Ambrose St. James had his whole life ahead of him and it was a promising one. He had grown up a star student getting into a great college looking forward to a career as a doctor. His summers were free though so when his highschool sweetheart Mary Elizabeth suggested they take jobs together at a local summer camp they had gone to growing up he jumped on the chance. On a normal night they ran out of marshmallows and quickly sent Ambrose into town. While he was away a vampire came through massacring everyone counselor and camper alike.

Coming back to the blood bath he finds his beloved Mary Elizabeth dying and she tells a monster of a man had done this. After being cleared by police Ambrose was left traumatized and wanted to know more as the police found nothing assuming it was wild animals. Ambrose wouldn’t rest until he found the true killer using clues from the crime scene and rumors around town to hunt. The hunt became his obsession he didn’t return to college in the fall leaving behind his dreams with the sole purpose of finding the killer.

His search took 20 years before he finally found the killer when he went to finally confront the man who had ruined his life he was bested as the vampire was far older than he. Rather than kill Ambrose the cruel vampire turned him into a vampire locking him up alongside Clementine Tilden. The two conspired together working for years to overthrow the vampire holding them hostage. The two were bonded over their time spent locked up and worked together to start a coven that would later include Javier, Bo, Judas, Matias, and Lachlan

ooo what about after camp-counselor!lachy asks the reader out to late night drink by the dock later, he walks into the boys cabins hearing them talk about who they think is cute from the Fox Den Cabin. Maybe one of them asks Lachlan if he likes or thinks the reader is cute & kinda blushes when they ask him. (PS this au is something I never thought I needed LOL)

