If anyone wants me to put this under “Read More”, then I will. 

So apparently, there was a shooting in the parking lot at CalSkate in my hometown on New Year’s Eve that involved a security officer. So far, there’s an open investigation about this, meaning the skating rink will be closed until further notice and that the people that work at CalSkate are currently working with the police department at San Bernardino in this investigation.

I do not have Facebook nor do I plan on it, but there is concern about this story. First off, the skating rink in question had a 7 pm to 7 am party for New Year’s and was catered to all ages. Second off, the officer was the one that got shot. It’s unknown at this point how many people did get shot or how many suspects are there. But all we know right now that we are waiting for future information about this

On Facebook, however, some people are sending prayers to the officer that was shot and his family as well, along with anyone else that was injured or involved. Others are opening concern for others that might have been injured as well, and one person has hoped that the shooter isn’t a local, but again, we’ll have to wait for new information.
