Caliente l Round 1 l Pleasantview

The first round was meant to find the girls so respective partners but it didn't go as planned. Nina had 3 bolts with Antonio Monty but whenever she would get the chance to charm him he would poke her. He's not even a mean sim so I guess he's just not ready to move on from Hero.

Dina was pregnant with Don's baby (During his round) and she gave birth to little Aarón. Nina was none the wiser as she just thought he was either Mortimer's or a one night stand. However it wouldn't be long before Dina and Don were brazen enough to do it while Nina was down stairs. At the end of the round Nina realised that Aarón may be Don's.

Dina: "Brandi! So good to see you! And looking fine! Come here. We're so going out!"

Brandi: "This is where Skip took me on our first date... He couldn't afford a ring when he wanted to propose, so he stole the blue flamingo."

Dina: "That's... cute. Hey! Are you tipsy enough for karaoke?"

Dina: "That was so fun!"

Brandi: "I sounded like I dying cat."

Dina: "Don't you dare. We were both fabulous!"

Brandi: "Thanks for this. I love my boys, but mama needs to let loose sometimes."

Dina: "Anytime you need to let off some steam, I'm your gal!"

Aw, Dina paid Ajay a really generous tip! That's kind of her.

"I hear the Watcher smiles upon a charitable soul?"

It's now time to move on to the Caliente household! Things have not been ideal between Nina and Dina since Nina caught her sister smoochin' on Don. Though, Dina does try to reassure her sister that her true sights are set on Mortimer Goth, not Don Lothario.

Nina Caliente has been enjoying her life away from her sister. She spent lots of time on her bike, visited a club once ( probably only enjoyed it because she was by herself there at 11am), and spent lots of time with her cat Tuna.

As Nina left the building, she almost cursed herself. Mortimer Goth was walking down the road. She pretended she didn't see him, but Mortimer was no fool.

Mortimer: Ah, Nina, paying your neighbor a visit? Nina: Uhm, yeah, Don... Don asked me to help him with the decorations for tomorrow. You know, men. Oh, excuse me, you are one yourself. Mortimer: Well, are you on your way home now? Nina: Yes, I could use a shower after all this decorating. Mortimer: But don't you live right next to Don, on the other side?

Don had overheard the conversation through an open window and hurried outside.

Don: Mortimer! What a nice surprise! Can I help you? Mortimer: Oh, I just wanted to see how the wedding preparations are going. Cassandra said you were really busy when I asked her why you didn't come over the last weeks. Don: Yes, work has been crazy. I also wanted to give Cassandra some room. I know she's going through a hard time currently. Mortimer: I don't know what you're talking about. Can I see the decorations then?

SUMMARY

Nina took a job in the Slacker career, and got promoted to Convenience Store Clerk.

Dina took a job in the Law career, and got promoted to Law Clerk.

Nina went on a Dream Date with Don

Round ended with Nina pregnant again.

Alexander: "Good afternoon, Aunt Dina. Would you be willing to discuss a family matter with me?"

Dina: "Uh... okay. Come on in!"

Dina: "So, what's this about?"

Alexander: "I have considered my stance on this, and I cannot remain silent. I am here to request you break up with my father. This relationship is wrong. You are not... my mother is missing, not dead."

Dina: "That's true, but it has been a bit since she went missing. At this point, your father is free to move on, and that's what he's doing. He's happy with me. I understand it all makes you uncomfortable. If life were fair, your mother would be in that house with you, and your Uncle Michael and I would be having our first child... I know what it's like to lose someone way too soon, Alex, and I'm sorry that you're hurting. I still hurt, too. The relationship I have now with your father... that's part of healing. So, no, I won't break up with him."

Dina: "That doesn't mean I don't want to make things better for you, too. Maybe we could go on an outing together, all three of us? Or maybe Don and Cassandra could join, too? None of us want you to be sad. We're a big, happy, growing family!"

Alexander: "I do not think that will benefit me. I appreciate your candor. I need to take my leave, as the hour grows late."

Nina is not too pleased to find out she won't have the condo to herself for very long. She's pregnant and unfortunately for Don, he's the only Sim she's been with. He's not too happy about it either, but will he do the gentlemanly thing and try to marry and raise the child with Nina? Or will he cling to his bachelor lifestyle, forking over child support instead? And as for Nina, how will this impact her desire to get around? We'll have to find out in the next round!