Omg it was literally right after he asked you to meet up later. He walks into Raven Oasis and hears Nolan asking out loud whether the rest of the boys thought the blonde girl was pretty in Fox Den. “Hey now, we aren’t here to flirt fellas.” Lachlan would laugh, going into through the doorway that separates his bed from the bunks. It’s still open, just a little more separation between him and the children. “But Lachlan, we’re getting old. We need to find girlfriends.” Hunter says, causing all the other boys to laugh. “I think Erin was really pretty.” Jacob says to himself, having the other boys agree that she was pretty. “And Gabriella was super nice. She gave me a piece of gum!” Hunter cheers, the other boys telling how their partners were throughout the canoe trip. “Okay you guys don’t need girlfriends, you’re too young.” Lachlan laughs after letting their conversation go on for a minute longer, knowing he isn’t supposed to encourage dating as part of his job. “Do you have a girlfriend, Lachlan?” Cole asks, peaking his head into Lachlan’s room. “Why are you asking me that?” Lachlan says, a blush on his face. “You just seemed to really like camp counselor (Y/N), if you had a girlfriend I don’t think she would be happy about it.” Cole shrugs, the other boys going “ooooo!” behind him. “I don’t have a girlfriend, and I was just being nice to her. You guys will get it when you’re older. Now c'mon, get ready for bed.” Lachlan blushes, ushering Cole out of his room. “Do you think she’s pretty!?” Nolan asks, ignoring Lachlan while the rest of the boys make a line to go walk to the showers. “I think she’s a nice girl. We need to take showers, we were outside all day. C'mon, let’s head out.” Lachlan changes the subject again, leading them to the bathroom hall of the campgrounds. After they all shower and reluctantly brush their teeth, Lachlan finally would get them into bed. “You have to promise to answer my last question before bed, okay Lachlan?” Hunter begs, sitting up in his bunk. “What’s up, buddy?” Lachlan asks. “Counselor (Y/N) is pretty, right?” He asks, making Lachlan sigh. “If you guys REALLY care that much, I think she’s a pretty girl. We’re not going to date or anything, now go to bed.” Lachlan blushes, turning the light off on them before heading back into his room. “He is totally into her.” He hears a hushed whisper, groaning as he lies in his bed. “Go to sleep!” He calls, making them all laugh. Time goes by and the boys fall into a deeper sleep, some of them even snoring by the time it’s 10 pm. Lachlan checks to make sure they’re all situated before looking at himself in camera of his phone, fixing his hair before grabbing a backpack and shoving some beer into it, rushing to the dock where you’re already seated. “Sorry I’m a little late.” He laughs nervously, sitting next to you with your legs over the dock. “No worries, I was gonna go head to Raven Oasis to make sure you didn’t forget about me.” You tease. “I’d never do that. I mean, I’d never forget about a commitment I made.” He says, quickly adding the second sentence in. “What did you sneak in anyways, anything good?” You ask him, referring to alcohol. “Just some Corona… I didn’t know what I could get away with.” He laughs, opening the backpack with a few bottles in it. “Coronas the only beer I can drink, this is perfect.” You thank you him as he hands you a bottle. “Yeah? It’s my favorite too.” He agrees, opening the bottle of his own. “So what was your first day at Camp Mystic like?” You ask him, looking up from the water and to his face. “It was good, nothing like across the lake really. Both are good in their own ways, just different.” He shrugs. “How long have you been around here?” He asks you. “Oh I’ve been coming since I was… God, I think seven? It’s my favorite place in the summer, I’m glad I’m finally a camp counselor.” You laugh. “I’ve been looking forward to being one since I was a little girl, my friend Jess and I have always dreamt of it and now we both are. She has Eagle Nest.” You tell him. “My friend Mitch came over here with me when we were told you were short on male counselors. He has Crocodile Burrow, which all the way across camp. I saw him once today, but he seems to be handling the adjustment well.” Lachlan says, taking a sip of his beer. “I’m sure he’s doing okay. Mystic isn’t that hard to get the hang of, it just takes a few days and then he should be fine.” You comfort him. “I’m hoping I get the hang of it. Those boys are all great kids, just wicked nosy and y'know, they act like boys.” He laughs. “You’ll be fine. I’ve had my fair share of bad counselors and I think I can tell you’re gonna make a great one. If you need anything, our cabins are across from each other. I’ll be with you all summer.” You tell him. “Although I might have to charge you in Corona for the really good tips.” You tease. “I think that’s a deal I’ll have to take you up on a few times.” He laughs. “We should be heading back.” He sighs, looking at the time on his phone. “Yeah, we wouldn’t want the kids finding us missing and reporting us on the first day of camp.” You agree, as he stands from the dock. “See you at breakfast tomorrow?” He asks you, reaching a hand out to help you stand. “Thank you, and sounds like a plan, Raven. Oh, some of my girls think your boys are little flirts. Try and keep them under control, I think some think they’re cute.” You laugh. “Hey, it’s not my boys! They were saying the same thing about your girls, so it’s you who needs to control your cabin better.” He scoffs, nudging you with his shoulder. “My girls are innocent! They’d never do such a thing.” You giggle, the sound ringing through Lachlan’s ears. “Well, this is my stop.” You sigh, standing in front of your cabin. “Thank you for helping me today. Hopefully I’ll get a clipboard tomorrow in the breakfast hall so I’m not completely useless.” Lachlan smiles at you. “It’s fine if you don’t, you aren’t useless. You jumped in the lake when the canoe tipped.” You laugh, recalling Lachlan jumping out of your canoe for the kids, forgetting they had lifejackets on. “I guess your right. But you were the queen of bracelets, I was useless then.” He compliments you back. “Alright, I won’t keep you any longer. Get some sleep, we have a busy day tomorrow.” He says, waving goodbye and listening to you tell him the same before he runs over to his cabin, sneaking in with a smile on his face, you doing the same across the dirt path.

Camp counselor!lachlan confused when there’s another counselor taking over the reader’s job for day. He finds that she’s sick and staying in the cabin for day, maybe checks in on her whenever he can

