Caifanes or Caiphanes is a Mexican Goth Post-Punk Rock band formed in 1987, considered by critics as one of the most innovative and influential acts in Latin American rock during the 20th century.

They emerged from the Mexican underground scene to later jump to the general public with the support of the dissemination campaign called "Rock en tu Idioma" at the end of the eighties. In this tenor, two of their songs ("Antes que nos olviden” and “Será por eso”) are considered among the 100 best (musically) of Mexican rock.

Their most famous songs are "La Célula que explota", "Nubes" and "Afuera".

Soda Stereo is an Argentine Rock Band formed in 1982 and considered the most important, popular and influential band in Spanish rock and a legend of Latin American music.

They were the first Spanish-speaking group to achieve massive success in Latam and played a very important role in the development and dissemination of Latin American rock and rock in Spanish during the 1980s and 1990s. During their career, they were a marked trend in Latin America, they starred in many genres such as the fun music of their beginnings, the new wave, the dark wave, hard rock, alternative rock and the electronic rock of their ends.

Their most famous songs are "De Música ligera", "Persiana Americana" and "En la Ciudad de la Furia".

if you're looking for more bands I think you would enjoy classic Hispanic rock like soda stereo (argentina) & caifanes (mexico)!! They're really similar to b-t's like more hype side, as a fishtanker that grew up w them. From soda I'd rec "Persiana americana" & "de musica ligera". I really like "afuera" from caifanes also. Also I wanted to tell u that I think you're really cool. I'm a younger moot, and trying to get into the whole goth thing as well, so I look up to you in a sense. Sorry if this is weird to say but I wanted to tell u this eventually bc I swear I was shocked when you fb!!! If it is weird just ignore me and take the music recs tho lol!! Have a good day :D

Alrededor de estas fechas hace tan solo 29 años, la banda de rock Caifanes lanzó uno de sus álbumes mas famosos de la época, y no solo de esa época, apuetso que todos nosotros hemos escuchado al menos una vez la canción ‘Afuera’.

Sin embargo este álbum tiene varias canciones igual de geniales, como ‘Aquí no es así ‘ o ‘ Pero nunca me caí ‘ ( si no las conoces no eres mexicano 👿).

Siendo objetivos este es un album realmente bueno, fusiona aspectos claro del rock, pop e incluso jazz.

Es un álbum muy variado con una canción para todos, ya sea que prefieran disfrutar el ritmo y la letra de canciones mas melancólicas como ‘Ayer me dijo un ave’ y ‘La llorona’, o prefieras bailar y cantar a todo pulmón con ‘ Afuera’, ‘Aquí no es así’ o mi fav ‘Aviéntame ‘.
