Look, I never wanted to be a half-blood...

Discord of the Gods is a 15+ Camp Half-Blood roleplay Discord server, which takes place in an alternate universe of Camp Half-Blood where the events of Percy Jackson & The Olympians, as well as all sequel series, never took place. Instead, it is our demigods and our OCs which will populate the world. Together in this server, we will write our own stories and chart our own destinies.

This server is an OC-only RP server and uses a dice and skill system to create unique combinations of character abilities and to encourage unpredictability in RP. We have regular events including Capture the Flag, skill competitions, bonfires and sing-a-longs, and even field trips to Olympus – as well as an overall plot that’s slowly unfurling!

Our grand opening (aka the start of camp) is January 20th, 2024 - but feel free to join in before that and start creating your characters and building connections!

I’m showing some of my favorite Percy Jackson ocs. They are triplets with the same mom but different godly dads. (They are just as confused as you about it). They are 12. They were claimed in the order Azzie, Axel, and Aslan. Yes I know It’s gacha club. I just suck at drawling and I like to put into it what i think they look like. They are based off of a funny post I saw a while ago but I don’t have the post exactly. (If y’all know which post I’m talking about lmk)

Blue hoodie boy: Aslan, son of Apollo. When Axel was claimed Aslan was a little upset. He believed that he would also be a son of Ares. He used to have dark brown hair like his brother till he was claimed by Apollo at which his hair was sunbleached blonde. He is a little more shy, sensitive, and reserved than his triplets. He is really good at shooting guns but horrible at using bow and arrows. His powers include prophetic visions, target accuracy, and small amounts of healing+music.

Purple shirt girl: Azzie, daughter of Dionysus. Azzie loves theater and has always been a good actor. She is a little bit of a drama Queen but really sweet. She’s very optimistic and sarcastic. She doesn’t normally use weapons, but she uses powers of insanity. She dreams of becoming a broadway actor. If you know them well you realize that she’s the true leader of her siblings.

Green shirt boy: Axel, son of Ares. He is the “loudest” of his siblings. Everyone who meets them would think that he is the leader of the siblings. He can summon the dead of any loosing battle, although he gets woozy after summoning more than 5. He has a Stygian iron sword that is a gift from Ares.

I have many more Ocs based out of Percy Jackson. Most are for a generation of demigods after our current roster go to college. If you would like to see more I can share them :) I am open to Role playing with my ocs, although nothing 18+

A few days ago I started reading the Lost Hero and now I am looking for someone (or multiple people) for a roleplay!

What I have in mind is our characters to be the heroes of the newest quest.

New at Camp or being a Camper for years, together they need to set out into the world to save Camp and the world as they know it.

It doesn't have to start with them receiving their quest, after all our characters should get to know each other before they'll save the world together. Some day-to-day Camp life, receiving their quest, fighting monsters - it's all on the table.

Any plot details can be discussed with me, it's just that very loose idea that I like

Hey yall! So this is a bit different from my normal posts but I was think why not try?

So I'm looking for someone that might want to do a one-on-one roleplay! I am open to homemade or fandom-based ones with anyone of any gender identity!

This is going to be alot of info but this is me just putting everything that I can think of that might interest someone!

Gender/Preferences

So I tend to play more AFAB/feminine characters because I am nonbinary but I do have experience playing male presenting characters. I'm open to whatever gender you would like to play! Male, female, nonbinary, Trans, ect. Whatever you are comfortable with I'm down with!

Fandoms/Homemade plots

For fandom based plots I am a bit more picky especially if you are wanting to follow closely to the plot. I personally need to be confident in the show/movie/book unless you want to base the plot off of an idea from it, for example taking the idea of Camp Halfblood from the Percy Jackson series and building our own world around it.

As of pairings, I tend to do OCxOC or OCxCanon where we would play eachother's crushes. I usually avoid CanonXCanon.

Homemade

I have done way to many homemade roleplays to count so I have come to find I prefer certain genres.

Triggers/Warnings

Triggers and Warnings will be discussed prior to beginning the planning stages. These are very important to me in keeping not only my partner but myself safe and comfortable.

My personal triggers:

Explicit talk of r*pe (besides in a coming out way)

Warnings:

Warnings are anything that would be considered something that you would mention at the beginning of a piece that you think is important for your reader to know.

Any warnings I list below that I am comfortable with role-playing are 100% optional and if any conflict with your triggers they will be scrapped.

Writing Style

I don't give a set length I'm expecting a person to write to that's ridiculous. All I want is for the lengths of our messages to somewhat match to a reasonable extent. I.E. if I send a two paragraph message, I'm expecting more than a sentence. I've had to carry roleplays before and it's not the most enjoyable experience for me.

I am comfortable with writing in first or third perspective, whichever feels appropriate for the roleplay at hand. We just need to agree with one another on which one we will be using.

Character/World building

I'm very big on character and world building, especially with a homemade plot. As of characters, I want to be able to either see or visualize in my mind what they look like and how they're acting within the roleplay so I go into some pretty deep character building.

For world building, with Fandom based plots we simply need to agree if we will be following the plot of the show/movie/book or if we will be vering off on our own path.

Homemade plots I tend to delve deeper into. I want to create a well rounded world that we can shape and mold as we please. When a world and bland and flat, it can be hard to take it in the directions we want.

The Ragnarök Chronicles is a long term roleplay series set in a world of gods, men, and all those in between. Starting with “The Lost Torc”, the series begins with four powerful demigods who embark on a quest to retrieve a stolen ‘necklace’ before Midwinter, an ancient celebration that simultaneously marks the winter solstice, and the first day of Yule.

If they fail in their efforts to reclaim Freyja’s Torc before then, the war that’s been threatened for the past hundreds of years will at last be on their doorstep, and the fragile peace that’s held the realms together will finally shatter.

Now set between a rock and a hard place, these eclectic heroes shall learn what it means to be a champion for the gods and in time will learn the true price of heroism and understand the powers which become them. The Ragnarök Chronicles will show what happens to those who deem to mess with fate and why none of us can escape our destinies— no matter how hard we try.

mentions of dark themes will be brought up throughout this roleplay. if you find yourself sensitive to such subjects, please do not join. (ex. war/war crimes, blood, death/dead bodies/corpses, religious blasphemy, & mild misogyny. )

Rules

i. This is an advanced literate to novella level role-play. If you struggle to hit the word limit continuously, please do not bother applying. This roleplay is intended to be long term, so if you are a rather busy person or are frankly unreliable do not join either.

ii. If roleplaying on discord isn’t to your fancy then this is not the roleplay for you.

iii. Realistic and consistent face claim’s only. No celebrity’s.

iv. WIP’s are accepted, though I will not be accepting wikis without even a semblance of a template nor will I be accepting profile links. All wiki links must come from this amino.

v. No GODMODDING/OP’NESS/MARY-SUES allowed. Only the organizer will be capable of controlling other parties, both npc and oc alike, for purposes of moving the roleplay forward. Please do not control any one else’s characters without the host/other users permission.

vi. Do not wait for an interaction/for someone to interact with your OC. It is not an excuse for you to not write a response.

vii. Do not mini-mod/nor spam the chat.

viii. No 18+ & No discriminatory language.

ix. This roleplay is my interpretation of a Nordic Camp Halfblood, but no further knowledge of PJO or the Magnus Chase series is needed to apply for this roleplay. Having any prior knowledge of Norse mythology (while definitely helpful) is not needed!