Awe he’d be really confused when his supervisor led Fox Den over to Raven Oasis this morning, and he couldn’t really hide his sadness when she told him that you were going to be unable to participate in camp activities for today. She told him that she’s going to get a replacement shortly, but for now, he should take the campers to get settled at the Ultimate Frisbee area. He obviously listens because well, it’s his supervisor, but the voice in his head can’t stop thinking about you and wondering if you’re okay. He cracks around lunch time, asking the temporary counselor named Willow if she can cover for him while he makes a quick stop to his cabin, not wanting to explain everything to her. She too easily agrees to it, but he doesn’t really pay it any mind, instead jogging off to find out what’s got you all cooped up. “(Y/N)? It’s Lachlan.” He knocks at your cabin door unsure on whether you’re even in there. “Yeah?” You sniffle behind the door, opening it a minute later with a blanket wrapped around your body, obvious signs of sickness taking over your face. You have bags under your eyes and a red nose, sniffling every once in awhile. “You’re sick?” He asks, almost relieved that that’s all that’s wrong with you. “Yeah, I’d say so.” You would try to laugh, but a sneeze interrupts that for you. “I called Linda when I woke up this morning, I feel like complete shit. I hope the girls are treating you well, sorry I can’t be there.” You apologize to him, feeling guilty that he’s left alone for the day with all the campers. “Nonsense, you’d do the same if I were sick. Just get better for me love, okay? And don’t worry about the girls, they’re always great.” He smiles, pulling you in for a hug and resisting the urge to kiss you. “You’ve got to head back, I feel bad for the temp that must be alone right now.” You laugh, pushing him off you. “Plus, I don’t wanna get you sick.” “I don’t care if I get sick, but I guess I do care about the campers. Take care of yourself for me, okay? I’ll come check in again at dinner time.” He promises before unwillingly walking off, though he knows he can’t really help you recover, he doesn’t want you to be all cooped up today alone. He makes good on his promise, stopping in to see you at dinner and he even brings you some food he snuck out of the cafeteria

Camp counselor!lachy and the reader after a long first day. Their cabins are partnered together and they’ve making sure everyone is okay and situated. Maybe after everyone is in bed lachy shows up at the reader’s cabin w/ a bottle of alcohol he’s snuck in and they go sit by the lake to get to know each other??

