OK so while I know you’re a ‘2022 wedding, 2023 Caribbean honeymoon’ truther, I have a new secret wedding delulu if you’ll indulge me…
It’s not a perfect theory because I’m not sure they’d squeeze it in like this… but there was about a week between Indian Wells and the first Challengers premiere where we all assumed the besties had gotten away for some down time. What if they got hitched then? Just the legal bit, with the big wedding still coming up.
They were in California, so the license could be confidential, and it fits with a couple of other randos who’ve been implying they’d done it in private – that notary public person who spilled in April-May, someone else in Cali on Twitter who posted that they got married ‘a few months ago’ and that person on Reddit who I don’t really believe but who said ‘earlier this year’.
(This also fits with my own personal theory that Tom wouldn’t get married with his current short hair).
The only thing is she left for Australia literally a few days later – but if it was just the paperwork that’d make more sense.
You know what. Why not.
I still think the Caribbean makes sense as a honeymoon so I’m sticking to 2022 but I like a well thought out theory.
I’m also going to say I’m not one to believe they wouldn’t elope because of “their families” so truly any time they’re together in CA has been an option in my mind
