Chief Librarian, Heralds of the Chalice Chapter

I got a bad cold earlier this week, so I basically had to stay home and write all the research papers I was behind on. The good thing was I got to work on a bunch of minis, and try new stuff with them, like the camoline transition effect on Juriel's cloak.

It came out a bit rough, and the whole mini is a bit darker in colors, but I'm happy how it fits thematically.

The idea behind the Librarians in the Heralds is that they're, as psychers, inherently connected to the warp, and since the presance of the warp makes the chapter exhibit black rage like symptoms, the Librarius is held prisoner in a tower in the fortress monastary. They often are left to be treated as secondary in all regards, despite Juriel holding one of the three core seats in the Chapter's council.

To make matters worse, the librarians are not imune to the chapters curse, and tend to fall to the rage more often due to their warp connection.

Baelaius Vex, the chapter champion, is currently the caretaker of the Librarians, as he feels no pull of the black rage nor red thirst, despite being a Son of Sanguinius.

Baelaius and Juriel have grown close since Baelaius's appointment as caretaker, and Baelaius wears the same chains as the Librarians, despite having no connection to the warp, as a show of solidarity to his, often mistreated, brothers.

The minute the letter appeared inside the little blank box, the child is quick to retrieve the piece of pink tinted paper.

I see a little klamille stirring up, but that might be short lived with Klefan and I aint mad at it. I also wonder if that’ll mean some camoline, which i would stan the fuck out of. other than that most of the ships are pretty set in stone, married couples, people who have been on the verge for a while now. give me more fluffy shit. I would like to see more of Josie and Penelope.

The client I have chosen for my Desktop Publishing Logo Assignment is Cois na hAbhann, a Garden, Home and Lifestyle Centre in Camolin, Co. Wexford. It was founded in 2007 and has about 14 members of staff.

Ireland is a destination that has long been in our sights, but we’ve just never got around to it.   This was reinforced when I experienced a brief taste while working in County Wexford a couple of years back.

The final decision was made after a flying visit from my Czech friend Joe, who had just spent six weeks touring Ireland and Scotland in his camper van.   On his way home he stopped off for a cuppa, and we hatched a plan for him and his wife to fly over this year for a tour of the Scottish highlands, with me offering to be the chauffeur for the week.   However, we soon found that suitably priced accommodation was hard to find along our planned route – a rethink was obviously required.

Our Irish tour was hatched in December.   We picked a date in May, Joe booked his flights to Dublin and we booked a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin.

I then spent most of the winter months trying to work out a route.  Joe had a couple of places on his visit wish list.   I had a couple of my own to add to it.  Between us we formulated a round trip from Dublin, taking in as many sights as possible.

I booked various places to stay on booking.com, and using the free cancellation, we tweaked and re-tweaked our route until we agreed on a final itinerary.

While Joe knew the Ireland well after many tours in his van over the last few years, I only had my brief experience of Wexford and the surrounding area to go by. Were we in for a surprise!

Our tour began with the drive up to Holyhead, about 3 1/2 hours plus a 30 minute stop at the Stockport McDonalds for breakfast.

A very smooth crossing with Stenaline had us quickly disembarking in the port of Dublin right on time at 5 pm, just in time for the quick drive  to the airport, where Joe and his wife Renata had just landed.

Cases in the boot, introductions made (Sue had not met Renata before), we set off for our first stop in Camolin, an easy drive down the M50.

Note:  If you are intending on Irish motorways, remember some of them have tolls, so don’t forget to register online with eflow to pay them.   It is so easy and takes all the worry out of paying.

Next thing to remember is, DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO THE SAT NAV!

Despite seeing the sign for the M50, I foolishly followed the satnav and ended up driving straight through the city centre.  Not a pleasant drive (although our guests enjoyed the impromptu city tour!).

This added a good half hour to our drive, but fortunately the owner of our first B&B was very accommodating, and even called to check where we were.

Arriving at the “Kilbora” bed and breakfast in Camolin, Anne Marie wasted no time giving us a whirlwind tour of the rooms and our keys, before pointing us towards the “Courtyard” restaurant in the village of Fern, so that we could get dinner before they stopped serving.

And what a wonderful first meal it was!   Fed and watered, we headed back to the B&B for a well earned rest before day two of our tour…

I've never really used them properly on a blog before, but I've been saving up potential ship tags for a while. I'm going to post a bunch of them, and if anybody likes the look of one (or more) please let me know ^-^

Once one is claimed I'll edit this post so everybody knows it's no longer available.

Basically anybody I've even vaguely discussed a ship with can claim a tag. If we haven't written that ship yet, it's fine. If we never wind up writing that ship, or we try it and they don't work out, it's still fine, so don't worry about a ship not being 'established' enough to warrant a tag ^-^

Honestly had they incorporated Caroline they could have easily helped cami's popularity by association. Caroline would have been a college student and…oh wow so was Cami. Bam friends! And then through Cami Caroline could have worked at the same bar and been incorporated with the others there. See! Caroline easily could have stood without Klaus.

In theory I agree with you, however it’s also clear that Cami was a very literal Caroline replacement so I don’t know how the writers would have worked around that.
