Fallout Equestria ch.44

This part breaks my heart.

One last time before the end, Pip and company gather to plan, to remember and to say goodbye. I wanted to make sure I added Paladin Strawberry Lemonade and Amber Waves, two characters that pass on, fighting the good fight without ever asking why. From left to right, Paladin Strawberry Lemonade, Gawdyna Grimfeathers, LifeBloom, Spike, Xenith, Ditzy Doo, Velvet Remedy, LittlePip, Amber Waves, Calamity.

I didn’t draw a ton of explosions up until now, and never the sky bandit from this angle, so I’m glad I got one final shot in.

Fallout Equestria Ch.37 Ministry walk, the Castle, the pink cloud, and a last shot with all of our heroes together. We had several ideas for this chapter since it was so long, a few of which I’d love to re-draw someday.

Probably one of my absolute favorite in terms of how it came out. I teased the hellhound in a previous drawing, and the hard lighting came out just how i wanted it.

The Bank job. i love this one, this has to be one of my favorite Littlepip expressions. One of those times where looking back at it, it came out just the way i wanted it too.

And a detail that probably got lost in the book due to the smaller size, yes, calamity has little stars in his eyes for his new shinny gun.

Storytelling with Watcher/Spike. It was a challenge to get the big guy in the shot, but I think this works. plus it was kind nice to have a chance to draw another moment of calm.

for those that got the book, see if you can spot steel-hooves at the cave entrance. I think the printed version shrunk to much for him to show up.

@asksweetcream found a few good sites that do acrylic charms now as well, and I’m wondering if they would work for that/if folks would want them.

I’ve seen a few ideas about this chapter, but i like the idea of doing after the crash of the wagon, makes the situation feel a little more dire. though I did sketch out calamity falling from the roof or the building exploration, this one won out in the end, partially cause’ i could get all three of them in the frame at the same time.

Also, I love the fact that Littlepip, magically burn-out from her “train ride” has to shoot/reload without magic. makes her look all bad-ass.