You obviously have a female cabin, and Lachlan has a male cabin. The kids are all around 8-10 years old, and to be camp counselors, you have to be 18. You were assigned to Fox Den Cabin, full of spunky and very lively little girls. The camp tries to integrate boys and girls, though they don’t allow them to be in cabins alone together, they do assign a male and female cabin to complete daily activities together throughout the course of camp. Your cabin has been assigned to be partnered with Raven Oasis Cabin. You’ve never met the camp counselor, being a boy who was transferred from the camp across the lake, but by the looks of his fit body and blonde hair, you think it could’ve been worse. You have your six girls line up, going to wait by the flag pole where you’re supposed to meet your partnered cabin. “You must be (Y/N)?” The man asks, walking over with six adorable boys behind him. “That’s me! Sorry, I don’t know your name.” You laugh nervously. “No worries, I’m Lachlan.” He smiles, reaching out to shake your hand. “So Fox Den, what’s on the agenda for today?” He adds. “According to our schedule, we’re up for canoes today before lunch, and then breaded bracelets afterwards. Then as we do every year, we have bonfire tonight. Did they give you a clipboard?” You question, noticing he only has a backpack. “No, I guess they forgot about mine. Looks like we’ll have to share for today, sorry.” He smiles. “It’ll be fine. Is your bunch ready to head out?” You ask, your girls getting antsy behind you. “I think so, right fellas?” Lachlan says, looking away from you for the first time and looking at his group. After his group says their ready, and your girls agree that they are too, you and Lachlan begin leading them together towards the lake. “Since this is Lachlan’s first time at the camp, I’ll run through with all of you kiddos on what our summer’s gonna look like. The 12 of you here are going to get to know each other all summer long. You’ll see the others cabins too, but Fox Den and Raven Oasis are partnered this summer. That means we’ll sit together during meal times and do the daily activities together so we all will get to know each other really well. For bonfire nights, you’ll see everyone else who is at Camp Mystic. Today’s schedule starts off with canoeing! Lachlan, do you want to start partnering them up? A boy and a girl per canoe. Here’s a list of my girl’s, since you don’t have a clipboard yet.” You tell the campers, handing the clipboard to Lachlan. “Okay, well… How about Gabriella, you can be partnered with Hunter at canoe 1. Amelia and Gabriel can be partners for Canoe 2, Lindsay and Peter at Canoe 3, Erin and Jacob for Canoe 4, Vivian and Coleplease take Canoe 5, and Beatrice can be with Nolan for Canoe 6. All of you go get a lifejacket and meet your partner by your assigned canoe, please!” He smiles at the kids, all of them running towards the lifejacket racks.”We don’t stay onshore, right? I’m hoping to go out on the water.” He beams at you once the kids are out of earshot. “We take out Canoe 7 incase they need saving, don’t worry.” You laugh, appreciating the genuine eagerness he has as a camp counselor. As soon as you and Lachlan go through canoeing basics with the group of 8-10 year olds, you help each of them get into the canoes with their partner and give them the push into the water. You two get in your canoe and follow join them in the water, keeping eyes out for the six groups of kids around you. After awhile on the water, and Canoe 4 tipping over twice, you two have gotten the group back on land. “That’s a wrap on canoes for today, time for lunch break!” You smile at the group, Vivian running up to you and begging you to give her a piggy back ride to the cafeteria. “As much as I’d love to, I can’t Viv. I’m not strong enough.” You pout as you all are walking to the cafeteria. “I can give you one though! If it’s okay with (Y/N), of course. She’s the boss.” Lachlan offers with a smile. “Thank you, Lachlan. that’s really kind of you.” You affirm, in awe of the excitement Vivian has over this. You all make your way back to the cafeteria, sitting together and going in line in small groups to get food. Lunch ends soon enough, and then you go about the beaded bracelets your cabins are supposed to make together. This is basically a shit show, you having to make almost all of the boys a bracelet besides a few who manage to make something. It’s funny because Lachlan’s is arguably the worst. “Bracelet making isn’t your forte?” You laugh, helping him move his fingers in the way to make the correct knot. ���Not gonna lie, I was never good at this across the lake.” He laughs, thanking you when you show him the correct way. “Anytime.” You beam back. After you finish and go back to the cafe for dinner, and then go to the center of camp for the first official bonfire, it’s time to report to your cabins for lights out for the children. “Hey (Y/N), can we talk for a second?” Lachlan asks you right as your group of girls enter Fox Den, his group heading across the dirt road to Raven Oasis. “Sure, what’s up?” You ask, assuming it’s a question he has about camp. “I-I don’t really know how to ask this, and please don’t report me, but it’s been a long day and I really think we should get to know each other better without the campers around. I snuck some booze in, I was wondering if you want to have a drink at the lake tonight?” He asks, nervously running his hand through his hair. “Sure thing, Lachlan. Don’t worry, I’ve been sneaking alcohol in for years.” You laugh at his state, moreso whispering your confession. “So we’ll meet at the dock? Say… 10pm?” He suggests. “Of course, but you’re providing the alcohol. I gotta get my girls in bed, I want to make sure they’re fast asleep before I leave them. See you later!” You promise, running into your cabin as Gabriella begins to peak out to see what’s keeping you. They ask you immediately what camp counselor Lachlan wanted, and whether you think you have a crush on him or not, which you deny, though you think in your head he is a damn good looking guy to be partnered with all summer. PART TWO TOMORROW MAYBE??? WHERE YOU DRINK ON THE DOCK???

you see camp counselor!lachy shirtless while he’s teaching some kids how to use a canoe and you’re staring at him (mainly his abs 😂) and some of your campers catch you

