An Update

Hi friends 👋🏾

Wow, it's been a while.

First off, I'd like to start off by saying that I hope each and every one of you are doing well! Thank you all for every comment, message, and kudos that I've received in the past few months. None of them have gone unnoticed. It's heartwarming to know that you all are still thinking about my work or finding it despite the lack of updates.

That being said, I'd like to apologize for how long it's taken for you all to receive an update! Back in March, I posted a plan of a tentative fanfic posting schedule. I had high hopes of being able to achieve that goal—work was smooth, I was caught up in classes, and nothing could stop me from spending time writing and relaxing.

(Yeah. I was wrong)

Work got hella busy. Life happened. I got engaged and wedding planning happened. College courses got demanding. I singlehandedly uprooted my new little family's life and moved all the way from the States to Germany for a new job.

You can say that 2024 has been an...interesting year for me. I'm thankful for every blessing that's come my way, but boy, there has been some serious hurdles along the way. I'm thankful that I've been able to overcome each and every one of them, though. I can't say that things are calming down just yet (I'm afraid to). But, I will say that classes are coming to a close this week. I'm still settling into being in a new country. I should (🤫) have a decent amount of free time available to me after this week's end. I'm hoping to be able to finish out the chapter updates that I'd started and post them by the new year. Again, thank you all for your patience while I get through all of these changes. I truly appreciate each and every one of you that's stuck around. I miss writing and sharing my stories with you all, and I hope to get back to it soon!

An Update

Hi friends! I hope everyone is doing well. I'd like to say thanks for all of the love and messages I've received over the last few months! I haven't been great at responding, but know that I've read every one of them and that they really keep me in high spirits about continuing my works.

I’ve gotten quite a few questions about whether or not my fics are currently on hiatus or not, and just wanted to clear things up and say that no, none of my fics are on hiatus. Most of these comments have been through my fics, so I've given my reasoning for my absence individually to readers. But, I realized that I should probably post something on my actual social account for others to see lol. Being that this is the only account that I have linked to anything fic related (I have no discord, instagram, twitter, etc), I figured the best thing to do is to put it here.

I've recently gone back to school for my graduates degree, and truthfully have just had a hard time trying to get back in the swing of things (haven't done the school thing since 2017/18). I had some trial and error of starting and then switching schools last year, but I think I'm finally on good ground balancing work and school. I'm starting to get a better rhythm now, and have some free time to write more. I have written a little here and there, but am currently trying to get back into the groove with writing so that I can give you guys an update!

That said, I'd like to provide you all with a tentative schedule for my upcoming posting plans:

Stitch Me Back Together chapter 29 is my highest priority right now. I honestly didn't even realize that I'd left this story sitting since last August, and I sincerely apologize for that!

Playing with Fire chapter 11 will follow

Caldera: The City of Ghosts chapter 19 will be updated last

I am hoping to have updates done no later than the end of April, early May by the latest. After that, I will be dedicating the month of May-early June (depending on meeting the first deadline) to updating Stitch Me as much as I can. July-August (depending) will be dedicated to Playing with Fire updates to hopefully finish it out. City of Ghosts will be updated in between these, as I don't want to leave it hanging. In the event that I don't meet these deadlines, the updates are still coming. Please just assume that I have either been caught up in work or school and wish me a nice long nap to recover 😅.

If you see a random oneshot between any of these fics being updated...no you didn't (But I do have one from November if you haven't gotten a chance to read it 👀). If you haven't read some of the fics listed and want to start, or you're interested in any other oneshots I've written, you can always visit my ao3 here 🫡.

I hope this answers some questions that some of you may have had. Thank you all for waiting patiently for me, as well as all of the nice and thoughtful messages I've received in the last few months!

Hello friends! Just wanted to pop in with a brief update about my fics and life in general.

I am currently working on updates for all three of my WIPs, however, my writing process has slowed drastically due to real life. In the past few months, I’ve had to deal with family deaths, catching ‘The Ick’, the residual brain fog from said Ick, and a slew of other too-much-to-keep-up-with life changes that have hit my partner and I left and right. All of that combined has taken a huge toll on my mental, and I am still trying to get back into a good head space.

I’m definitely trying my best to update as quickly as possible, especially being that I love writing for you guys and this fandom. It’s a good stress reliever for me, and I really miss being able to sit down and let my words flow. I just ask that you all have patience and send some positive energy my way. It would be much appreciated 🤞🏾

For those of you waiting for updates for Playing With Fire, please be on the lookout. I plan to have something for you all within the next week.

Summary: The sight of his sharp jawline and high cheekbones, of the way that his plump lips tilt teasingly towards her is more than a little bit pleasant. Seeing it in the flesh, despite knowing that his form in the Veil will never compare to the real thing, is enough to make her hands itch with the desire to touch him. La, not to mention those eyes. It takes most of her effort not to think about how golden his eyes look behind the Veil, and how much she wonders whether or not they burned like embers during his time living.

Katara will never admit it out loud, but Zuko is, without a doubt, the most attractive man she’s ever laid her eyes upon.

Hello everyone! Just another quick update: I’ve uploaded chapter four of Playing With Fire, but just a warning that updates for the rest of my fics will most likely come some time in September. I’m still in the process of getting my health back together, and hopefully will be back to full health by then! 🤞🏾
