Name: Rowan! This is not my given name, but after a lot of contemplation, Rowan Cloudburst is the name that feels right t to use in context of witchcraft. I feel that Cloudburst is permanent and will stay with me for my whole life, while Rowan may change at some point over the years.
Gender: Female
Height: 5′3″
Middle Name: My given middle name is Caley! Though on most of my childhood medical records they spelled it Caket.  I’m not kidding.  This went on for years.
Star sign: I’ve never actually looked this up before! Let’s find out together!
Sun: Aquarius
Moon: Aquarius
Ascendant/Descendant: Cancer/Capricorn
Midheaven: Pisces

What’s a sound you hate? Love?
Hate: Whistling
Love: Thunderstorms
Do you believe in ghosts? What about aliens?
I believe in ghosts because I want to, because I think a world with ghosts is more interesting and beautiful to me than a world without them. I “believe” in aliens because I think it’s incredibly unlikely that we are the only life in the vast universe–it probably won’t look like the movies, and it likely won’t look like life on Earth, but there has to be something out there.
Do you drive? If so, have you ever crashed?
Yes, I do. I was in very small accident a few weeks ago. Just a scrape, luckily.
What was the last book you read?
If you mean very literally, that would be the one I grabbed the quote from. But if you mean actually read in its entirety, I think Cordelia’s Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold.
Do you like the smell of gasoline?
Not really.
What was the last movie you saw?
I saw Geostorm yesterday. Don’t judge me it was free. Also, I enjoyed it. There’s something very therapeutic about watching catastrophic CGI weather events destroy things.
What’s the worst injury you’ve ever had?
I almost got struck by lightning once, and there was this huge feeling of pressure that hit me like a brick wall so that I couldn’t breathe for several seconds–like the air was being sucked out of my lungs. I had chest pains for weeks after that. Eventually, it faded away on it’s own, though sometimes it comes back really faintly when I’m falling asleep.
Do you have any obsessions right now?
I just finished watching Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. I need more. I’m also slowly nurturing a small, growing obsession with charcoal incense burners and small cauldrons. I like to re-purpose things, and there are a lot of beautiful pieces on auction sites and at estate sales that work wonderfully as ornate cauldrons and burners. It’s really difficult not to spend money!
Do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?
Yes. And sometimes for pettier things.  It’s not one of my finer qualities.  I’m working on it.
In a relationship?
I am.