So it was a super hot day out, and luckily your group was on canoes again. It’s like, a month into the camp, and you and Lachlan have admitted your feelings for each other and decided to be official by now. You haven’t told your twelve little minions, because though you don’t think your boss would care, you don’t want her finding out this way. So on this day in particular, you’re doing canoes. You have a bikini on, nothing too revealing of course because you’re working with kids after all. Lachlan has a pair of swim trunks on, opting to be shirtless in the summer heat. He’s gotten three sets of the kids on canoe training already, something you’re forced to give each time you take them out on the water. You have the other three duos with you further up the shore, getting lifejackets buckled and buddies finalized as you wait for Lachlan to get the rest of them in the water. “Counselor (Y/N), why do you and Lachlan get to wear normal bathing suits but we have to wear full suits with lifejackets?” A little boy named Cole asks, itching at the swim shirt covering his skin. “It’s because Lachlan and I are old enough to make our own decisions, bud. Your parents chose to sign papers saying you have to wear that, but I’m an adult. It’s still just as fun when you’re on the water though, yeah?” You say with a smile, ruffling the little boys hair before looking back to Lachlan, who catches you looking and waves you guys over with a smile. “C’mon, he’s ready for us now.” You tell the six kids, leading them over to the canoes that aren’t in the water yet. Lachlan opts to get two of the canoes set, leaving you with just one set of kids to get in place as they listen to Lachlan’s rambling about canoe safety. You get bored pretty quickly, having head this talk hundreds of times in your history at the camp, so you opt to admiring your boyfriend in his shirtless glory. His swim trunks rest just at his hip, leaving his v-line showing and even a fractional part of his happy trail. Moving your eyes a little higher, you’re met with his abs, defined just enough that you don’t want to look away. “Counselor (Y/N), why are you looking at Lachlan’s abs?” Cole asks, giggling with his partner Vivian as he watches you. “What!? I was not, now pay attention, you need to know what to do when you’re out on the water.” You blush, looking away. As soon as Lachlan finishes, you two push the three sets into the water, hopping into a canoe of your own to join all the kiddos. “So… You were ignoring my canoe safety speech to check me out?” Lachlan laughs once the kids aren’t in hearing distance. “Of course I was. That was so boring, but your v-line made up for it.” You tell him, poking his back from your seat behind him. “Hey now, we’re out on a lake surrounded by children. I don’t think this is the best place to start something.” Lachlan laughs, briefly looking at you before returning his gaze to the canoes moving by. “I guess you’re right.” You sigh. “Meet at the dock tonight? We can go as far as we want then.” He offers, which you immediately agree to before Nolan calls out to you guys that he got their canoe stuck

At the camp they have a day for a set of counselors to have a day off, doing what ever they want w/ no campers. Camp counselor!Lachy plans a picnic date for him and the reader by the dock 💙

So it’s the camp counselor ‘skip’ day, which is really just one day a month where counselors have the day to themselves. Usually most of them go out together as a group, which you and Lachlan did in June, but for July, Lachlan asks you to just hang out with him (which you obviously agree to, seeing as he’s officially your boyfriend and you want to spend a lot of time with him). He picks you up from your cabin with a bundle of dandelions in hand, shyly telling you it’s all he could find around the area. You smile at him, taking them in your hands and telling him you love them. “Ready to go?” You’d ask, placing the flowers gently on your bed and reaching for his hand as you leave the cabin. “Of course, I have a great surprise planned for you.” He laughs, grabbing your hand and leading you away from the cabin, down one of the trails surrounding camp. He brings you the long way to the dock you guys have claimed as your spot. “Why’d we take the long way?” You laugh, smiling at him. “Well, I needed to give Mitch and Jess time to finish putting this together. Look, I snuck into the kitchen and begged the chef to give me some fruit for a picnic, and I packed my last bottles of corona, AND I even begged Mitch for a chocolate bar he snuck in for us to split for a dessert. Aren’t I the best boyfriend ever?” He asks, genuine smile on his face as he walks you over to a little flannel blanket, a picnic basket placed on top of it. “You really, really are. Thank you, Lachlan.” You say, pressing a kiss to his cheek before sitting on the blanket. “I try just for you. Here, I know you like fruits and stuff, so I got watermelon, cantaloupe, and I even got strawberries, I know they’re your favorite.” He says, proud of himself as he pulls each out of the basket. “You really went all out for this picnic, huh?” You laugh, instantly going for the strawberries. “Well this is basically our first real date! I know it’s not like, the best, but it’s the best we can have while we’re here. When summers over, I’ll bring you to that coffee shop you were telling me about. Until then, I need to impress you like this.” He smiles, handing you a beer before he grabs a watermelon slice. “You don’t need to impress me, I know everything I need to be able to confidently say I’m in love with you. You’re good with kids, you like the outdoors, you like Pokemon, and your favorite beer is Corona. An added bonus is that you look really super amazingly good with your shirt off.” You tease, throwing the top of a strawberry at him. “Hey! That was a nice compliment until you decided to attack me. I almost even took my shirt off for you.” He huffs, throwing the strawberry back at you. “No, please do that! It’ll make this the best date I’ve ever been on, seeing your abs.” You sigh dramatically. “If you want my shirt off, you’ll have to do it yourself now.” He laughs, stealing a strawberry from your container. “You think that’ll stop me? You watch.” You scoff, crawling over to him, straddling his lap as you slowly grab the end of his shirt, dragging it over his head. “Much better.” You giggle, placing a kiss to his lips before trying to get off his lap, but his arms wrap around you. “Now I’ve got you trapped! This is perfect, right where I want you.” He sighs, peppering kisses along your neck. “Let go of me, Lachlan!” You laugh, swatting his arms away from you, not getting him to let go. “What, you don’t wanna cuddle?” He questions, tightening his grip for a second before altogether letting go. “Fine, you can go.” He huffs. “I’m kidding, I don’t want to go.” You sigh, turning to press another kiss onto his lips. “Good, because I don’t want you to.” He smiles, looking at you for a second before playfully tackling you against the blanket, pressing a kiss to your jaw as you laugh at him. “You’re crazy.” You laugh, arms wrapping around him to hold him close to you. “You love crazy, though.” He teases, kissing his way up to your lips

