turn to the Lorde.  Audre Lorde responded to Nazi violence in the streets and in the legislature in Germany at the end of her life with protest and passion.  This is an alphabetized oracle (proper nouns mostly excluded) from her poem “East Berlin.”