Issue

Hi guys!  I need some help really quick... I got to the very beginning of my AU blurbs (51 pages into my account) and I ran into an issue when trying to make the masterlist for my blurbs. It doesn’t seem like they’re individual posts with a link I can add into a masterlist, so I’m not really sure how else I could do it. I do know everything on my blog DOES have tags, though, could somebody let me know if they search like, #football!Lachlan if they can see every football!Lachlan post? Same goes for stoner!lachlan, fuckboy!lachlan, hockey!lachlan, and camp counselor!Lachlan. I want to see if at least my tags are working

how would the different au’s tell the reader he loves her?

Idk if we’ve fully talked about this before! 

For Stoner!Lachlan, I wrote a blurb around the song ‘Too High’ and in that blurb there’s the small scene where they confessed their love. It was a very little thing, happening after watching the movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ together and Lachlan was caught up in how adorable the reader was, and he kinda just said it in a teasing conversation while she was getting up to get changed. I just reblogged it for yah!

For Fuckboy!Lachlan I have a whole imagine where he confesses his love and it’s on my masterlist titled “I fell in love with you, not them.” It happened while you two were technically on a break, and he showed up to your house after leaving a party to come and tell you he’s realized it’s you, he doesn’t want to be single and fuck with emotions anymore. I’ll reblog this too :)

Football!Lachlan I don’t think we’ve talked about? Anyways if we have then I don’t remember it, sorry babes. So I’m gonna think of something rn, and my brain is rushing to maybe it’s after the state championship game. You successfully convinced the coach to let you sneak onto the boys bus, and you’re using Lachlan’s shoulder as a pillow with his varsity jacket placed over your shoulders since it’s chilly, and he’s resting his head on top of yours since he’s sleepy too. He’d probably just murmur it when he thinks you’re asleep, placing a lazy kiss on top of your head and almost having a heart attack when you mumble it back to him tiredly.

Hockey!Lachlan I’m like fairly certain we’ve never talked about on this matter. It’d probably be during a fight. I can picture him being very emotional during fights, so he’d probably slip it out during a fight because he needs you to know that regardless of what you’re currently disagreeing on, he really does have feelings for you. And deep ones at that.

Finally we’re at camp counselor!Lachlan. I’m trying to think of the best way he’d do it, and I really think honestly it wasn’t him that told you. He would probably mention something to the boys in his cabin about it (maybe after a few too many beers on the dock with you) and they’re instantly telling you the very next day, which causes Lachlan to blush like a madman. You don’t say anything to him right then, not wanting your little campers to be TOO suspicious, but you make sure that he knows it’s reciprocated as soon as you get the chance.

I just wanted to say I FINALLY got the ask about Sawyer sneaking out and I intend in writing it tomorrow!

MAYBE we could add a new AU to our mix? Camp counselor!Lachlan has been on my mind. Like you’re both volunteering and his cabin and your cabin are always partnered together and you two get to know each other all summer and obviously sneak out at night to make out at the lake and stuff ;)
